Isa vs Alaina - Angel vs Amazon

For a moment Isa got worried that the tide of the match might be turning against her again, but luckily her own holds had apparently done enough damage to the Amazon that she wasn't ready to attack the blonde right away after her escape. Instead, the blonde got a warmly welcomed moment to recover and regroup herself, before eventually forcing herself to get back up again.

Alaina on the other hand was not showing any signs of needing to recover any more, but instead was boldly challenging her rookie opponent to another grapple. How badly she had lost the first one, ending up with knees striking her belly was still freshly in Isa's memory, and testing her own strength against the Amazon's for a second time did not really sound like a smart idea...

...but then again, she wasn't really one to turn down such challenge. And besides, Alaina's success with the previous one had to be attributed at least partly to the surprise factor, and it was a card Isa could try to play this time... So, as she was slowly closing in to Alaina the blonde wanted to appear taking it very carefully this time. "So, are you going to try fooling me again?" the Angel queried with a slightly insulted tone, right before locking up with the Amazon another time. But this time, Isa's plan was to push with full force right from the start, hoping to catch the veteran off guard!

"W-what? No no no!" Alaina said as she shook her head all over, Isa succeeding in pushing her back! One step turned into three before Alaina daughter feet in, doing her best to tense up and put everything she had into halting Isa's surprise progress! Alaina was trembling as she tried her best to push back hoping that it wasn't too little, too late!

Alaina seemed to get surprised by Isa's question, which was signalling to the blonde that the Amazon had not viewed the events of their last lock-up in exactly the same way as Isa had. But regardless of whatever opinion Alaina had, Isa considered her question to had been a totally legitimate one. And even more so, because it just turned out to serve to increase the surprise effect the blonde was planning to take advantage of...

Isa's plan turned out to work perfectly, and for a moment the Angel was able to overpower the mighty Amazon! It was indeed a great feeling for the blonde, one that really boosted her confidence for now... But then their movement stopped, as Alaina started getting her own strength properly into the game, turning Isa's face into a grimace as she was desperately still trying to come up with additional power of her own.

But once again, Isa was getting a testimony of the Amazon's formidable strength, as slowly but surely Alaina managed to start pushing the blonde back. The Angel cried out in frustration as she had no other option than start taking steps back. The blonde was determined to try countering Alaina's strength the best she could, but despite that, her back was inevitably closing in to the corner...

Alaina grit her teeth, groaning as she kept forcing Isa back. She wanted to try to power her straight back into the corner where Isa wouldn't be able to move around much. The amazon wanted to flatten her against the turnbuckle then unleash some strikes against a foe who hopefully wouldn't be able to move out of the way! Alaina pressed up and once Isa was stuck she could keep hold with her arms and try to swing her knee up into Isa's abdomen three times to hammer some of the fight right out of her!

"Ya got fire Isa, but this ring is mine!" Alaina said as she began to try to land her knee strikes against Isa's abdomen.

Isa was once again getting evidence on just who she was dealing with in the ring tonight, as Alaina was powering her way on top out of their second round of lock-up. Despite the Angel's perfect start, the Amazon had managed to turn the tables around, proving that there was still a lot of work for the blonde to do if she wanted to compete evenly in a lock-up like this with the veteran. And Isa had to admit that it wasn't a surprise, but she was still a tad disappointed that her plan had not worked all the way through to get Alaina cornered.

The Angel grunted as her back finally hit the turnbuckle. Her desperate gaze surveyed once again Alaina's body, as if trying to find any weak spot on the Amazon's body at all. By now it was horrendously obvious that her own lower-body strength that she was so proud of couldn't compare to that of her opponent's, and the blonde was at a loss on ideas of what to do.

Alaina wasn't, however. The Amazon's knee pummeled into Isa's belly multiple times, sending the troubled Angel on her knees in front of the Amazon. But then, the blonde rememberd a move that Alicia Wells had trained her some time ago. She wasn't sure if she could make it, especially right after such a series of blows, but it had to be worth trying. So, Isa tried to wrap her arms around Alaina's legs, hoping to make her fall with a double leg takedown! If it proved to be successful, she could get an opportunity to try some scissorholds again once the Amazon would be grounded.

