By epic levels a wizard should be also using spell craft to create his or her own spells. I have tried 4th edition at a shop near where I live that allows games to be hosted and it isn't too bad, but I prefer 3rd-3.5 for any dnd adventures I will be the DM for.

I have actually RP'd Lukretia as a DnD character (well, pathfinder) She was a Rogue 4/Barbarian 6/ Fighter 10 and she pretty much fucked everything's shit up.

Hilde was also a character. She was Lukretia's Follower thing from the Leadership feat and she was a Cavalier/Cleric.
