Finishing moves:
*** = Brutal (Usually reserved for matches that call for it or personal grudges)
Until You Give – Once the opponent is lying on their stomach, Miyu will position over them, with her feet between their legs, she will interlock the opponent’s legs with hers and fall backwards on to them, lifting their legs off the ground and then she will slide back off of the opponent as she grabs their arms and pulls them with hers, leaving the opponent inverted, with their head being pressed against the mat by their own body weight, all the while stretching them painfully.
*** Breath of Life – Ironically named, this move is Miyu’s most direct method to end a match. When the opponent is lying on the mat near one of the turnbuckles, Miyu climbs to the top and jumps at full strength towards them, tucking her legs towards her chest during the jump and letting them explode forward just at the moment of impact with the opponent’s chest. Simple, but extremely effective if it hits.
Characteristics
Appearance:
Personality:
Miyu is an overall positive person when it comes to fighting, after all competition was and always will be a natural part of her life. She is very curious and loves to find and abuse all the little unnecessary freedoms in her life. She is pretty upfront when she doesn’t enjoy a person’s company, but has high respect for anyone she considers a competitor. One of the main issues that Miyu has retained from childhood is her lack of following logical paths. She enjoys unknown territory and will seek it out more often than not.
In the ring Miyu is a ball of energy looking for a way to escape; she usually starts by getting to know her opponent’s personality and techniques before trying her best to take control of the match and exploding in what can tend to be a highly volatile and painful way if the opponent is caught unaware. In victory and defeat she is easy going, she is in it for the playful back-and-forth and the competition, the results aren’t very important (She may or may not pout a bit after a close-fought loss).
Past/History:
Miyu grew up in Tokyo as the second youngest child in an upper middle-class household of 6, and as the only daughter; her familial life wasn’t exactly stressful, in fact it was the opposite. By the time she came along, the brothers that were older than her had kind of already done most of the things she found initial interest in. No matter what she did, no matter which hobby she tried, to young Miyu it seemed like her brothers’ stink was on everything she tried. However, when Miyu reached about the age of 13, she got tired of trying to be the “first” to do something, she decided to simply be the “best” at it.
First it was gymnastics, and while she wasn’t naturally gifted at the sport, she simply outworked her brother and it showed. Within a year she had become his equal, and in a surge of insecurity that Miyu took for surrender, he quit the sport. Miyu was disappointed that her competitor had run away, but she felt an undeniable surge of pride at her “victory”. Her other brothers didn’t exactly like what they had witnessed, and her eldest brother in fact took it as an attack on his domain. He was a very good swimmer but he was not comfortable with the idea of his little sister competing with him. Through what became the worst moment of Miyu’s young life, her brother made sure she would never want to go anywhere near the sport or the pool ever again. After that, Miyu kept to her gymnastics, tried other things and fell in line with the “one sport per sibling” mentality out of fear.
When Miyu turned 18 and the family went out to celebrate her birthday, midway through the party she ran away from them. Miyu was done with feeling as though someone had already decided how well she could do, with feeling like her family was some perverse dog collar around her neck, and so she had planned to move in with one of her best friends, who was a wrestler in a shadier scene. For the first few days it was amazing, she was free to roam Tokyo and farther by day, and she came to watch her friend wrestle by night. She fell in love with the pure physicality of the sport while watching and before long was being taught the basics. After a few weeks however, the issue of rent was brought up, and not wanting to be a freeloader Miyu decided she would use what she was learning and join her friend on that wrestling scene. She learned slowly and methodically, but she learned all she needed and then made her debut.
As Miyu recalls, it was a smashing success. It was the lack of having to compare everything that she did to a family member that really set her free, and within the freedom she glowed like a brilliant and kind of obnoxious wrestling beacon. She grew in popularity until she decided she wanted a bigger arena, and a hotter competition, so she decided to try and join AFW.

Re: Miyu Takenaka
Approved! You may make matches and rp as you like.
Though you may want to break up history and personality into paragraphs.
