Wrestling strategy: Patrice is very adaptable, not only regarding to her interest in acting and roleplay but also in terms of wrestling skills. Her quite vast experience and skill set mean that she can use a combination of strikes, submissions, power moves and aerial attacks depending on what’s most effective on the current opponent.

In her standard persona she is usually a face, wanting to win fights fairly and counting on her skills. However, she loves acting to the extent that if she is wrestling in or dressed up for a certain role, she can certainly have heelish tendencies too. Whatever fits the role, or could make for a great show!

Consequently, her variety of moves means that in any cosplay/roleplay-themed matches she can change her strategy according to the role in question.

Preferred Matches: Anything that she can use her acting skills in, or would make for a good show! All kinds of strange gimmicks or special stipulations tend to usually only make her more excited of the match.

However, if Patrice does not have any special role or there is not any gimmicks involved, she can tend to get very serious as a wrestler at times. On those occasions, standard matches are how she usually likes to have it in the ring.

Characteristics


Personality: Patrice loves performing. She loves the attention, and that is reflected well by her hobbies: acting, cosplay, roleplay, dancing, cheerleading, wrestling… She is usually positive and confident, ready to try out new things and take on new challenges. While definitely not a bookworm, Patrice is still quite smart and has an interest in Psychology. However, it’s hard to tell what her own genuine personality is like, because she’s so used to acting and taking on different roles in different situations.

In the ring Patrice is all about giving a good show for the audience. As a wrestler she considers herself a performer, and likes to alter her behavior according to the specific match. Winning or losing means often less to her than the performance itself. Especially if wrestling in any alternate roles/attires, she can act out as a ruthless heel or a hapless jobber depending on the situation. However, she tends to be more serious in her standard attire.




Past/History: Patrice grew up in Lyons, France. She had a good childhood and led quite a normal life. Her father was a businessman and mother worked as an accountant.

Already at a young age Patrice developed a fondness for performing. She was always the first to sign up on acting clubs and school theatre plays, and she loved adapting to different roles.

Her parents wanting to support a healthy lifestyle, they persuaded Patrice to take up dancing. She was a little reluctant at first, but soon found the thrill of performing getting her hooked on it. Through the dancing hobby she also developed an interest on cheerleading, and despite a slight reluctance of her parents she eventually was allowed to join the local cheerleading team.

As a teenager, the joy of performing made Patrice realize the importance of attractiveness. She began visits to the gym in order to sculpt her body even better. Loving attention also meant that she often liked to dress up provokingly, much to the disdain of her parents. They had to admit though losing the fight already at the time of starting up of the cheerleading hobby.

One day Patrice stumbled across a local cosplay event, immediately falling in love with it. It was the perfect fit for her love towards acting and roleplay, combined with the possibility to attract attention. Later during another event, she saw a couple of wrestling matches staged between different cosplayers. She instantly fell in love with it, wanting to find out all about the sport.
Soon enough Patrice joined a local wrestling league. While it was hard as a rookie, putting on a good show really made the adrenaline run through her veins. And soon enough, combined with her dancing, cheerleading and gym background she turned out to be pretty good at it.

Her parents remained unaware of her new hobby though. However, it was becoming increasingly difficult to hide the information from them. Eventually they found out, and that was the day Patrice moved away from home. Her parents really didn’t like her new hobby, but luckily she had turned 18 by then.

Suddenly one day, the local wrestling league was shut down, and Patrice found herself being forced to give up on it. She was saddened, but still found joy in her other hobbies. She mainly concentrated on acting, that actually seemed like a good possibility to start a career on. But the excitement of wrestling hadn’t escaped her mind, and one day she found about AFW. The acting career could wait for a while…
