Something New for Tension

I'd just like to point out one of the biggest reasons I want to implement this is to try and give Tension something unique. Something that can give it its own identity rather than being a pity league where Friction girls take the train down and play with Tension boys who don't actually have their own wrestlers.

I'd hope this might spark some interest in creating more exclusively Tension girls.

And the more popular Tension is, the more chances it will have cool events like Friction.

A good exercise would be:

1. Name 10 Friction wrestlers.
2. Name 10 Tension wrestlers (who aren't also Friction girls).

Agreed that one problem with Tension is that it's lacking it's own people. Also, I think it's been lacking a clear identity, as in is Tension the mixed wrestling brand, or is it more hentai, but friction is already so much hentai, or is it more pro-am sorts of stuff or whatever else. Having a "this is how Tension works", even if it's just that outside of exhibitions Tension runs on mixed matches, and runs the gambit from pro to hentai just like Friction.

Anyway.

Okay.This is my solution to most of people's 'worries'

Finding a duo is like finding a date.TALK TO PEOPLE.

How can this be kept organized? Create a page/forum/something or other,to show everyone that is a duo.Keep the damn thing clean and only editable by the mods.Any questions?

The concept is cool. I mean I love making more drama/shenanigans.

I just don't see how this gives Tension an identity other than "That confusing mixed league."

Also, Is my character really winning a title if we have to duo?

If my char is Number 1 contender and the champ chooses to use his Duo Partner, did my char truly win the Tension Title? Or did he beat the champ's lesser stand in? The same could be applied if the challenger has to use his female duo partner, he didn't win the title against the champion, his Partner beat the champion.

The Champion is a male named: "Moe Green."

The challenger is Joe Blue. Moe chooses to fight Joe's female Duo Partner, Sally Red. So now its Sally Vs. Moe for the title and SALLY WINS. Moe Green loses his title. But is Sally the champ now? Maybe, Maybe not, because now she has to immediately face her Duo Partner, Joe Blue! The winner of that bout becomes THE CHAMPION and is the superior wrestler within the Duo. This can of course create some drama as their might be a rift between the two partners now. Will they stick together? Will the loser hate the winner and want to wreck them? Will the loser split and find a new partner to challenge the ex partner?

It can create IC friendships and destroy them.

Joe: "Ok Sally, you won the belt, you're my duo and I did all the work to win this tournament to get the number one contender spot while you did nothing. It's only fair that you lay down and let me pin you.

Sally: "NO WAY! I'VE WON THE TENSION WORLD TITLE, IF YOU WANT IT YOU'LL HAVE TO BEAT ME CUZ THERE IS NO WAY I'M LETTING THIS GO!"

Joe: "You fiend! " title="zomg" /> "

Sally: "HOW MANY SQUIRRELS MUST DIE FOR YOU TO LOOK FLY!?

Joe: "Huh?"

Sally: *gives piledrivah!!*

This allows more chars to have opportunities at a title. More exclusive tension gals that actually have a chance at the title (Rather easily) if they're pair up with some dood who's already been active.

FURTHER MORE: The reason the duo match between Joe and Sally would take place right after The title match against "Champion Moe". Is because this encourages players to have their chars actually try, because if you think you can just sit back and let your duo do all the work you're wrong.

One of you will have to face two opponents back to back. So you can't just ride on the coat tails of your partner who just won a tournament. You're char has to withstand an endurance match of sorts!
