Kels is an all-rounder type that has a very strong foundation in fundamentals. She has trained in proper techniques and learned various submission maneuvers to compensate for her lack of size. She generally knows what she is doing in the ring and is capable of forming strategies that might assist with her current opponent. She is a thinker that doesn't like making rash decisions and may hesitate instead of moving quickly on an opportunity. Overall, she is a defensive fighter with fairly average physical attributes.

Characteristics

Personality: She is a mostly good and pure person who tries to follow a straight path. With a pinch of her optimism, she can find happiness fairly easily and with an almost bubbling excitement, she can be a bit infectious to people who are very empathetic. She always believes people have some bit of good in them (though she can find it easier to preach this theory than practice). Experiencing new things are a treat and she likes to try things at least once.

Yet she does have her personality flaws. Due to her upbringing, she is generally unaware of another's feeling and can be kind of selfish and snobbish to others. It isn't out of malice but simply because she isn't very perceptive. Also despite her positive outlook of people, she can struggle with the actual practice of believing that people can be better and is certainly guilty of holding grudges but will adamantly deny accusations. There are types of people that are really susceptible to getting on Kels nerves. These people will tend to face her ire.

Background:
Born and raised in a lush Atlantic City beach manor, she had a silver spoon childhood that never had her wanting for anything. However there was a inherent cost to having wealth and that was having two parents who focused more on careers than maintaining a healthy family. Both parents worked in finance up in New York City and had their own apartment in the downtown where they lived for the weekdays. Kels was left with a nanny for most of her childhood and that lead to some real problems with her psyche.

Eventually hitting the teenage phase, she'd find her rebellion stage and hit that hard. Her grades were poor eventually resulting in being kicked out of her private school and in her parents annoyance, sent her to a public school. She struggled initially as everything seemed to be going wrong in her life with nobody to support her. This was, perhaps, the best thing that they could have done for her as she found someone, Jo, who helped her work through her emotions but also kind of stoked that rebellion a bit in her. She soon became best friends with Jo and the two became a great pairing. Jo provided Kels the affection and companionship she had been missing all this time. It really helped her to cool off and meeting someone that was so surprisingly sweet helped Kels change her attitude towards others for a more positive light.

Years later on her own whim, Kelsey really wanted to shake things up and be spontaneous. She knew Jo loved a good fight and found the idea of dressing up in cute outfits to wrestle others was a fun way that they can bond. She signed them up for the AFW league and surprised her partner with the idea of being her team member.
