Julia Rogers & Alaina Sanders Vs. Team Corona

After finally tagging in Alaina, Julia rolled under the bottom rope while the Amazon went to work on Natsuki. Julia didn’t see the spear or the backbreaker connect, but the masked blonde heard Natsuki’s cries and loud crashes in the ring, and couldn’t help but smile as she slowly pulled herself back up to her feet.

Once up, Julia glanced over at Succubus, who was slowly recovering on the outside but still seemed pretty out of it. Then her gaze went into the ring as she heard Alaina’s voice calling to her, and she saw Natsuki barely conscious and draped over the Amazon’s knee. But where was Yuuka? The answer came as soon as Julia climbed to the top, and she smirked as she saw Team Corona’s leader retreating on the ramp.

She didn’t bother wasting her breath shouting a taunt to the bratty idol, though a part of her very much wanted to. Instead she watched as Alaina set Natsuki up for the Amabomb, and immediately knew exactly what her partner had in mind. If the Amazon’s devastating finisher hit, Julia would be ready with an outstretched hand while perched on the top rope, then turn around with her back facing Natsuki as soon as the tag was made.

Raising to stand up straight atop the turnbuckle, Julia would smile while pointing both index fingers up to the sky, taking in the waves of cheers directed her way. “Time to fly!” she’d announce, before leaping and flipping backward with a corkscrew moonsault, aiming to follow up the Amabomb by crashing right onto Natsuki with a Stardust Press! And if it connected, Julia’d immediately swing a leg over the Corona member’s torso and sit astride her chest facing her feet, then reach out to grab a leg and pull it up, hooking it under her arm as she attempted to put Team Corona away for good with this pin attempt!

Natsuki squirmed as she was forced between Alaina's legs but as she was hoisted up, she offered little in the way of resistance. The crowd was rather raucous too as they knew what was about to happen.

By the time the moonsault hit, she was already out of it from the powerbomb and she didn't even groan when her leg was hoisted up. She definitely didn't hear the referee counting.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

THREE!"

Once the three count came and the bell rang, Alaina climbed back through the ropes and held Julia's hand high into the air! "Wooooo! Way to go girl! You are one crazy fast, tough woman you know that?" Alaina said as she smiled, taking in the cheers of the fans as the dojo girls defeated the far less cohesive Team Corona. Alaina pointed over at Julia with her free hand. "This cowgirl took all the worst that Team Corona could throw at her and came out on top despite all their dirty tricks!" Alaina shouted out loudly enough for the first few rows of fans to hear.

Alaina gave Julia a big hug afterward and moved over to the ropes, holding the top and middle ropes apart. "After you!" Alaina said cheerfully to Julia. As the two left the ring, Alaina went to high five more fans as the triumphant team made their way to the back.

When the bell rang to make it official, Julia smiled as she released Natsuki’s leg and rolled off of the girl, then pulled herself back to her feet as Alaina came over to raise her hand up. “Heh. Thanks, Alaina. You were a hell of a tank though, the way ya just bulldozed right over her like that!” she replied. And when the Amazon pointed to Julia and complimented her to the fans, the blonde took a bow...then found herself being squeezed in Alaina’s powerful arms as soon as she stood up again.

“E-easy there..!” Julia said with a strained chuckle, putting her arms around Alaina and patting her on the back. She was every bit as happy for the victory as her partner, but at the same time was very much looking forward to the shower and rest that would be coming soon.

As Alaina moved to hold the ropes for her, Julia stepped through them to exit the ring. “Thanks, Alaina.” she said, then started to high five fans along with Alaina as the two headed back up the ramp. Once by the curtain again, Julia turned and waved to the crowd one more time. “Later, Tokyo!” she called out, then disappeared backstage with Alaina, ready to go celebrate the victory!
