"THE Cyclops" Vs. Mai Nagasawa (Complete)

Backstage in the locker room, the girl who called herself Summer Summers was getting ready backstage, a pair of red aviators on her eyes that she would carefully remove from her face. Knowing she could not open her eyes because Scott couldn't open his eyes and that meant she couldn't either or else her Optic Blasts would probably hurt someone. She shut her eyes tightly as she removed her shades and struggled to fit herself inside the tight red spandex, getting her visitor on immediately when she did.

"Go time." She muttered as she fitted her gloves and boots on before storming her way towards entrance stage. Trying to look as hardened and stoic as possible, flexing her chin like she had a firm square jaw.

Part of her felt kind of nervous about her debut... Anxiety was getting to her as she made her way outside. It made her think back to something Scott once said: "Hey, it's okay... I'm Cyclops. I've been on TV" Summer nodded to herself like she had just given good advice to herself thanks to the Scott Summers. She knew she was in safe hands and could not go wrong.

"Cyclops' Theme" would play throughout the arena in front of a roaring crowd who would look on at the stage with flashing neon lights before a small framed girl stepped out confidently on the stage, her eyes hidden by her rid visor. She felt so cool. She strolled towards the ring with purpose in her step, rolling herself inside the ring she went over to ask for a mic and was granted one, standing in the center of the ring she addressed the crowd.

"People of Japan, I am a foreigner hailing from North America intending to be beacon of unity for this nation and opening their eyes so they no longer look down upon the mutants of this world! Both literal and metaphorical!" Summer would rave into her mic while the crowd looked on in utter confusion as to what the girl was getting at.

"Your society is a strict one that looks down upon non-conformers, outsiders and foreigners but...I... THE CYCLOPS am the spearhead of Xavier's dream that their can be co-existence between humanity and mutants or..." She started to do air quotes. "People who just don't fit in... Much like how the majority of this society looks down on westerns because they are obnoxious and not passive. "

Summer threw her hand up like she was trying to gather people in. "But its okay! The overly passive and the obnoxious can still co-exist happily without being snide behind eachother's back! Join me Japan, and I will show you the error of your ways! Let me help you accept the mutants of every-corner of your society!!!" Summer would rave happily, puffing out her chest, flexing her chin with her hands on her hips like she was doing the classic triumphant super hero pose! Fully expecting the people to side with her views. Her words surely being enough to rally them.

Mai tugged on her silver body suit and brushed her bangs out of her eye as she checked the mirror. She was finally back after a long hiatus. After her disastrous match with Hoshii and her involvement with Seraphim, she needed more than ever to just get away from the AFW. She went back to her roots and did her idol thing, working the conventions and touring on OtakuAir.

But, as much as she loved her life as an otaku, she also knew she needed to wrestle. More than ever, her fans were asking when she would wrestle again, even after cutting a new album AND staring in the latest anime craze, This Mew's for Yuu!

But when she decided to come back, she knew that she might have some ring rust. Thankfully she was put against a girl who was only described as an "energetic and enthusiastic rookie" That was perfect! Though, Mai sort of thought it might also be a little bit of a smack to her ego. But, she only had one win so far... even if it WAS against CHigusa... But she'd fought all her opponents quite well and two of her losses came against girls of questionable reputation, the other was an undefeated juggernaut!

She pushed that aside as she walked up and readied herself for the match. It seemed her opponent was already trying to psyche up the crowd. Sort of. Whatever she was doing, it had the people kind of booing but also kind of ... not. Mai frowned. It was one thing to be a bad girl, but another to be both insulting and not insulting. No matter what you did, you had to stir the crowd up and bring them to life!

Mai adjusted her ears and fluffed her tail, then she put on her headset. "Now, now now!" Her voice echoed from the arena though she was still backstage. "I think you are not giving us enough credit!" The crowd cheered, Mai's voice was unmistakeable. "Japan is one of the most tolerant societies on the planet, after all, who is more of an outcast, a disregarded freak of nature than the Otaku? And Japan.... LOVES OTAKUS!"

Mai burst forth from the backstage entrance in a blaze of pyrotechnics and raised her arm in the air. Her voice filled the arena as she began to sing the hit off her newest album, OTAKAWAII. Her voice was magical and she sung and danced her way to the ring as a spotlight hovered over her and poppy music accompanied her. It was great, and she felt like she belonged.

