Magic the Gathering

Just felt like checking if there are any nerd who are man enough to admit they played magic, i used to play a few years back with me m8s, it was fun.

I have two huge stacks. Never played. I bought the stuff at a yard sale and never figured out how to play it.

I gave up that crack a year ago.

I've been playing since revised edition myself. Though I haven't regularly played/bought in years but I still have my decks and every once in a wile I'll buy a pack of a new set or play a few games with friends. Been to some tournaments and release parties though.

I stopped playing around the end of 10th.

Read the M'10 rule changes recently though and I just can't wrap my mind around waterfall combat. Or the fact that mogg fanatics went from OP to mostly useless.

I tried, I really did....but I was in over my head around the time I bought my second card, and realized that after days of reading it, the rulebook, watching other matches, and learning all I could........................

I had no idea what the fuck the game was about or what anything did.

So I bought a Sonic Comic and left.

yeah, MTG kind of turned into an arms race after while. Each new set that came out wasn't about adding to the flavor of the game but breaking the game more than the previous set broke it. I remember we went to a type I tourney once and it was still mostly people using type II decks. my friend busted out a card from Ice Age and the guy looked at it and said "That's too much text, I am just going to shatter it because I am lazy." and it was a fricken jeweled amulet.

though... should have smacked my friend for using a jeweled amulet ...
