Its not like their parents made them do it, they get ad revenue of some kind from somewhere. But either way, if they didn't care and didn't want to deal with it, they wouldn't maintain the forums in the first place.

I'm also still in the workaround business. It agree it has something to with our IP's since, like others, my cell phone accesses the site fine when I'm not connected to my network.There was even a time when Hotspot Shield wasn't doing the job. Working now though....unless I just jinxed myself.

503 means temporary server down, usually they're just updating and its down for a little while. Although apparently 2 weeks+ is also a little while.

502 means the server crashed from being overloaded.

Basically, informe is stupid.

Still using a proxy website and my neighbor's internet when I want to see what's up in chat. Can't wait for this issue to be resolved. Such first world problems. Much inconvenience.

So nothing from informe, still a problem, and as far as I van tell the last time informe was heard from was 2013. If I had to guess, I'd say informe is abandoned, and this problem is permanent. I don't know what your options are for backing up the whole db, but we could maybe check into that.
