Canon Character Database

Welcome to the Canon Character Database, a new streamlined resource for checking on active face claims. Here you will find an ever-updating list of characters from other series and creators who are currently in use here on the forums and links to appropriate bios attached to them. It is our goal to have all active users on the forums contribute to this list for any of their current roster and any future characters.

First time profiles are still subject to staff approval before being considered compelete.

You can find our active user sourced Canon Character Checker thread here to be used in conjunction with this database.

The Rollout Info:

Any character bio created after the Canon Character Database posting (07/31/2021) will be given a grace period of two weeks from posting to be submitted to the database. If a fully completed bio is not submitted to the database by this time, any face claims within the bio are void until they have been submitted to the database.

Only fully completed character bios can be submitted to the database. This means a user is expected to have appropriate fields filled in (no WIP placeholders), sufficient information within the bio similar to first-time acceptance guidelines, and working links/images. Strive to keep your content up to date for the benefit of all users and record keeping.

How do I submit an entry to the database?

Post to this topic with the following:
A working hyperlink to your character bio.
The canon character's full name and the series in which they appear.
If a character is not from a series, but has a name, provide the name and the creator of the character as the source.
If you are unsure of where your character face claim comes from, head over to the Canon Character Identifier page and post your bios there for community help in figuring out the information needed.

All the easy steps:

Once your character links have been checked for bio completion, a member of staff will add them to the database listing and your posting will be deleted to keep the listing clean for additional user postings.

Recap:
Character Bios posted before 07/31/2021 had until 02/01/2022 to be submitted by their active user or their face claim was lost.
Character Bios posted after 07/31/2021 have two weeks after they are posted to be submitted by the active user or their face claim will be free for any user.
All character bios must be fully complete following basic profile guidelines to be submitted. No incomplete fields or WIP sections. This applies to old bios as well as new ones.

This is a mandatory process for any user wishing to use face claims.

Names within the database are listed primarily by First/Last name where applicable.
If you cannot spot a character at a glance, consider using Ctrl+f to use the browser search
function to locate a canon series or character from the ever-expanding list.
