Lu Zhou Yi vs. Nikolette Tessla

Nikolette could eel the strength being drained from her as the chokehold continued to be applied. She couldn't move her left arm and she wasn't sure if trying to free her right warm was worth the strength. She wasn't completely out out of it yet. Though she would prefer not to be on her back, her legs were completely free. She lifted them up and slammed them down to try and jostle Yi enough from the shock to get her to at least loosen the hold.

Maroon eyes watched as those legs raised then fell to the ground, sending a bit of a shock through her hold. The weakest link in the hold, Yi's left arm on Nikolette's right, was weakened the most, to the point she resorted to using her hand to grasp what she could of Nikolette's arm. Her choke hold loosened, but ultimately was quick to find it target again... there were only so many places Nikolette's head could have gone in a few fractions of a second. Still, not a syllable was spoken from the historian to the mechanic, even as Yi worked to regain control of the Serbians' free arm.

Nikolette used the loosening of her right arm to try and yank it away. It was all she needed really. Pulling her head down even an inch was all that she could hope for. Her arm would then go to Yi's right arm to keep her from tightening the choke. She hoped that sxhe could get a breather out of this at least and even if Yi tried to pull her arm off she would tresist. She would once again try and lift her legs up to send another shock through them. She had to admit that she was definitely tired. Yi was not having to do much work and Nikolette was really working hard.

A gasp was given as the second bounce again shook the choke hold. Yi's legs kept strong on Nikolette's left. That left hand moved to grasp Yi's own right, to fight Nikolette's strength, two arms to one. Unfortunately, the Chinese woman couldn't out power the Serbian woman. Very slowly, her arm was coming loose of the choke hold. Her right hand, which had been a fist, slowly opened against the strain.

Nikolette gasped when the choke was free. But getting air was only the first part of getting free. After a few moments she threw her head backwards, hoping to slam it into Yi. She knew how well the last one worked and she hoped that she could use this to finally break free from Yi.

The slam caught her chin, and forced the historian's choke hold to break entirely. She attempted to fall backwards and get away from the Serbian fully. It was now time to get a pair of those cuffs. Yes. The next hold she landed would be the last of this fight. Luckily, the cuffs were not far from their current position.

Nikolette was going to take a gamble. SHe wanted to roll away and catch her breath but she knew the element of surpise might never come again. She When Yi released her hold, Nikolette turned her body and with one hand reached intoher shirt. She would pull out the cuffs while trying to gab Yi's with her other hand. If she could, she would yank it back towards her and slap the cuffs on one wrist.

Her tumble away had been cut extremely short as she was yanked back by the arm. Yi had thrown herself into the tumble to get away and at the hand cuffs across the ring, so being stopped so suddenly was a bit confusing. Before she could look back to see how she was being held (and thus how to escape it), she felt metal hit her wrist in the form of a cuff. Eyes widened by the sudden change in how this match would go down from here forward. The historian's right hand would grasp the second cuff so that it could not be applied to her left hand without wrenching its freedom from her. A twist of that right hand would give her its freedom, and her escape would be complete. Now she had a pair of handcuffs with one cuff on her right wrist. There were a few ways she could turn this to her advantage, but could she manage any of those strategies against Nikolette?

When Nikolette felt Yi wrench her cuff free from her she grunted. She panted heavily, her fatigue letting Yi pull away fairly easily. She was fine with letting Yi take the cuff away but she wasn't ready to giv up just yet. As Yi would try and get away, Nikolette would reach for Yi's legs and simply try and yank Yi back a little bit, hard enough to try and get her onto her back. If she could pull this off, she would dash forward, even trying to step on Yi to daze her and leap past the historian to make a dive for the second pair of cuffs.

This would be the second time she found herself struck with something she had not been expecting. Once again eyes would widen as she was drug back to the ground, hitting the mat hard on her stomach, huffing as the collision forced the air out of her lungs. She tried to clamber to get her knees under her so she could get up and to the second pair of handcuffs, but then the boot fell into her back, and sent her into the mat again, forcing a grunt from her, the first noise she made this whole match.
