Down Time

Lia was not interested in fighting Taylor if Akashi was not also willing to beat the tar out of her... that said, Akashi's sudden turnaround was still frustrating, though Lia would back away before she could show it, stumbling forward only when Akashi dragged her back to the forefront.

When Taylor walked off, as far as Lia was concerned, that was that. She had no qualms with Taylor, but had long since become jaded to the idea of bringing a serial punk back to the side of sweetness and light with just a smile and a hug... Akashi did not share such cynicism. Akashi's direct approach impressed Lia, it reminded her a bit of her younger, dumber self... more accurately, how her younger, dumber self saw herself, not necessarily accurately. Lia gave a wicked grin or two to back up Akashi's 'threats.'

The approach worked, though. Taylor was coming back to the table, presumably for another round of awkward insults. Akashi seemed determined to make this work, especially even so far as to threaten Lia. Lia merely whispered back coolly, "I don't fuck up operations." All that needed to be said, though the sudden yank back and forth on her adrenalin left her just a bit testy about suddenly being threatened, but she had rode Taylor's quip about knowing nothing all night. No sense stopping now. "Wouldn't even know how, really."

As the trio toasted, Lia consciously grabbed a nearly empty bottle. She was feeling just queasy enough that a bit more alcohol would probably have her returning it all to the bar table, so she joined in to the toast with a few fake gulps, somewhat amazed by Taylor's sudden boozing tenacity...

The results of which quickly became apparent, "Eh, you'd take me anywhMMM." Lia yelped as she was pulled into Taylor's needlessly showy kiss. "Weelll now, Ms. Two Beers and I'm Out Of The Closet. Ya know, I used to kiss like that. Lemme show you..." Lia would grab Taylor back over and plant an almost comically exaggerated kiss on Taylor's lips, an expedition that spread all around Taylor's lips and even ended with faint licking across Taylor's lips, a slightly wobbly display meant to show off rather than please those involved. "Mmm... Still, not blueberry...y... enough."

"Gacht! JEeez!"

Taylor spluttered and pawed at Lia's face. "Man, is that ALL people do for fun in jaaaapan?" She coughed, and washed away the taste of Lia's mouth with another half a beer.

After a moment spent recovering she gave Lia a queer look. "You're weeiird. You act like a total dick, alll the time. Why are YOU AFRAID OF?!" Taylor said in a very loud dramatization of the way Akashi said it to her a moment earlier. She started to say something else, but she had a delayed reaction to her Akashi impression, which she found utterly hilarious. She burst out laughing, way too loudly, for almost a full minute.

And why didn't Taylor ever drink much? Oh, right, this. She got drunk very quickly, and got... rather loopy.

She giggled for bit while her laughter coasted to a stop, but then suddenly she stopped dead. She looked directly at Lia, deadly serious, and jabbed a finger at her.

"Hey." She said. "Can you do a backflip? Stand up, right now. Everyone. We're totally going to do backflips off...this..." She pounded on the table part of the booth to test it's sturdiness. "C'mon it'll be great. UP!"

Akashi was glad that she had mostly diffused the situation and that the toast went mostly as expected. Actually all things considered it went very well. She grinned as the two bantered back and forth and her eyes even widened as Taylor suddenly planted a kiss on Lia. Even as she was about to hoot and holler, she watched Lia's rebuttal and was shocked. "H-hey now!" She exclaimed. "That doesn't seem very fair at all." She slammed her drink down in a pouty manner but quickly recovered as a small giggle fit ensured, Akashi joining in though she didn't know what exactly was so funny.

But then Taylor made a dramatic challenge to Lia. One that the drunk sumo wasn't going to pass up. "No way!" She said as though she might just step up and be the fun police. "That's not going to happen while I'M here!" She declared and rose up, pounding her fist on the table. "Cause I'm going first!" She yelled out and climbed onto the table. She turned around so her back was facing the crowd and she looked down at the girls and gave a V sign. "Don't be jealous now!" She said as she swung her arms back and forth, bending her knees before leaping backwards off the table.

Akashi executed an amazing ninety degree turn before slamming hard onto her back. She landed with a crash but her face had a wide grin on it even though she arched her back and was groaning. "Oh... shit..." She muttered as she tried to roll onto her side.

"HAAH!" Taylor laughed obnoxiously at Akashi.

She hopped up onto the table herself with uncommon dexterity for someone more than a little inebriated. She steadied herself for a second and then jumped, turning a neat 3/4 backflip and landing on Akashi in something of a moonsault. She didn't dig her knees in like she usually would. She didn't actually want to kill her. At least not without it being official with cameras and spectators and all.

Another round of laughter and Taylor pushed herself back so that she was straddling Akashi's body, sitting on her chest facing her feet. "You're comfy. Did I already say that?" She said, a little too loudly. She turned herself around so that her knees pressed down on Akashi's shoulders, in a schoolgirl pin position. She leaned down and let her hair dangle in Akashi's face.

"I'm a psy-chic. I see this in your future, but in a ring and with someone counting to threeeeee." She drew a box around them in the air with her finger and then held up three fingers in Akashi's face. Then she found herself in the grips of a giggle fit.

