The Premier!

Shinobu smiled as they embraced. When Cassie pulled away, he kept one hand on her back to hold her in place. "I'll call you when I get home to make sure I've arrived safely. We can set up our next date and..." Shinobu smiled. "I.. yes. I think I'd like to give it a try, Cassie--san..." Shinobu pasued.

"Oh... it seems much too formal now..." He said. "Cassie-chan!" Shinobu smiled. "I-If it's ok with you?" He asked sheepishly despite it being her idea. "Well, let me know what you decide when I call you in a bit, ok?"

Shinobu then leaned in and stole another quick kiss from Cassie before he exited.

"You can call me whatever you want!"

Cassie was all smiles, clinging to the door frame while she saw Shinobu out. With his last kiss she thought she might just melt right through the floor.

"Bye, Shinobu!" She called after him with a wave.

She was in a daze when she went back inside. For several minutes, she stood in the living room, staring at nothing in particular, her fingertips to her lips. It seemed too good to be true, but it had happened! She was there!

She couldn't wait to tell Taylor and Akashi! And maybe her parents, though she'd leave out some details. And maybe Bucky. And she hoped that when she told Taylor, Taylor would tell Johnny and Johnny would tell Mamouru, and then he'd be sorry!

But that was no way to think. She grabbed her phone and scampered off up the stairs to her bed, and flopped on her back while she began rapidly tapping out text messages.
