As the World Burns

Valkoinen narrowed her eyes as the blonde spoke. It was good she liked to talk because the longer she spent not fixing her wound, the easier it would be for Val. However, it didn't mean she wasn't keenly aware of the chopper and when the blonde called into her comm, the White Death knew exactly what that meant.

She raised her eyes just in time to see the chopper turn. Valkoinen turned and ran away from the hail of bullets as it sprayed up towards her and jumped off the roof. She knew that even if she had to break a bone, that it was a far better fate than getting buzzsawed by a minigun.

Cass fianlly had Swan right where she wanted her but before she could get Swan to surrender another one of Cass's enemies tackled Cass to the floor. Cass knew she had to be quick about this or else she might end up dead. However, as Cass hit the ground on her injured shoulder and the pain caused her to let go of hre pistol, leaving Cass vulnerable for the moment to whatever Fox had planned.

The minigun opened fire on Val until the gunner saw her leap off of the roof, meanwhile The Major was clinging to the side, having never truly jumped off.

"Major! We lost visual!" Said the gunner before The Major got back on the roof and hurried to the edge, trying to peer over and search for Val.

Meanwhile, Wolf tackled Cass and the boy only had one working arm, meaning that when he smashed into her, he simply slumped atop of her while clutching his bleeding arm, focused only on saving Swan's life who was stunned by the pistol whip.

"Uhh..." Wolf groaned and tried to crawl over Cass and attempt to reach out and grab the gun!

Val hit the street after jumping off the roof and had to use all of her training not to yelp as she hit. She rolled, mitigating a lot of the fall, but something wasn't right. Champing down on her cheek until it bled, she dashed into another building and took a moment to check her leg.

This was a bad situation or, at least, it was. Now that she didn't have eyes on her, the pain was secondary to trying to lose these apparently hired guns. She looked at the people inside the house and held up a finger to her lips.

Pushing down on her foot, she winced and sucked in a hissing breath. She shook it off and continued through the house, to the back part where she found another window and crawled through it. It had been some time since she had been hunted, but if she was going against true professionals, then Val was pretty certain she might have already been dead.

Cass was in a lot of pain but she knew she had to fight through it and escape. Cass was worried about Val but the boy on top of her was taking most of her attention. Cass saw Wolf start to reach for her pistol and she would quickly reach down and pull out her knife. "You don't know who you are messing with!" Cass would yell out as she would try to stab Wolf in his side to get him off of her.

Swan, although dazed would see the last of the Diamond Dogs crawling over Cass trying to get the pistol before he was suddenly stabbed! She watched in horror as her comrade clutched his side before he flopped onto his back, holding his ribs.

She didn't waste any time going into her com link.

The Major wanted to pursue after Val when she saw the woman hit the street and duck into a house but on her comm she'd hear the faint cry of Swan.

"D-Diamond Dog unit is down! I-I'm... I'm wounded and on my own, sir..." Said Swan as The Major would bite her lip and rush back through the window, diving back into the hallway before rushing into the room where she'd see the bodies of the two red haired brothers Fox and Hound. the stabbed Wolf, and a wounded Swan.

"Wretch." Growled the Major as she drew her side arm, a tranquilizer pistol and fired at Cass, aiming for the side of the woman's neck.

Valkoinen continued to press through the buildings, weaving in and out of them and trying to snake her way away from where she thought that the crew might be. She had no clue what was happening to Cass, but her thoughts began to head towards them.

She narrowed her eyes as she approached a building and stopped. She slowly began to double back to where she had staked out for her mission, taking a moment to steal some clothes and a hat so that she could at least have some measure of disguise as she tried to get back to the place where she had left Cass.

Cass had managed to get Wolf off of her but sadly Cass was too injured to make a quick escape. Cass had just managed to stand up when the Major entered the scene. "Where the fuck do you all keep coming from?" Cass managed to say before the Major shot her in the neck. "Shit." was all Cass was able to say as she would start to feel woozy from the drugs and the lose of blood. Cass fell against the wall as she tried her best to remain conscious.

The Major moved up on Cass as the woman remained conscious. The traq was supposed to put her out but she was resisting. Nabijah narrowed her eyes and rushed Cass before trying to uppercut the poor soldier in the jaw with the butt of her gun to knock her ass out!

Once and IF Cass was down, The Major went on the check on her crew, Wolf was bleeding and alive. "Swan?" She'd say before she saw her loyal soldier rise. "M-Major." She'd mutter while her leader checked on the Diamond Dogs that were cut up and shot.

Wolf was bleeding but alive. Fox and Hound were wounded but barely alive.

"Major..?" Swan said as she got her gun, while the blonde haired woman looked over Cass' body.

"Call the blackhawk, we're taking this one with us." Ordered the Major as the chopper took a circle around the area before lowering itself near the streets below where more soldiers would hit the streets, moving in to retrieve Fox and Hound while Swan picked up Wolf and The Major grabbed Cass, draping the woman over her shoulder before marching outside, trying to dump the woman's body on the chopper before the White Death appeared.

When Valkoinen reached the vicinity of the favela she had taken position in, she watched as the personnel moved in and out and began to retrieve their comrades along with Cass. Once they were cleared and looked ready to go, Val crept back into the house and quickly made her way upstairs to their room. She grabbed her Mosin-Nagant and crawled back onto the short roof until she was standing over the edge pointing it down at the helicopter.

"Pleased to be with the releasing captive and I will be with the considering not being with the killing your squad before I surrender." She said, giving the the ultimatum from her position.
