The Clark Kent Conundrum (for Tat)

Adrian shrank impossibly further back "No... it's not that..." she said sadly "Maybe it is a good thing that I know I'm not...well...sane, but well a few things can really set me off, and I'd like to really just get over those before I do anything else... that okay? Find some replacement for the big show while I calm down and think things through."

Hilde furrowed her brow at Adrian's words. "No no no!" She protested. "Adrian don't you dare speak that way!" Even though she was scolding Adrian, she was still speaking in a soft tone. "Adrian, you're not insane. You just seem like you're very stressed. That's very natural in this business. I'd love to help you if I could but I'm afraid that there's nothing I could do to take you off of the Pay-Per-View. There must be something else though... I mean... what do you usually do to relax?"

Hilde blushed and turned her head. "I like to listen to really loud music and work out." She said and chuckled softly. "I've never lost to a punching bag once wen I was feeling stressed!" She said and blushed as though she might have lost to one before.

Adrian winced as Hilde protested claims of her own insanity, looks like she wasn't getting time off "Can I at least do hype vids and promos via satellite?" She asked before Hilde asked what she did to relax. "I dunno... play video games?" She suggested "Did you ever lose to a bag when you weren't stressed?" the cosplayer asked, noticing Hilde's blush. "But I don't think that's gonna work... there's got to be something you can do! Say I got caught with pot or something, bang: 30 days break."

Hilde considered Adrian's words and smiled. "Yes, of course. That sounds reasonable." She said reassuringly. Hilde's eyes widened and she blushed. "N-No!" She said. "I... I don't fight them when I'm not stressed... I... I don't care for violence." She said turning her head a little and adjusting her glasses. "I still listen to loud music though!" She chimed in. Her head nodded suddenly as she got a super fast beat in her head and she smiled a bit.

Hilde's eyes suddenly widened at Adrian's words and she grabbed her shoulder. "A-Adrian!" She cried out. "I-If you're on drugs, you can let me know! W-We can get you some help!" She said with a concerned look on her face.

"Gah! I'm not on drugs! I was saying fake a suspension or something!" Adrian yelped, quickly going on the defensive. "So... just pre-tape a couple of promos and I can have between now and the big show off, right? I can do pre-tape."

Hilde jumped when Adrian did. "Eep! Well, that's good! but if you are, I'm here to help!" She then settled down and smoothed out her pants. "Um... Yes... Yes... Pre-tape.. that.. should be fine I guess. We'll find you for a via satellite maybe... but.. We can work out something, j-just don't go doing something foolish to get yourself suspended, ok?" She said looking up at Adrian with a hopeful smile.

"Okay..." Adrian sighed, looks like she wasn't going to be able to get that much needed away time... well she wouldn't get that much time at all. "So... is there anything else? Because I really... have to be somewhere right now. Didn't expect the meeting to take that long." She admitted, she technically had a match later.

Well, Adrian Kytes didn't but well... it was a complicated matter, one that needed to be conducted in great secrecy.

"Hilde's eyes widened and then she looked down, a little disappointed. "N-nein..." She then opened her eyes. "Um, I mean no! No... there's nothing else I need to speak with you about. Unless you have something to say? I... didn't think it was THAT long..." Hilde muttered to herself as she put on a smile for Adrian. "Thank you for coming, Adrian." She said sincerely. "Maybe when you're less busy, we can just have some lunch or something... without all the ... business-y... stuff..."

Now Adrian felt guilty for splitting on Hilde so fast. "Sorry... kind of had plans, NotToSeeAShrink! It's just... I kind of had a thing to do, I think someone I know is making her debut, so I'm gonna go say hi or something." She said sadly.

"Yeah!" The cosplayer perked up "Lunch sounds great!" she said, nodding feverishly before giving Hilde a quick hug "nice to meet you too." She said before bounding out, feeling a little better for having talked to her. Even if the hug had made her blush a bit.

Hilde blushed as Adrian hugged her. She could barely return it before Adrian was off. She smiled softly. Maybe it would just take a bit of time. She stood up and went back to her desk.

"Debut..." She said allowed.

"Who was debuting tonight?" She sat back down and began to look through her computer.
