AV 13 Loser Leaves Friction Match: Cassie Vs. Dark Angel

After she was flipped over, Cassie quickly tried to push herself up on her hands, but Talia tied up her legs before she could get away. An butterfly thrill ran from her stomach up to her chest, and without thinking she reacted to defend the most obvious route Talia could take.

She tucked her chin down and tightly laced her hands behind her head, so that Talia's hands ended up more over her face than under her chin. She struggled against Talia to keep her from being able to crank her head back. She didn't know how she'd escape and turn things around, but she kept her breath steady and waited for Talia to give up an opening.

Talia could only get her hands partially over Cassie's face. Even with the momentum in her favor, it was still hard to get Cassie to let up on the resistance. "Come on...just...just stop..." Out of frustration, Talia reached up and grabbed Cassie by the hands on her head and shoved it hard against the mat. She then pulled her head back up and smashed it back down. "Why couldn't you make this easy? Why couldn't you make anything easy?" Talia released Cassie's leg just so she could stand up to get more leverage as she attempted to smash Cassie's head into the mat once more.

Cassie resisted being pulled up, but only made it worse for herself when her face smacked into the mat. While a few stars floated in front of her eyes, Talia got up, and the moment her legs were free she popped up to her knees and began to struggle, but Talia flung her down and bounced her forehead off the mat.

"Unghh..." She groaned, and put a hand to her aching forehead. She pushed up on one hand and shook her head, blinking repeatedly, and tried to get her bearings on her opponent.

Cassie just kept taking everything Talia gave her. She figured there wasn't going to be any giving up. It was going to go until one physically couldn't continue. Talia grabbed her opponent by the sides of the neck and dragged her towards the nearest turnbuckle. When they got there, she threw Cassie back first into the corner. She grabbed the top rope with both hands and drove her knee into Cassie's abdomen.

Talia then climbed onto the second rope and made a fist. She gripped Cassie's hair to hold her head in place and threw punch after punch into the top of it. The crowd graciously counted the punches out loud in the arena.

Cassie stumbled on her bad knee and hopped on one foot to the corner, clutching Talia's hands for balance along the way. When she got there, she was met with a powerful knee that crushed her stomach and doubled her over, her short orange hair dangling down as she hung her head and hugged her midsection.

"Hah... ghh..." She just wanted to drop to the mat and curl into a ball and give up, and stay there until the crippling pain abated. She couldn't give up, though, she knew it, and she found the will to force herself back upright, only to have Talia straddle her across the ropes.

"Ungh..." The dull thud of Talia's fist against her head match was followed by another, and another. Cassie could hardly compose herself enough to try to stop the battering, but she pushed at Talia's foot on the ropes to try to unbalance her and stubbornly covered her head with her arms, tucking her chin down low.

If it wasn't for the audience's counting, Talia would've lost count of how many times she had punched Cassie in the head. Her hands were starting to hurt but she kept going. Right before the tenth hit, though, she suddenly felt her foot slide down the rope. She lost balance and her reflex was to jump off and straight down so she'd at least land normally.

But it backfired. Her chin clipped Cassie's forearm as she dropped. She immediately groaned in pain and stumbled a few steps back. It hurt way more than any normal hit should have. But she couldn't let up. Not yet. She couldn't give Cassie any opportunities if she wanted any chance to win.

She regained her footing, charged right back to the corner, and attempted to spear Cassie.

Cassie immediately dropped to her hands and knees once she was finally free of her opponent. She gasped unevenly, still trying to catch her breath after taking that knee, and shook her head back and forth as if that would help clear the stars away. It didn't.

She tried to stand, and her knee buckled. On her second try, she got up and walked right into Talia's spear, folding in half over her shoulder before falling to the mat in a heap. Her mouth opened, but no sound escaped. She felt like she'd been hit by a bus, she couldn't move, and with every passing moment she felt her career, and her friends and her whole life, slipping out of her hands.

Talia slowly got back to her feet after spearing Cassie. She was breathing heavily and brushed the crimson hair out of her face with her right hand. She kicked at Cassie's weakened knee knowing it was far and away her best bet to win the match and keep her career. And it looked like she was going to win. She shouldn't felt happy that she it looked like she was going to pull through after all. But Talia didn't smile. She didn't think she could at this point.

The redhead bent over and grabbed Cassie's leg with both her hands. She proceeded to drag her closer to the ropes so her body was parallel with them. Talia looked out across the crowd as she stepped outside the ropes but still atop the apron. She got a brief glimpse of Akashi and those other three and quickly looked back towards Cassie. She didn't want to think about all the people who were cheering against her.

Talia gripped and then jumped onto the top rope to launch herself into the air. She came down back to the mat attempting leg drop Cassie across the neck.

Cassie was still hugging her midsection and writhing in pain while Talia dragged her toward the ropes. She laid on her back, eyes closed, legs squirming back and forth against the mat while she struggled to breathe.

She hadn't even started to get up when Talia vaulted over the ropes. The back of the crimson-haired girl's thigh crashed against her neck and her jaw and made Cassie jerk, her legs kicked involuntarily before turning onto her side. She coughed, her hands went to her neck, and she prayed for the match to be over soon, win or lose.

Akashi gasped at the way Talia seemed to be womanhandling Cassie. Her heart was beating rapidly and when Talia slammed into Cassie, Akashi cringed. She stood up and quickly thanked the girl who let her borrow her seat. She trotted quickly down the last few steps to the barricade. She leaned over it and screamed.

"CASSIE-CHAAAAN! NO MATTER WHAT, I STILL LOVE YOU! YOU'RE STILL FAMILY! BUT I KNOW YOU HAVE A LITTLE MORE FIGHT! MAKE THE BITCH WORK FOR IT?!!"
