Speaking plainly, Shiki is a self-centered brat. She can only think of herself and how anything she could do would benefit her or give her some profit. Other people are just tools or obstacles in her way to success and fame, so she isn’t concerned by them. She isn’t stupid or simple-minded though,  quite the opposite. Her mind can get to work in wicked ways to manipulate not only her rivals, but everyone else to always make her look like the good one, a cute innocent thing being a victim, and it is when everyone is looking other way when her true colors show.

Background: 
Shiki is the second daughter of a simple, hard-working American-Japanese Family. She grew up in San Francisco, where she spent all of her childhood and teenage years. From her very early years, Shiki’s parents started thinking that something was wrong with that little girl’s attention span. No matter how devoted to their parenting they were, it looked like Shiki wouldn’t just concentrate. It wasn’t exactly like that, but instead the child only saw the things that interested her worthy of effort. That was why she would always pay attention to things that might look menial for everyone but that reported her some gratification in the form of attention or something she gained.

This situation didn’t improve with the years, with Shiki barely paying attention to her studies in her teenage years while always tried to be in the spotlight, getting everyone’s attention. She started manipulating others to make her always look innocent and used that charm to her advantage numerous times. In her high-school era she started excelling at tennis, and she liked it for some time since it gave her the admiration of her peers. She even got to get a scholarship for college, but after a year of it her attention was drawn somewhere else and she dropped off, leaving college and tennis when she was 20.

Of course all that was a disappointment to her parents who at that point didn’t know what else to try. They approached their daughter and asked what else could they do for her. Shiki only asked for a small boost of cash and she would be out of their lives. Reluctantly, her parents accepted, knowing that she would be back when she had burnt all the money. It turned out that Shiki had been following certain wrestling show online for some time, and it had piqued her interest to the point she was eager to travel to Japan and give it a try, so brace AFW, so here come Cutie Shiki.


Trivia: 
- No boys allowed: Shiki just doesn’t get along men. She doesn’t trust them and that is why she wouldn’t go cross-divisions with Tension.

- Tennis pro: She practiced tennis to the point she was offered a scholarship, but she got it only to drop off some time after as her attention was brought somewhere else.

- Only in name: Her family has been out of Japan for three generations, the last Japanese-born being her great-grandfather. Her grandfather usually came back to Japan, but that tradition faded so the only thing she knows of the Rising Sun is what she learnt in media and not so reliable sources.
