Strategy: Remy is all about overwhelming offense and having the guts to push the fight to the max. Holding back isn’t a possibility with her. She comes rushing out the gate like a human bulldozer, making heavy and reliable use of power moves to beat down her opponents all over the ring. She’s a surprisingly technical brawler, using that brute strength in a wide range of power-based submissions and aggressive grappling that keeps her opponent on the back pedal. While far from refined, anyone within arm’s reach of that killer attack power only has one thing to look forward to: a long trip to the ground.

Personality: Fierce and headstrong, Remy is the first one into a fight and the last one out. She respects guts more than anything else. It’s the love of the game and the new challenges it brings that excites her more than anything else, especially when it comes to facing Wrestle Angels. Her hotheadedness can be overbearing, but her strong sense of sportsmanship keeps things as friendly as she can make them.

Despite her ferocity in the arena, she’s surprisingly relaxed and easy-going in her daily pursuits. Though often as boisterous, jovial, and slightly oblivious as her looks suggest, she’s also just as much a city girl with a sense of fun. It isn't hard for her to keep her job and social life separate as much as they tend to overlap. She's more considerate and humble than people seem to give her credit for, seemingly more interested in the troubles and triumphs of others than her own. Far from the smartest woman in the room, she can struggle to grasp the weight of the situation and step on toes without knowing it.

Perseverance had played a role in Remy’s life from an early age. Her dad ran a construction company and worked late hours to support them both and her ailing mother. Weak from pregnancy, she’d grown too frail to continue and passed away before Remy could pronounce her name. But life continued on, and while the two of them did rather well for themselves, Remy struggled academically. Her true passion was sports, developing something of a reputation for rowing with the other boys and butting heads for competition. Track and field, football, she had a little taste of everything but never settled in one area long enough to make anything out of it.

At 15, she started working at her father’s construction company. While he did his best to keep her from riskier jobs and closer to the office, he eventually caved after a year of nagging. Manual labor did wonders for her physique and built her strength to three times what it was before. With that power came the confidence to match. She joined the wrestling team and, despite her lack of skill as a rookie, her strength and tenacity were more than enough to bring home the gold three times over. Despite being recognized collegiality, Remy opted for loftier goals. An audition with GWA landed her on the professional scene in Canada. A landing more akin to an explosion. Remy never lost a bout in the ring and earned a hard-fought reputation after toppling the Phantom Roses in a handicap battle, and handedly defeating Jody Beaton, some of the company’s most veteran talent. Uncontested for Rookie of the Year, it should have come as no surprise that plenty of eyes were drawn her way.

Remy took her skills with her to the IWWF in California. From a seemingly unremarkable beginning, she settled nicely onto the middle bracket and steadily built her way to national stardom over the course of four years. Beyond her prowess, her explosive personality popped on camera and her straightforward philosophy on wrestling earned her a good amount of popularity amongst both fans and other wrestlers inside and out of the league. Nevertheless, her style earned her no small amount of grief from the more technical and experienced IWWF wrestlers.

It must have been a harrowing day for them when she finally earned her title as the reigning IWWF Heavyweight Champion. There weren’t many that could challenge her after that. The popularity went to her head, seemingly convinced that no one could bring her down.

Enter one Beauty Ichigaya. A recent exile from a premier league in Japan, Wrestle Angels, seeking opportunity abroad. Her curiosity got the better of her when she accepted the pompous blonde’s challenge head on and ended up losing her belt after a hard-fought, yet nonetheless decisive bout. The rival powerhouse ran her name through the muck and kicked her from her spot on top of the league and fresh down to the mid-card.

There was one benefit to losing her belt: it turned her attention abroad. To Japan, specifically. She intended to use the IWWF’s close connections with Wrestle Angels to get her onto the roster after she arrived in the country. Unfortunately, Wrestle Angels folded before her request could be processed. Instead, she spent her time traveling the country, bouncing between rival Japanese leagues solely for the goal of taking on former Angels. It was only after a year or so that she noticed they were all suddenly cropping up in one place.

Her next stop was Tokyo.

Fun Facts:
- Remy’s picked up a thing or two from the few years she spent working with her dad in construction. She’s about as solid a carpenter and lumberjack as she is as a wrestler. The occasional odd job or opportunity to help around Tokyo isn’t beyond her reach either.

- Remy’s glass jaw is a hidden kink in her armor of endurance. It isn’t obvious and only a few have been attentive, patient, or fortunate enough to seek it out, but when it's hit in the right way, it's enough to put her down for a few seconds.

- Though far from home, Remy goes well out of her way to import her own maple syrup from Canada. There’s just no other choice.
