Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Absolutely. Poor Sandow can´t even make Smackdown these days, I hope he takes a page out of Barretts book and looks for a chance elesewhere too. Pretty sure the Japan promotions would welcome him with open arms.

I really just don't understand the Sandow thing. He's been able to get himself over on his own every time he's been "repackaged" Like, he's SO good. He must have done something bad to get this kind of shaft.

It is honestly kind of shocking how many wrestlers and tag teams have been punished/broken up/pushed down the card because they did the horrible crime of getting themselves over without managements help.

Update on Neville, since for some reason I've become 'That Neville guy'-
Not in need of surgery, and will be back in 2-3 months. Put's him in good frame for the Money in the Bank and of course Summerslam, the former of which I hope he get's a better moment than a single aerial manoeuvre off the ladder, the latter of which hope he get's something better than carrying Stephen Amell.

I see no allure in Neville's character. He is that guy that Lita carried for a while that no one remembers. Sandow is another Brian Daniels that just got over because the crowd actually does appreciate the efforts some put into their craft.
I would love to see WWE capitalize on their stars all being out but the good ole boys are flat screwing it up. Get me Jim Cornette pronto before this opportunity really gets lost.
Jericho jobbing off to AJ Styles, another soon to be 40 year old wrestler himself, doesnt seem like it will go far. I think the only new talent I care for is Kevin Owens and they cant find a mid card feud for him. He could be good but I see him getting shelved for a very badly rushed AJ Styles push.
The state of wrestling is just awful in the WWE right now, and the window of opportunity seems to be flatly ignored to bring forward the next crop of talent. Instead its the same 15 year old shtick.

The Asuka/Bayley vs Nia/Eva match was much better than I feared. I like this trend of just having Eva getting beat up in matches. It's like they've made her being a terrible wrestler an integral part of her character.

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
HHH is probably the guy that is in the best shape of the old guard who at least kept a shred of relevance, I don´t really consider Lesnar to be an old wrestler. I am as much a HHH fan as I am a Cesaro fan, but even for me it is obvious that he can´t be as good as he was some years ago and this should be his last hurrah at the biggest stages of them all as a wrestler.
You can see Jericho putting on weight despite staying strong in the ring, and I m pretty sure he won`t be around a ring when he is 50. Since his 2010 departure and then return, the man has put over so many people that I am not excited at all to see him return. So WWE took something good like a veteran pushing a young wrestler after a drawn out and exciting series and turned it into something bad, the horrible veteran always looses week after week boring routine. Kane is the worst offender off this, the man sunk so rapidly in the jobber midcard after his last heavyweight title that it hurt me.
Despite my fanboydom for both Kane and the Undertaker, I want them to retire rather sooner than later from in ring competition. Kane has shown that he has acting talent and so could stay on the show if he wants, Concessions Kane and Team Hell No was great.
On a related sidenote, I find it hillarious that Sheamus is now on the receiving end of what he dished out to Christian, Orton and Big Show some years ago when he was WHC and Cena 2.0 .^^

Re: Topic: Wrestling?
Honestly, I thought HHH looked as good at Roadblock as he ever has. Maybe he's slowed down over the years, sure, but i really can't tell. He didn't seem to have much problem going at it for over twenty minutes, and he kept up fine with Dean Ambrose, who's a considerably younger man.
I've also greatly enjoyed Chris Jericho's work as of late, especially now that he's back in full blown heel mode. Got no real complaints about the work he's been doing with Styles.
