The Funniest Bunny

Shinobu leaned his head against Cassie's briefly when she leaned against him and took another careful bite when she did. He continued eating while she explained and whens he was done, he was more than a little confused.

"Ahh, Cassie-chan!" He said, blushing a bit. "That wasn't... exactly what I was speaking about..." He said. Shinobu then bit his lip. "Hmm, maybe I'm thinking about this the wrong way." She said. "In acting, there's a lot of contact between people. In romance scenes and such, there's certainly close contact. We're even expected to kiss if the script calls for it and that has never been an issue with me at all, even when I've been in relationships. This is how I should be considering this." He said thoughtfully as he brought his hand to his lips.

Suddenly his eyes widened and he looked at Cassie. "Not that I expect that to happen! I mean in general. I'm just doing what I'm supposed to be like you are saying." Shinobu then began to chuckle suddenly. "Cassie-chan!" He said with a delightful, flighty tone.

"What two bodies can do together, indeed!" He repeated, stifling a further chuckle. "I... know what you were saying. You forget about those things when you're in the moment. You're just concentrating on doing what you need to do. That is exactly like how it is with me and acting." Shinobu smiled. "How intriguing. Could acting and fighting be so similar?" He asked aloud. "I'm suddenly excited at the prospect!" He declared.

"No," Cassie shook her head. "But I'm glad you're excited! I'm... It's exciting. It's so much fun to learn this stuff, I know you'll like it. I can't wait to get you out of those clothes and get you down on the mats!" Er. "Into gym clothes I mean. Like, to grapple."

Hm. That sounded a little weird, too. She looked down and put a finger to her lips while she pondered if maybe there were just double entendres built into every part of Jiu Jitsu, or if maybe she was some how Freudianly... something.

She forcibly shut off her brain with food. She couldn't possibly make a fool of herself if she couldn't talk. She took bite after bite and kicked her feet back and forth on the bench.

She swallowed, and looked up at Shinobu. "Do you like the animals?"

Shinobu blushed deeply at Cassie's words. No matter how much she tried to deny it, there was no way at all to interpret her words aside from the obvious. However, instead of speaking, he simply took her hand in his and finished his food in warm-cheeked quietness.

Once he was finished and she spoke, Shinobu smiled. "Of course, Cassie-chan." He said. He was pretty sure he'd already answered the question before but he didn't mind. He didn't even think she had done it on purpose. 

"Do you, Cassie-chan?" He asked with a bright smile on his face.

"Mm!" Cassie nodded brightly. "And do you know what my favorite animal is?" She asked with a smile.

Shinobu raised eyebrow and smiled. He shook his head. "I do not. What is it, Cassie-chan?"

Cassie leaned in and booped Shinobu's nose with her finger. "You."

Shinobu chuckled as Cassie touched his nose. "Oh, Cassie-chan." He said slyly. "You're calling me an animal?!" Shinobu grinned. "Ahhh..." Shinobu leaned forward and pecked Cassie's lips."And you, mine." He added, peering into her coy, green eyes

Shinobu's kiss and his charm and his eyes sent Cassie into another round of quiet giggles, and she unconsciously clutched her hands together against her chest.

"Well, of course you're an animal. I'm a bear, so that must make you..." She put a finger to her lips and peered upward in a pantomime of thought. "Hmm... A bunny!"

"Ahh, Cassie-chan!" Shinobu said, blushing a bit. "How am I like a bunny!?" He said, curious at how the red head came to her decision. He didn't seem at all like a bunny!

"Welllll..." Cassie said, swinging her feet again on the bench. "I assumed that Shinobu was short for Shinobunny. And you're funny like a bunny. Funny Funny Shinobunny, that's you." She gave him a very serious inquisitive look. "Was I wrong?"
