Esther Savato-Howell vs Mai Nagasawa

Esther had not yet regained the balance or the energy to stay standing after throwing everything she had into that punch. She stumbled forward, barely catching herself on her hands and knees. That old familiar burn in her knuckles confirmed that she had struck home well before her rattled brain had caught up to what happened. She shook her head gently to avoid aggravating anything further while trying to regain some of her senses. She rose, slowly, and turned to see Mai's toned rear end lying across the ring. Shaking her hand out, Esther approached, huffing in pain and determination. She hated Mai. How would this league take her seriously if Esther could not pummel some anteater into submission! It was disgraceful that she had let the singer get that close to winning. If Mai had not made her way to her feet, she would try to circle around (She certainly wasn't AFRAID of those legs. Absolutely not. Esther Savato-Howell feared nothing, especially not some rodent.) and pull Mai up to her feet by her shoulders and drape her over the middle rope, placing her leg over Mai to choke her against it for the five seconds the referee would allow.

Mai was just starting to get to her feet when Esther grabbed her by the shoulder and threw her against the rope. Mai gasped as she was flung over it. Before she could even push up, her throat was closed off by Esther's foot against the back of her neck. She began to cough as she heard the ref count. She pushed as much as she could, but she was stuck. When the ref finally threatened Esther with disqualification, Mai flopped off the ropes and held her neck, gasping for air next to the ropes.

"Haah!" Esther roared with savage fury as she throttled Mai against the rope. It was gruesomely satisfying. She pushed the referee's patience to the limit, but, through tremendous self-restraint, let Mai fall before the disqualification. Esther snarled at the referee and waved her off dismissively. "You little rat!" She hissed in anger at the leggy idol as she yanked her back up to her feet by her hair. Pulling her to the corner, Esther would try to slam her face into the ring post. Then, she would aim to wrap her arms around Mai's belly and press herself into Mai's back before launching her back in a suplex.

Mai was too busy trying to catch her breath when Esther side stepped the ref and yanked her up by her long, silky locks. "Ahhhaaa!" She shrieked and was soon silenced by the turnbuckle smashing into her face. "Ugh!" She grunted, dazed from the bang, bang attack.

Before she could even recover, Mai found Esther's arms wrapped around her waist and the girl's chest pressed into her back. Mai's mouth opened but before she could make any kind of noise, she was lifted and slammed hard into the mat, groaning from the pain in her neck.

"Hmph!" Esther scoffed down at the annoying rodent. "Annoying little tapir." She rubbed her head gently before her eyes suddenly gleamed with evil intent. She stepped toward the rope and climbed to the top of the ring post. Cautiously rising atop it, she shook her hand out and crooked her fist up beside her head. With a roar of fury, she leaped off, aiming to deliver a punch right to Mai's head with her finisher, the Lightning Knuckle.

Mai groaned as she was suplexed hard into the mat. She rolled onto her side and brought her gloved hand rubbed her neck. She knew Esther had power in her fists, but she had upper body strength as well. She heard the rising buzz of the crowd as Esther climbed the ropes. Even though she had been cruel to the fan favorite mecha neko, the chance to see anyone fly through the air made them cheer with delight.

Still reeling from the hard suplex, Mai turned her body, her back against the canvas again as she stared up at the bright arena lights, only to have it shadowed by Esther's body. Her eyes widened but it was too late. She tried to wriggle away but all she managed to do was shift a little bit. Instead of her face,the blonde's fist crashed into her chest and Mai gasped deeply. She sucked in a breath as she felt paralyzed from the hard finishing move.

The diving punch didn't quite nail Mai's head as Esther had hoped, but instead slammed into the softer flesh of her chest (And then right into the firm rib cage.) but it seemed to have done the job. Esther hesitated for a beat, but then decided to hell with getting it right. "And stay down you damn gopher." She hissed before laying across Mai's chest and hooking one of her legs up for the pin.

Mai was still staring into space as Esther laid her beautiful body over Mai's taut frame. Her leg was hooked up and the ref began to count.

"One!"

Mai strained and pushed her hand against Esther's shoulder and gave a shove.

"Two!"

That didn't work. Mai lifted her free leg and kicked at the same time as she pushed on Esther's shoulder to barely kick out before the three count.