When she finished, she hopped into the ring and threw a peace sign at Summer. She then winked as she shifted her weight from one foot to the other. She liked to see a girl in costume. Even more that she thought maybe the girl was really getting into a role. This talk of mutants and such, she had heard about it. Over in Japan, western comics were just starting to become popular but Mai was the Otaku Queen and that meant that she had to be on the ball no matter what culture's geeks she was dealing with.

"So, you're a mutant, are you? Well, I hope that means you came prepared to fight. I'm Mecha Neko Mai and my powers are fierce!" She said as she stretched in her corner. "And you don't have Charles Xavier watching your back OR my mind HERE, so be prepared to lose, X-Man!" Mai glanced sideways at the crowd and blushed. "WOman..." She added and smiled cutely.

Summer looked around frantically when she heard the voice echoing within the arena. "WHAT IS THIS!? MAGNETO!? -No...." The voice was that a young woman so it could not be the master of magnetism. Then who!? It clearly wasn't some telepath inside her head like usual, Summer could tell everyone else heard the voice speak and defend Japan's society as being tolerant of The Mutant *slash* Outcast folk!

Summer's head whipped to the side to face the stage as it exploded with a blaze of pyrotechnics where a lone girl with animal ears emerged, singing some song in her native Japanese language. Summer leaned forth, gritting her teeth while flexing her chin with her fist raised towards Mai. shaking it. Menacingly. Much like Scott would do as he watched Jean getting kidnapped or something!

Summer stood firm as Mai hopped into the ring and threw a peace sign and winked. Summer furrowed her brow. She did not trust this singer fox/cat mutant.

"OHHH!" Summer gasped almost excitedly. "MECHA NEKO MAI." That sounded dangerous. What was more exciting as this girl confirmed she had powers! "A Mutant!?!?" Summer thought. Her eyes lit up and she interrupted Mai and immediately ran over to grab her hands

"OH MY GOD!" Summer yelled. "You're a Mutant too! Can't you see Mecha Neko Mai! They are pitting us against eachother in some kind of Mutant...Death game!" Summer leaped back from Mai and put her fist to her bosom.

"Join me and my school for the gifted, Mecha Neko Mai and together we will create harmony for Japan for a world that hates and fears us Mutants... After we raise money to buy a Mansion and a Cherry Red Convertible for myself.... NOW! What say you!?"

Mai squeaked when Molly ran towards her and grabbed her wrists. She maintained her cheerful smile, but paused for a moment. She was used to her fans getting quite friendly but if the only thing the cosplayer squeezed was Mai's wrists, then Molly was tame in comparison. Mai couldn't help but chuckle as Molly whooshed away as quickly as she came in. She lifted her gloved hand to cover her mouth. She was definitely into her part and it made Mai tingle with excitement.

"I'm afraid that I'm a neko for all the people. It wouldn't do to have me cooped up in some school." She said and waved her finger at Molly. "And, if you do good here, then you'll have money for that car of yours soon enough."

Mai then took a determined fighting stance, with her fists in front of her. "But you cannot hope to afford such luxuries until you prove yourself in BATTLE DOME!" It was hard to say without laughing, but Mai was a professional and she managed.

When the bell rang, Mai charged forward, with every intention of starting off the fight with a high kick to Molly's face. She had assumed that since the girl was in the ring, she at least knew HOW to wrestle and was just playing up the act like Mai was.

Summer's head drooped at Mai's decline. "A shame." She said in a stoic manner, preventing herself from going "Aww" as Mai waved a finger at her. She was so pretty and cute and... Must remain stoic and serious. Summer reminded herself just before Mai got into a fighting stance.

"H-Huh? Oh yeah! Lets do this, Silver Fox!" Yelled Summer as she got her hands up. Her eyes suddenly going wide at the mention of Battle Dome. Biting her lip as her eyes sparkled in excitement. Molly was starting to come back alive and she felt happy.


Finally the bell rang and Molly froze when Mai charged her. Her eyes going wide as the neko dashed forth and nailed her with a kick straight to the face. "-NKK!" A teeth clattering smack would echo throughout the arena as Summer failed to get her hands up, taking the kick at full force as the crowd gasped, the girls head wobbling on her shoulders with glazed eyes before she dropped to the mat, legs suspend in the air before they too flopped to the mat, lay sprawled out and shaking her head.

