Saori Saito vs. Catherine Celestial (mid-show undercard)

It was ways off yet to the main event, but that's why you always keep several under cards! Besides, everyone gets a chance to see their favorite fighters in this period...or the ones they hate so they get a chance to hurl boos at them. And AFW had no shortage of athlete's for either of those categories for their undercard fights, whether it be for Friction or Tension, it be a high profile, a newcomer, jobbers, or the sorts that fit in none of those.

And today was going to be no different. The theme music kicked in as the arena lights changed into hues of pink and blue, and a very energetic person cartwheeled onto the stage!

Spoiler:

She transitioned from a cartwheel into a jump, did a mid air roll and landed on her feet, bringing her hands up into a fox pose! The crowd gave out a lot of cheers....and just as many boos. As she twirled, teasing her hips, down the walkway to the ring, this person, Saori, got up to the ring and hopped up, but not before teasing her hips again before clambering inside.

Saori turned around to look at the audience all around, her arms outstretched, before she did a sweeping motion and smoothly went into a pose where she lay seductively on the mat floor, marking the end of her introduction! Even as the lights went back to normal, she still lay in her pose, waiting to see who the opponent was going to be.

Catherine comes into the ring the crowd cheers for the newish wreslter making her way to the ring. From parts unknown it Catherine Celestial.

She walks down with making her right from a fist in the air. She goes into the ring and she goes and climb on the top rope on tye for right and puts her right fist into the air. She gets down and makes her self fenter herself near the back of the ring.

She saw from the tv that she likes to be a bit sexy. Submission or areikist maybe a stiker or something sort of hybrid of the 3. Catherine has learned it best to take as much information about your opponent in as possible.

Catherine :

As Catherine made her way into the ring, Saori kept her little smile up as her opponent for today got closer. As the intro was finished, Soari raised a hand in a cat-like cutie motion, as she said "Well helllooooo, beautiful. I like your style, nice hairdo!" With that, she pushed herself up, quickly standing up in a swift motion, did a twirl, as she took the fake fox ears off her hairband and tossed it out of the ring. With another sweep of her hands, she stretched a hand out to shake Catherine's hands. Despite her being a little shorter and not looking particularly physically intimidating compared to Catherine, Saori had a firm strong grip, and even shook her arm hard enough with enough energy to shake Catherine.

"I'm glad we are going to have this, because I'm up for a shot of you! But be careful, this fox knows how to bite!" she said it with a playful showing of her bright white teeth. She even gave out a jokey playful poke into Catherine's sides to accentuate the good mood she seemed to have. But if thats all so....why was the crowd booing so much earlier at Saori?

Catherine look at her and study her words and she hear tye booing mix in with the cheering. She will grab her hand in a hand shake but if she tugs her still she getting deck in the face.

" it very nice to see someone who engerentic as you."

She said but she cringe a bit in her head. She wonders why they are booing at her opponent. Does she have a nasty side or do they just not like her.

She goes to shake her hands but prep that lunch just in case.

Saori gave "right back atcha" finger guns as Catherine gave her own compliments back at her. With that, she turned around, swaying her waist with her arms down in a cutesy pose, even giving light hops as she sang, "Thanks! I'm gonna win this, thooough!" even turning around for a bit to do a "toodles" finger wave with one of her hands. Saori seemed right fine, perhaps a bit annoyingly so.

Nonetheless, she went to her corner, and turned around, ready to throw down and show this Catherine why you don't mess with a fox! Throughout all of that, there were cheers and boos being hurled at her constantly. A rather suspicious sight that Saori didn't seem to notice, or perhaps she ignored, as she simply raised an arm to the audience, even waving her arm at herself like as if she was soaking herself in the cries of love and hate from the audience.

BELL RINGS

Catherine goes to steady walk towards Saori. She gets close just to do a fake punch folollowwed up with. A kick and a series of punches to start the match's


If that did work or eas successful she would try to. Grapple her and Irish whip her ti the ropes to give her a fireman carry

As the bell rang, Saori put her arms up, doing a peppy little walk step, as she approached Catherine, ready for battle!

Catherine took initiative, throwing in a punch at first which turned to be a fake out for a kick! Saori had kept a bit of distance when the punch came, and the kick incoming caused her to backstep, as Catherine followed up her initiative with a series of punches. She came all in with an aggressive offense!

Saori kept her guard up, weaving past some of the punches, blocking another, before evading the last one and doing a leg split, ducking below Catherine's arms and throwing a punch aimed at her stomach!

Catherine getting caught up that she didn't see the pump from down under. She follows up a counter with a roundhouse kick to her and she tough through the pain of her punch.

The punch landed, and made Catherine flinch! However, she retaliated with a roundhouse kick, that Saori dodged via ducking under by going fully prone on the ground, before rolling out of the way, and getting back up on her feet with her guard up!

She gave a playful wink, her teeth bared in a toothy smile, as she approached.

Catherine will remember that for next time. Catherine rush towards saori. She made it look like she was gonna try to shoulder rush her down when she was just guarding for a dropkick.
