Business or Pleasure?

"Ok I got it... umm which one of these keys is it?" Alaina asked as she held up the keyring, chuckling a bit. "This place looks really nice, I bet the inside is nice too huh?"

Alaina knew for sure it would be better than her place. Sure there was room but it was far from luxurious. "Do you have any roommates or do you live here alone?"

Mamouru grabbed Alaina's hand and pushed out the correct key. He guided her hand to the lock and turned it, pushing it open. He stepped through. It was a pretty normal apartment. Mamouru kept it neat because he was a neat person and always liked a clean space for bringing home the ladyfolk.

"I live alone, Alaina-san." He said and slipped out of his shoes. His apartment was small. It had a front room that had a small couch, a television and on the other side of the room was a refrigerator, and stove. There was an inlet that lead to the bathroom, the shower room and the bedroom and that was it.

He sat down on the couch and leaned back. The walk had helped to clear his head. He wasn't feeling drunk anymore. Now, he just had a pretty lady in his apartment who was practically begging him for the charm.

"It looks like a really nice place! Its a lot tidier than mine, but you don't have a dog do you?" Alaina said with a laugh as she looked around. "How are you feeling?"

Alaina went to the kitchen to grab some water for Mamouru. He might have looked better now but a couple glasses of water might mean the difference between waking up tomorrow refreshed or waking up with a headache. She could tell it was a guys apartment because of the decorations... or lack of decorations. "Here, drink this just to make sure you have a hangover free day tomorrow." She said as she handed the glass to him.

"I have no pets." Mamouru said. "And I'm fine." He added. He took her drink and sipped it. He set it down and looked at Alaina. "I'm not going to have a hangover." He said. And even if he did, he deserved it. "You don't need to fuss this much, I'm home now. Isn't that what you wanted?" He asked. "I appreciate it, Alaina-san, but you could probably go now."

"Yeah, I did want you to get home safely." Alaina said as she reached for her phone. "Whats your number? I'll text you mine and hopefully you can get me ready for an upcoming match I've been pushing for."

Alaina made her way over to Mamouru and gave him a hug. She squeezed him hard to show off her strength a little bit. "I am just glad you are doing better now." She said genuinely.

Mamouru told Alaina her number and was about to take another sip of water when she hugged him tightly. He felt her chest against his and the scent of her hair as he patted her back softly. She was something else. It probably would have been no trouble to get her to stay longer. He had to let her walk away though, even if part of him screamed to see what he could get away with.

"I'm fine, Alaina-san." He said into her ear. "What about you? Will you be alright getting home?"

"I'll be fine. I dressed like this because I planned to jog home so it really only added 15 minutes or so. I'm looking forward to working with ya big guy! Talk to you again soon!"

Alaina smiled and waved as she left. Her run home was a nice one as she was excited to have a manager. She was also happy because she felt like she could help him out. Monster or not everyone deserved a second chance and a friend.
