Gail Hatzis vs Nikolette Tessla

The AFW sure is a big place. Almost big enough to frighten people away from fighting in it. Not that Gail would ever be one of those people.

Gail had just put on her purple one-piece costume and was about to go on out when she remembered something. At which point she promptly took a picture of herself in her costume and made a mental note to put it online later.

The audience cheered at her, but she payed little notice to this, giving nobody in the crowd more than a look and more than once slapped someone out of her way.

She walked into the ring with her standard arrogant smirk and waited for her opponent to show up.

Nikolette bounced on her heels backstage. It was her first match since coming back from her concussion. Although she had made her case against Kelly, she knew that she needed some in ring experience before she fought her blonde nemesis. She was fortunate that she was getting to fight a rookie. Unfortunately, she didn't know anything about the new girl. Except her name and height and weight and country of origin and what she looked like. She checked out Gail's profile and when she saw something, she never forgot it. But none of that told her how she wrestled so Nikolette was in the dark.

But Nikolette set those thoughts aside as [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igJAJV-ckIk:uxog61h5]her music[/url:uxog61h5] began to play. She definitely knew she had more experience and that should count for something. The former mechanic burst out of the backstage area with Kelly's megaphone still in hand and a bright grin on her face.



Nikolette lifted up the megaphone and hit the siren button, letting it echo through the arena for a few seconds before she stopped the loud wailing and brought the megaphone to her lips. "Howdy y'all!" Her thick Serbian accent boomed through the megaphone and the crowd cheered. She nodded and slapped some hands with her free arm before sliding into the ring. Nikolette hopped up and handed the ref her megaphone and construction hat and then looked at Gail. She stepped forward and extended her hand.

"Welcome to the AFW. Hope you're ready for some stiff competition. I ain't gonna go easy on ya just cause you're a rookie!"

What is that outfit, a janitor? Or a freaking construction worker?

Gail took the welcome with extreme disdain, "Hpmm... Coming from some janitor, I don't think I could tell the difference if you were holding back anyways. Hope you brought a wash cloth to clean yourself up after the match."

This girls stupid happy attitude reakky ticked her off too, more than such trash normally would. Without anything else to say to Nikol, Gail headed to her corner with an unpracticed fighting stance, waiting for the bell.

Nikolette watched with her hand held out as Gail began to verbally attack her. As her hand slowly dripped as Gail continued on. Nikolette's cheeks began to flush and by the time Gail was finished, her jaw was about as far down as her body.

"I'm... I ... I ain't no janitor!' Nikolette said, recoiling from the girl's words. "I'm gonna kick yer butt extra good for that!' She said as she clenched her fists and stormed back to her corner. She tugged on the ropes to stretch and then turned around to face Gail with a scowl on her face.

When the Bell rang, Nikolette couldn't help herself. She was going to overwhelm Gail and charged at her, looking to aim a flurry of punches at the rookie.

"What the... GAHH"

Gail was completely unprepared by the fast barrage Nikol threw at her, trying to block as many hit as she could, but she wasn't really prepared for defending such an onslaught. She fell down to the ground near Nikol, groaning, trying to get her back with at least one punch on her legs to do something, but it wasn't nearly as powerful or accurate as Gail would like it to be because of her position.

"Ughnn... Goddamn janitor, I'll show you when I get back up!"

Nikolette smiled when her opening flurry of punches did more than just catch Gail off guard. It also put the uppity rookie down on her butt when a good one connected. Nikolette was feeling good and adrenaline started pumping through her blood. Nikolette was on her toes when Gail threw her awkward fist. The mechanic tried to snatch the wrist out of the air and hold it firm.

"Let me help ya!" If Nikolette could get hold of Gail's wrist, she would try and pull the girl up into a knee to the gut.

"I don't need your help you- GAH!"

Gail was knocked back a decent amount by her knee, stunning her, after which you couldn't do much but glare angrily at her opponent and try to recover before Nikol pulls off another barrage.

This janitor girl was a lot better than hse looked, but Gail certainly wasn't going to let some working girl get the best of her.

Nikolette's smile remained when she drove her knee deeply into Gail's stomach. It felt good to shut the girl up but the match was just beginning. She knew if she didn't keep putting pressure on Gail, she'd probably have to keep listening to her. Nikolette threw herself at Gail, looking to club her back down to the mat with a hard swinging clothesline.

Gail didn't have much of a plan to get back into a position where she could do something, even though she was aware of Nikol closing in on her. She managed to recover in time to dodge, but not enough to avoid the clothesline fully, resulting in some pain on her side, but least she was standing and ready to counter with a much better aimed punch than before.

"No way a janitor going to take me down!"

Nikolette watched Gail try and duck out of the way, but it didn't seem to quite work out the way the girl expected as Nikolette's arm slammed into Gail's side. But, what it did do was buffer some of her momentum, making Nikolette stumble as she tried to avoid tripping up over Gail.

The awkwardness also left Nikolette open for a sharp punch. It threw Nikolette off course and she grabbed herself, grunting loudly from the force of the blow as she stumbled away and tried to put some distance between her and Gail inc ase she lost her balance and fell over.