Alaina was ready to keep hammering Isa, but when her legs were grabbed and pulled she was taken by total surprise! Alaina fell back, letting out a moan as she landed on the back of her head! Alaina found herself stunned for a moment, laying flat on her back and cradling her head after the surprise fall she took!

Isa did manage to catch Alaina off guard an the amazon was down, wide open to further attacks by Isa! "Ugh.... damn it you pesky little.... ngh...." Alaina muttered under her breath, unhappy with herself for being caught off guard so easily! The amazon wanted to get up but right now she was still in a momentary daze leaving her at the mercy of the hungry rookie Isa!

Isa took a gamble with the double leg takedown. Her guts had just gotten hammered out of air, and Alaina was far from a light opponent easy to throw around. And as she wrapped her arms around the Amazon's mighty legs, the Angel could feel all her muscles, and it occurred to her that the Amazon could easily have some grueling scissors of her own...

But it paid off. Fabolously. Performing the takedown ended up being even somewhat easier than the blonde had hoped for, sending Alaina promptly to the mat. Clearly, the right technique was at play here... And apparently, the Amazon's head even took a proper hit too, as she was left laying there, voicing her discontent with Isa's actions.

The blonde pondered for a brief second how to continue, while Alaina's words were making her displeased for her own part. She had certainly done nothing that would have justified any name-calling! That was certainly against her kind and gracious nature. Thus, the Angel decided to leverage Alaina's predicament by boldly positioning herself on top of the Amazon, almost laying on top of her. Her thighs looked for the thinnest spot on the Amazon's waist before applying crushing squeeze, while her hands attempted to get hold of the veteran's wrists, in hopes of pressing them firmly down to the mat above her head!

And despite her panting, Isa had something to say. "I suggest you....watch your...language!"

Alaina had never been yelled at for saying the word damn before and now here torso was being squeezed by Isa's legs as the woman attempted to hold Alaina's hands down. Alaina grit her teeth as her torso felt the pain of the squeeze....

However she had no intention of staying like this. Alaina tried to push up with her arms, using her strength as much as she could while trying to buck her hips up, using her legs in an attempt to roll the two of them over! Her torso was still being crushed but Alaina wanted to free up her hands, and if she was able to do so she would be on top of Isa and have a wide open abdomen to punch to try to free her torso of Isa's crushing legs!

Granted, Alaina's words were far from the worst. By themselves, they were nothing that Isa would have minded too much. But under the current circumstances, the words that she chose happened to rub up the blonde the wrong way. Whether or not it was an accurate observation, Isa's instincts captured a hint of condescending attitude in them, and condescending attitude was something that the blonde had low tolerance for. Plus, she was the one who had just gotten on top...

However, the Amazon was determined to make the blonde's time on top to last for only a short while. Isa had been hoping for an extended period of keeping Alaina down, but her relative weakness with her upper body was soon raising its ugly head again. Or to be more exact, Alaina began powering her hands up despite of Isa's hard attempts of keeping them grounded. The Angel became so focused at trying to counter Alaina's strength that she was totally surprised as the Amazon suddenly bucked up, rolling the two right over!

Isa tried desperately to keep her holds efficient, and her legs were doing a decent job with that. Unfortunately, Alaina's biceps were making sure that there was no hope for the blonde of maintaining control over her arms. Thus, the Amazon's punch hit squarely its target. It was far from the first impact that had gotten delivered to the blonde's midsection so far in the match, and her endurance in that area was not good in the first place... So, Alaina got exactly what she wanted, released from the blonde's holds, leaving the Angel now trapped beneath the Amazon's body!

Alaina managed to secure her release, but she still had more work to do to keep a wrestler like Isa down for a moment to allow Alaina time to land more significant offense. The amazon raised both her fists overhead clasping them together before raining down a hard double axe handle strike onto Isa's abdomen! Alaina hoped that would take some fight out of the determined young woman, allowing Alaina to rise to her feet uncontested.

Isa had proven to have a lot of potential, and Alaina knew women like that were dangerous in the ring regardless of how much experience they had. Alaina was taking this fight seriously as she did every match she had inside the ropes. It was nothing personal, but Alaina was out to show everyone that she was a top wrestler in AFW, her goal to be the top.
