As a first outing for this rebooted account, I'd like to engage some opponent in a matroom, or something equivalent, with a focus on BJJ, Catch Wrestling, MMA, etc. It can range from actual training (preferably of the character I play but I can do yours even if I'd like further teaching for BJJ.) to an extreme match. Either way, message me if you wanna bite. While I do like femdom and all that, I will do my best to treat any participants equally.

Re: RPGs, Collaberation and Kayfabe
OK, seems we never found out what the deal is with heterosexual girls, so that will have to remain a mystery.
Anyway… a series of this game would consist of 8 shows, then a PPV at the end. The Kayfabe rule set has players decide what the matches in the final PPV are going to be in advance. They donâ€t HAVE to go ahead (subject to injury, plotting etc), but thatâ€s the general idea.
This is one of the main characteristics of this RPG - youâ€ll have a rough idea of where story arcs will be aiming, up to nine matches in advance. I do like the sound of this, in terms of giving the matches more focus and purpose. However, it is quite a break from the freeform roleplaying in AFW, so I donâ€t know how popular such aggressive preplanning will be in practice.
After character introductions and the PPV planning, youâ€re set up for playing through a weekly show, which comes in three parts as follows:
1) Booking Committee - each player suggests ideas for matches, promos or skits. You can RP as an unaffiliated Writing Staff, or in character as one of your wrestlers (in which case, feel free to suggest your hated rival be scripted to lose a lingerie strip match). Once everyone has made a suggestion the GM announces a provisional show schedule. I think the process would take around a week in real time.
2) Locker Room - Players RP their character reactions to the schedule, and can petition the GM for changes if they wish. Any backstage interaction can play out now, and if they have spare time, players can start plotting their matches with each other. The GM will have to announce when the locker room segment is over and the finalised match schedule will begin. Again, I guess this would take about a week.
3) The Show - In the manner of a Friction PPV, the GM can set individual threads up for the matches and skits. For practical reasons these would need to be played through simultaneously (which has the drawback of meaning your characters wonâ€t know what happened earlier in the show, but I think itâ€s a necessary compromise). As one post = one minute, a match should only need around twenty posts (allowing for the other player to consent or challenge whatâ€s being narrated). Even so, I reckon the Show segment might take 3-4 weeks to complete.
If this RPG can have its own section on the forums, it could probably be run though Booking Committee and Locker Room threads pretty effectively. Basic public interactions everyone would see / hear about can be done through the Locker Room (I.e. relatively self-contained posts). I guess lengthier interactions would be in their own thread. And of course, any secretive plotting and politicking can be done by PM (so you never know who has done sneaky deals with management to bolster their career).
Although the base rules are for a tabletop RPG I think some elements will actually work better online (namely, being able to play out all a weekâ€s matches simultaneously, and being able to scheme via PM).
If everyone likes the name Anime Wrestling Entertainment we can try and set up a space in the alternative section.

Re: RPGs, Collaberation and Kayfabe
Well, everyone gets to have one experienced wrestler, plus enough rookies to make up the numbers.
The manual suggests 15 rookies to fill up the promotion. However, I only have 3-4 potential players for this right now, so that would leave each player with 4-5 rookies, which feels a bit too much. Personally I would have thought you would only want to RP 3-4 wrestlers at most, any more than that it would be a chore to keep track of them.
So the short answer is "as many as you feel like (probably 3-4)". If the promotion ends up short on player wrestlers, the GM can create some NPC girls to make up the numbers.
I think we'd only have to put a cap on the number of created characters if Tat was playing.

Re: RPGs, Collaberation and Kayfabe
I didn't mean it! Create all you like. The game needs a talent pool anyway, as characters will actually age (or, at least, slowly build up injuries to the point their wrestling is severely impaired).
I wonder if it would be worth using somthing like [url=http://www.muchgames.com/games/anime-face-maker-3:3pbia6u8]Anime Face Maker[/url:3pbia6u8] to get graphical representations of the characters. As there are a few to make, and it might be easier than a pic trawl. (and you could make the appearance match the bio, rather than the other way around).
