heyall. generally never update during weekends since that's usually when i pick up and hang out with my girlfriend/eventual fiancee, but went to Animenext this weekend and at the hotel with the laptop. back tomorow, where i can continue to not update as much as i should, but for the last few days, bunch of running around, getting into lines for too-small rooms, and dressing as Luffy.

pro tips. dressing in clothes for a tropical weather setting is very convenient in the summer. it is less so running across several parking lots in the pouring rain. fun though. also Angie went dressed as Yuugi from touhou, which i better knew as Revy on AFW before she pointed that out to me. great times. she was less recognized, but got huge props from people who did know who she was. blew too much on merch booth (mostly for her anyway), and picking up a comission sketch tomorrow of Giant Queen Sakura, an original idea you'll be hearing a shitload about from Tatiana and me soon enough if you haven't already

so any convention-goers up in here?

Yup, last thing I went to was MCM at the end of May. Because I am a lazy bastard when it comes to costumes I just settled for going as Light yagami. Still didn't help with the gales.

went to the World Steam Expo a week or two ago. Was pretty awesome seeing all the people dressed up in olde tyme clothes and saw a panel on airship combat that was pretty awesome.

I went to an Anime Con a couple years ago in Sacramento, I forget the official name of it, kinda stoned at the time.

I remember I spent over 200 dollars.

I remember there was a Anime Human Chess Match dealy, which was really awesome even though I dont remember much of it. I know it had Link. which was cool.


Also I perfomed live, which was interesting cause nobody really cared, since nobody knew who we were.

I would say CPAC but it's probably not it. It's in Hoboken now that I think about it.
