Most people don't like looking at how bad the Iron shek is now with his knee and back problems from his years wrestling because it is hard to look at such a strong heel.

Maybe all that stuff you said is the reason for the alcohol, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's the alcohol that makes him sad to look at these days.
