- Catelyn is tough young girl who never shies away from a fight, she's always ready to brawl and is willing to do a lot to prove herself. Anything from take a good firm beating, to pulling off a few risky moves, Cat's got it all in here. She isn't as much of a daredevil as she is simply a person who firmly believes in the saying " No pain, no gain." and sticking to that Cat often tries to challenge herself, and is rarely one to give up.

She is not utterly stubborn and is willing to accept her short comings and understand well and good when she is defeated. Catelyn is a very kind girl and is a person who rarely insults or makes fun of her opponents. Catelyn believes that if she can't win fairly, then it's not a win, as such doing things like abusing rope-breaks, or cheat in anyway. As long as it's within the rules though, she's more than willing to get down into some serious hardcore shit.

▌  Strategy      
- Catelyn is a pretty well rounded mix between a striker and a submission user, followed with a decent mix of some powermoves. Though her primary focus is on striking and submissions, which she picked up from her Father and Brother thanks to their military training in hand to hand combat. She is rather well balanced, though of course her striking capabilities and her submissions are her forte, but beyond that she doesn't falter in any specific category. Which makes her a decent All-rounder. As such, Catelyn is able to adapt to a lot of situations, along with her tenacity and over all toughness she tends to simply keep up a steady flowing assault to wear her opponents down as much as she can.

▌  Irish stone-breaker
- Catelyn pull her doubled over opponents head in between her legs and squeeze it tightly whilst standing, and with it she tries to hook her arms in under her opponents, almost as if she's putting them in a chicken wing like hold. Once she's got that she attempts to lift them upside down and hold her up into the air for a bit, with her opponents back pressed against her front, and with that she drops down onto her knees all to try and smash the top of their head down against the mat, attempting to hit them with a double under-hook piledriver.

▌  Cormac sledgehammer / Caladbolg
- a sledgehammer punch (takes both her hands and interlock them and moves them to her side, and swing both at her opponents head.)A double axe handle to be more precise.

▌  Flying Cormac sledgehammer / Caladbolg Mk II
- similar to the standard sledgehammer, only that Cate climbs to the top rope of a corner, she does the same thing interlocking her hands into a double axe handle, only this time she holds it upwards not to her side and she jumps down to her opponent, (usually when they are on their knees or standing,) and slams her hands down on her opponents head, or any other part that seems to be a good choice at the time.

▌ Gae Bolg
- With her opponent reeling, Catelyn drops down into a crouch and braces her feet on the mat, placing herself in prime position for a running sprint start. When she fires off and begins to run off towards her opponent she does so at full speed. At the final moment she will drop down and ram her shoulder right into her opponents gut, wrapping her arms around them in a fluid motion and lifting them up off of the mat to then throw them back down in a mix of a spear and a spinebuster.

The Cormac family migrated from Ireland in the early 1900's, Catelyn's grandfather arrived at Ellis Island as a potato farmer, he took his nearly started family through the citizen process and soon found himself living in New York. The life of Cat's grandfather was rather uneventful until he joined the second the army to fight in the second world war. He fought along side his fellow Americans and a bunch of other Irish men. When he came home with a purple heart, it started a new tradition for the Cormac family. At least one of every following generation as been in the military. Catelyn's father, her brother and Catelyn herself would have joined if her over-protective father had allowed her to. While her father had the strong military morals and training which made him a strict father who wanted to serve their country, he was against his daughter joining the military. It was not because he felt she shouldn't fight, or get her hands dirty...his reasoning was quite lost on Catelyn, but it seemed his father didn't want Catelyn to witness the horrors that war itself brings. Maybe he didn't think the gentle souled Cat could handle it, perhaps he couldn't let his little girl go.

That didn't change the fact that Catelyn spent most of her life learning Military procedures, got training in self-defense from her father, grand-father and even her older brother for a few years. She worked from a young age along her father at an oil rig. Every summer after while she was in high-school, the beautiful redhead spent time working along side her father, brother and for quite a few years with her Grand-father, The early years. It wasn't long after her father had come home from the military that Grandpa Cormac had gotten a hold of a job on an oil rig which the he and his father started to work on, and following which he rose to the rank of foreman, which his father later took over. The Cormac family kept working along that oil rig, going off to the army and living a rather strict life. This did help Catelyn quite a bit though, she grew up to become a very strong girl, with a well toned body. She was also considered to be quite beautiful. Being out in the sun so much also helped make her skin quite tanned, least to say she had many suitors during her teens. In her late teens though, Catelyn joined a local even for wrestling, of course it only went semi-well, she managed to get herself up to the final three though and got a hold of a little bronze medal.

The even sort of ignited a will to fight, and following which she started to join a few places. Any events she could, MMA, Wrestling, Pure fighting and even a few boxing ones. When she turned twenty, the Irish girl met a woman in the finals of a tournament. The woman was Cecilia Northman, the two of them had a long and arduous match. Cecilia managed to come out on top, but the match made the two girl's bond a bit. They went out after the match to drink, Catelyn ended up being the only one so far that has been capable of drink Cecilia under the table. They spent a lot of time together for the following days, which in turn led them to grow into close friends. Cecilia helped train Catelyn in a few more moves and such, helping her along for her wrestling stuff.

Catelyn was the first of the two who managed to join AFW, though her career never got the boom that her friends did. She had a few good matches, following with more defeats than victories. Not to say she didn't manage to get one or two decent wins. Sadly though, Catelyn decided to take a break, she opened up a bar in Tokyo with a bit of an Irish flavor to it. A bar which Cecilia helped fun. Though as of late she got that will to throw down again, and when she went back to join up for AFW once more, the redhead was given a choice between Tension and Friction. Since she wanted to make more of a name for herself, she figured she'd join the slightly less booming Tension roster and try to rise to fame there.

 

▌  Personality

It can be quite easy to describe the very basics of Catelyn Cormac, she is an incredibly friendly but tough as nails Irish lass. She is kind, friendly, warm and open-hearted and at the same time she's one hell of a fighter with the tenacity of a wild beast. A fight is a fight and all is game upon the battlefield, while Catelyn isn't one to cheat or the like...she isn't above busting a few skulls as long as it doesn't break the rules. As a honorable fighter, Catelyn is not one for underhanded means and simply fights as fairly as she sees possible. Though it would be wrong to think that she is some chivalric fighter of absolute fairness. There is nothing wrong with striking someone's back, or a fleeing opponent....as long as the fight itself is a thing of course. Catelyn is a fighter, trained since a young age for self-defense and has improved herself with years of self and with help training from her close friend Cecilia.

She can be quite strict in some regards, she had a certain degree of military procedures ingrained in her mind. Mostly during day, night and so on. Her training regime is is strict and except for the odd drink here and there she is very peculiar about her food. While it's not such thing as an all salad diet, one can describe her choice of food being somewhat old fashioned. Which isn't very good for her since she lives in Japan, which doesn't cater that well towards her own taste. It usually means that Cat has to order most of her stuff from other countries, usually canned variety.

In terms of a fight or a normal everyday the only real difference between Cat is if she punches you in the face or not. It's not impossible to piss Catelyn off enough for her to start a brawl or even really fight back instead of just trying to pin or push said person away...but it's entirely possible. Regardless of which, most of the times she does act very friendly...until you piss her off of course, though it will rarely result in her actually starting to hate a person. In her entire life, Catelyn hasn't really gotten any for of hate for anyone. Dislike yes, but Hate ? Not really. People she doesn't care for she tries to just have them stay away from her thoughts and if she can't have that she attempts to at least not have such strong feelings over them. Though perhaps it's entirely possible for that to happen sometime in the future...
