Character image directory?

There is really no "Easy" answer here. A directory would be far too much work for something that isn't an issue that comes up that much, most new people aren't going to be interested in going through some claim process, and getting every member to put in a thread the people they've claimed just makes a big thread that nobody is going to want to go through.

Best you can do is just set up a thread and ask "DOES ANYBODY OWN THIS BITCH!?"

and see what responses you get.

Meanwhile, if your really worried somebody will use your generic cute anime girl image, maybe don't use that generic cute anime girl image? Maybe get a job and money and find a cheap deviant art artist and commission some character art instead.


Either way, just don't start putting up a WIP profile with nothing but a picture and yelling "I CLAIM HER FOR POSSIBLE FUTURE USE", cause that be just an asshole thing to do.

No no, it wouldn't be a big thread! We would stick someone in charge of it.

Person A is using Naruto, so they post in the face claim thread they're using him.

Mod in charge of the thread copies the character name Naruto, adds it to the main post, and deletes Person A's post, freeing up clutter.

There would be one post with a list of names, that's it.

It is also officially against the rules!

I think I could possibly be fine with a hashtag listing. It would require the least amount of work for people involved and has the potential for the most success.

It wouldn't work for original images though, but generally speaking we're mostly concerned wiht non original pics/characters, I think.
