Saori Saito vs. Catherine Celestial (mid-show undercard)

Soari maintained her stance and her little smile, but on seeing Catherine try to rush her, her eyes widened, smile faded, and she moved backwards, both arms up in a semi guard state, with her hands open just a bit, as she backed up into the ropes, readying herself for whatever it was that Catherine was trying to set up to throw at her.

She felt the ropes behind her as she stiffened.

Catherine went in for a drop kick. If soari didn't brace engouh this would send her over the ropes and if she was well maybe this would knock her down because Catherine did a drop kick straight to the center fo soari stomach

Saori braced for impact, as the drop kick came in straight for her stomach. Saori did block the strike, but it also caused her to fling off over the top ropes! Except instead of falling out and crashing on the floor, she grabbed the top ropes, brought herself to a stop, then leaped up, springing back up over it, spinning and jumping over the ropes and landing right on her feet behind Catherine!

She stepped back a bit, before raising her hands up, going "Ta da!"

Despite the theatrics, and some cheers and wows, a lot of boos were still hurled at Soari.

Catherine takes a quick look behind and sees her there. She surosied that she didn't attack but that her fault.

Catherine goes to jump up and grab the back of saori head to help her preform a stunner onto her.

She though she wpukd be a bit more aggressive.

Catherine made her move to try to knock the maiden down but Catherine had made a significant error!

As she jumped up to try to grab Saoris head, the opponent sidestepped out of the way! IIf Catherine didnt defend herself well, Saori would bring one of he raised hands down and push the back of Catherine's head, forcing her face to slam into the canvas!

Catherine was supsied that it failed. she msut be quik er than she thought. morw reactivate. she hurred to putt her hands bendhind her head which help prevent her opponent push make her go to the ground. she would thoigh a punch in the direction of the right so she geys some clearance

Tho she managed to get behind Catherine, Cath managed to break the grip off, to Saoris surprise. Catherine was definitely a lot more quicker than she looked.

As she threw a punch at her, Saori ducked barely in the nick of time, feeling the wind of the fist, as Catherine stepped back. Bringing herself up, arms up in a guard stance, Saori advanced and threw her own punch in a sideways pivot aimed at Catherine's own head, trying to get her to either take a hit or back further towards a corner!

Catherine punch failed but it did make Saori go on the offense. she buckled up a defenese and saw her pivot . she pays attetuon to her arms. she saw punch ciming to her face. she block it snd went for a heavy ounch to her face. Hopefully she can stun her a bit to go for a grapple on her and deal some real damage.

Saoris punch got blocked and she received a hard punch to her own face in return! This caused her to stumble backwards, one arm still up, as she tried to keep Catherine back now with a determined look; with one guard up like a shield, she threw another punch, this time punching a bit lower, aimed at Catherine's breasts!

Catherine thought landed the punch. she can't take a punch that well it seems. she went foward again but however the punch she saw she thoat she was aiming fkr her throat or face.

supsied that she actually went for her breast. she went back a bit. she went to go for a running jumping clothesline