"Uhh..."

Mai expected some sort of reaction. She expected Molly to try and block, or dodge, or even.... well, she expected anything but to stand there and eat it. Did she really NOT know how to wrestle? Mai frowned and she was worried that she might end this poor, deluded girl's career before it even began.

The grey-clad fighter looked down at Molly and threw herself forward, splashing against the downed girl's body and laying across her in a pin position. One of Mai's hands slid up as she ran her gloved fingers through the visored girl's hair. The Mecha Neko then leaned close so her face was near Molly's ear. She had a plan if the girl really DIDN'T know how to wrestle. She wasn't going to just humiliate the Molly. Maybe Mai could convince her that she might not be cut out for wrestling AFTER the match, but right now, she had a job to do and no matter how flamboyant their personalities were, the crowd didn't come to see a one-move match!

Dazed by the blow she took from Mai's toned legs, Summer could do nothing but stare at the shiny lights above her through her visor as Mai move in and spalshed herself down on the so-called mutant.

"P'Aaaaaah!!" Summer gasped as her slim abomen was compressed by Mai's taut body, making The Cyclops' limbs jet into the air before flopping to the mat, Summer's tongue loling out a bit, heavily dazed.

"Mh.." She groaned, her eyes twitching as she felt Mai's soft gloved fingers running through her hair, making the mutant's cheeks blush slightly, her body going rigiid as she felt the neko's face close to her ear, able to feel her breath against it.

Summer didn't know what to do, so instinctively as the pin was starting, she quickly tried to jerk and turn on her side with a violent squirm under Mai, trying to lay on her ribs. "Owwww..." She whimpered. Her face hurt.

Mai was going to let the pin count reach two but when she felt Molly jerk, she decided to use the opportunity. Mai rolled and deftly put herself into a kneeling position and yanked roughly on Molly's hair to force the girl to look upwards. Mai then looked down sternly at the girl and grinned.

"Nyahahahaha~!!" She bellowed, trying to do her best cat-themed evil anime laugh, even bringing her free hand up to her lips.

"Is THIS what the great Charles Xavier sends to BATTLE DOME!? I had no idea that you were so pathetic, X-WOman!" She said and then winked down at Molly. "I think that if you are so easily defeated, that I will torture you! For those who come to lay witness to these grand conflicts here in BATTLE DOME... DEMAND a worthy performance!"

Molly's face stung from the hard kick she took, though managing to turn herself over and break the pin, she found herself too stunned (among other things) to do anything against Mai and would wince and yelp as she her hair was yanked up, forcing her to look Mai in the eyes.

Summer looked on and just gasped at Mai's deep sinister laughter, hearing her dark evil words, Summer's jaw dropping at the mention of Professor X!

"You leave The Professor out of this!!" Summer shouted, glaring at her opponent, not even noticing the wink. Mecha Neko Mai just crossed the line! "We'll see about that!" Summer would retort. Taking a moment to think before she got an idea and would raise her hands up like she was giving up to the police.

"Okay you got me........... NOT!" She'd say, quoting Scott from the very first episode of X-Men as she would place her finger tips on both sides of her visors and yelled:

Summer shouted, opening her eyes wide while clinching her teeth tightly, swearing she could feel the heat and force from a powerful concussive blast emitting from her eyes that would no doubt send Mai flying back as she took the powerful blast at point blank range!

Mai tilted her head as she heard Molly speak, bemused by the girl's deep immersion into the part. A smile crept over her face as she waited for the girl. But then she screamed and Mai squealed.

"Aiiieee!" She said and put her free hand against her ear. "T-That was loud!" She frowned and then looked at Molly. It suddenly register what she had said. "Oh... Oh!' Her eyes widened and she let go of Molly's hair and used her powerful legs to throw herself backwards, flying through the air and landing on her back a few feet away from Molly.

Mai grunted when she hit the canvas, but it didn't hurt. Still, she grabbed face, making sure she could see through her spread fingers, trying hard not to giggle. "W-What power..." She groaned as her legs lifted up and fell back against the mat.
