Bringing Me Back?

Mamouru was not expecting Talia to open up right away. She figured there might be some yelling first but when she DID finally open, he definitely wasn't expecting to get kicked in the nuts. His eyes widened and he dropped instantly. Unfortunately, it wasn't the first time being kicked there and it never seemed to get any less painful.

He curled onto his side and watched Talia storm off. He got to his knees, still pushing his hands between his legs when Aurora came over to him. "Of course not." Mamouru growled and pushed up to one hand. He looked at Aurora sternly. "I don't think it is going to work out the way you envisioned, Aurora-san." He then sighed as he struggled to get to his feet. "I think it may be better if we part ways. If I stay around you, I'll only use you to hurt your sister. I've already used you too much. It was never my intention." He said. "I did enjoy our time together inside and outside the ring. It's a shame that you got hooked into all this. I think you're better deserving than it."

Even after everything that had happened, Aurora still wanted Mamouru to stay. At the very least, he seemed to know what had to be done to get by in this league. But as he explained to her the reason why they should part ways, Aurora really had nothing to answer with. "I...okay..." Her arms dropped to her sides and she stepped away from him. She wasn't sure what else she could say that was appropriate. "It...it was fun..." At times. "Thank you for the help...I wouldn't have gotten this far without you." Even if she had only had one match, Mamouru had done so much to train and prep her for Friction. "I guess...I guess I'll see you around sometime, right?"

Mamouru smiled at Aurora as she backed away. "I as well, Aurora-chan." He said and bowed. He then leaned forward and pushed his lips against hers, gently grabbing her shoulder for a brief kiss before pulling away. "Perhaps when things have cooled off a bit. I'll look forward to seeing you make some progress in the AFW." He nodded his head for one last quick bow before leaving her apartment.
