Akashi Tanikaze Vs. Mina Oates

Mina's body made an unconscious sigh as she curled up with Akashi, snuggling intimately close. She dreamed a bit in her instantly deep sleep, but it was fuzzy at best in her state. It felt like she was sitting in a dark room while people argued over her.

Mina fidgeted awake, wincing at the soreness that consumed her. "F'git," she murmured. "N'more..." She curled back up and returned to sleep, at least for an hour or two longer.

Akashi's mind too were filled with similar thoughts as her body slept like a rock. 'Where is your honor?' 'It's right here.' Akashi said pounding her chest proudly. 'Is it? What of that woman?' With a hard swallow she leaned in and whispered in Mina's ear, nudging her gently. "Babe, wake up." Mina's eyes fluttered open, a tiny smile on her face as she struggled to stay that way for a bit. She felt the moisture of the kiss on her head and fidgeted, visibly fighting to wake up. Mina smiled warmly at the comment on meaning what she'd said, but it slowly faded as she went on. She remembered what she'd said as well. She almost went to interrupt around the saying of yearning to be with her, but stopped with her mouth still open and closed it.

She looked solemnly at her knees. "I..." she started, but faltered and trailed off. She took several heavy seconds of contemplation, looking up at Akashi's frail smile. She felt ashamed from being too weak to look at her so long and went back to her knees.

"I meant it," she said, soft and weak, biting her lip and forcing herself back into silence for a moment. "I really... that was amazing. It felt wonderful. And I don't mean just the sex. I feel... I feel really, really right with you."

Her voice was cracking a bit by the time she was ending her last sentence. She sniffled and wiped her nose with the back of her hand. "But... Vice means so much to me. I've gone through so much with her, and I really am in love with her. It's just..."

She let some tears hit the mat, either too tired or simply not caring enough to stop them. "I feel so close to you, and so quickly... I really don't..." She choked on a small sob. "It's not fair!" she sobbed. She felt weak, finding herself leaning her cheek against Akashi between her shoulder and her breast.

But if we had met first the chance is equally great that nothing could have sparked within us and we are not mourning that possibility." She pushed Nimb back to look at Mina and brought her finger up and wiped away a stray tear. "We are kind of lucky. Do we have to stop hanging around each other just because there are feelings?