Lia arched an eyebrow at Taylor's impersonation of Akashi for a second before joining her in raucous laughter that faded into chuckles, then nervous silence, then back into sympathy laughter, then genuine laughter again as Taylor did not stop laughing.

Just as Lia was about to respond to Taylor's challenge, Akashi cut in, leaping off the table and planting on the floor gracelessly. Taylor managed to leap atop Akashi with an amazing amount of skill for someone so wobbly.

"Well, if it holds the sumo, it'll hold me!" Lia would scoot from her seat and pop herself onto the table, bounding to her feet and quickly leaping off, "Suddenly BANZAAAAAI!" Lia would yell, flinging herself at Taylor in a body press, aiming to sandwich the girl between her and Akashi and with little else in the way of planning. "DENIED! THE RABBIT OUT OF NOWHERE STEALS THE MATCH!" Lia would exhale loudly, simulating the roar of an approving crowd! "THE RABBITS WIN THE PENNANT! THE RABBITS WIN THE PENNANT!"

Akashi moaned on the ground, realizing what a stupid thing she had done. She had heard Taylor's laugh and expected it. She would have laughed too and was partially laughing as she had a goody grin on her face, her breasts heaved and wobbled as she half winced and half chuckled, one action fueling the other. Akashi looked up only to see the blur coming at her and her eyes widened. She folded upward, stopped by Taylor's body and slammed back down, gasping in pain. Worse than the move was the fact that she was caught completely unaware of it. Her eyes were widened and she pawed at Taylor's sides.

She was thankful when Taylor moved upwards and looked up, glaring at Taylor but smirking as she tried to catch her breath. "I've ... been told that.... before..." She mused as well as she could.

Akashi watched Taylor's display and lifted her arm up to wrap it around Taylor's neck. Not hard, just enough to pull the punk close. "We'll see how tough that move is when I know it's coming." She would whisper not realizing how close their faces would be. "And I haven't even shown you my best move." She added. She was about to do something else when she heard Lia's cry and pushed aside Taylor's hair just in time to see Lia flying through the air.

"S-Shit!" She cried out but it was too late. She'd gasp again as she was crushed under two girls.and this time was clawing at anything she could just to get them off her. She was starting to be in real pain, pain that wasn't just funny but painful. She furrowed her brow in anger but she couldn't move under the both of them.

There was a split second where Taylor saw Akashi seeing something that seemed alarming to Akashi, which alarmed Taylor. Then she felt Lia crash into her from behind, her weight coming down on her back and forcing her to jackknife forward so that her head smacked into Akashi's. "Owwww..."

She flopped to the side and wriggled her way free of the heap, one hand on her head. Aside from the dull throb coming from her forehead, her head had recently gone for a little swim. The effects of pounding relatively large amounts of alcohol were starting to catch up to her. Still she stumbled to her feet and looked around for a moment to find the pile of Lia and Akashi.

Good decisions were a tricky thing for Taylor. She had a hard time using the self control necessary to make them when she was sober. Half drunk, they were marginally more difficult. She didn't think anything of it when she grabbed a nearby chair, swung it around, and swatted Lia across the back with it.

Lia rolled off Akashi as Taylor wriggled free, still raising her arms in the air, cheering her imagined victory, oblivious to the chair Taylor wielded.

It slammed into her back, knocking Lia hard against the floor of the bar. She yelped in pain, lying on the floor and clutching her back. "AH! Owowowow... what the hell... Ow!"

Akashi gritted her teeth as Taylor's head slammed into her own. She fell backwards in a daze and then grinned. "Ha!" She said raising a hand as she felt Taylor crawl away. "Too bad you hit the hardest part of my body!" She declared as she raised her fist in triumph. Her hand then dropped and she felt Lia's head, patting it down and running her fingers through it. "Heheh..." She snickered. "Since you're down there." She muttered before rolling to her side and slowly stumbling to her feet and allowing the two of them to get up.

As she shook away the cobwebs, Akashi saw Taylor brandish a chair and slam it into Lia's back. Her eyes widened but then she grinned and charged forward to try and clothesline Taylor back down to the ground.

There was always that moment of satisfaction that came after hitting something with some random heavy object. She looked up at Akashi with a smile and saw Akashi's arm arcing at her neck. She started to laugh, though she didn't know why it was funny... The impact threw her backwards far enough that she landed on her upper back with the rest of her body folded over. She flopped onto her stomach with a long groan. THAT hurt. She laughed once in mid groan.

"Maan, why'd you do that we're frieeeennds!" Taylor protested pushing up onto her feet with wobbly legs. "Friiiieeeeeeennnnnnds!"

She was smiling, just joking. She knew she was joking. But when she backed up to the booth they had occupied, with it's wealth of empty and partly-empty bottles, she unconsciously grabbed one and the next thing she knew she had winged it at Akashi. She grabbed another and lunged forward to swing it at Akashi's head, though her movements weren't quite so sharp as they had been and she didn't totally have her feet under her.
