Bringing the Thunder

As the crowd settled down and prepared for the next match, a familiar theme began to play that had them instantly riled up again with a chorus of boos raining down upon the newest entrant to the arena. Lukretia Von Creuzfeldt, the dictatorial General Manager of Friction appeared wearing a luxurious red dress with a smile on her face. She looked slyly at the crowd and waved her hand dismissively. "I promise tonight I vill be short. I assure you I vant to see you as much as you vant to see me." She said and smiled a bit wider as the boos increased. "Of course, ze difference is I know zat you secretly do vant to see me." She added.

Spinning on her heels, she lifted her hand up towards the AFWTron and brought the microphone to her lips once more. "As you may know, if you have been paying attention, ve have been running a series of tournaments. All have fought quite valiantly, but so far only two have achieved victory." Up on the screen showed the picture of the Lightning Tournament winner Belinda Northman and the Tempest Tournament winner Gwendolyn DuPont Bettencourt. "Both of ze finals matches vere particularly interesting vith ze losing girls both putting in admirable efforts." Underneath the champs showed their respective opponents. Akiha Kosh and Gabbie Desjardin.

"So, to highlight this series und to give you something to enjoy, Ve have put togezher a Thunder match at Summer Slam. Zis vill be an over ze top Fatal Fourway match between all four of zese lovely und exciting fighters. So, please make sure to give them all healthy applause. It should be quite a thrilling match." Lukretia nodded. "Und, zat is all. Enjoy ze rest of the show. Guten Abend!" With that, Lukretia walked straight to the staging area and out of the cheering arena.
