SS '14 Hawk and Lioness Vs. Silver Ace and Valley Doll

As Jocelyns screams either delighted or worried the crowd, Ace was still recovering. She had rolled under the ropes onto the apron after tagging out, laying there as her head slowly cleared from those hard kicks, though a dull throbbing still remained. Her back, neck, and scalp still hurt, making it hard to get up as she tried to soothe them.

It was as Valley was attempting to pull Jocelyn into a Romero Stretch that Ace was able to pull herself up to a kneeling position on the apron, the pain finally ebbing away as she recovered. Ace was tough, able to take damage and recover and keep fighting, but those kicks, that hold...Ace had to resist a shiver just thinking about it. She wasn't out of the fight yet, and she would have her chance again, but Jocelyn had just proven how dangerous an opponent she really was. When Ace was ready, she would have to be far more careful, lest she risk nearly costing them the match again.

Allison's eyes remained locked unflinchingly on Valley Doll. She remained just as still and statuesque on the apron while she watched the gruesome spectacle unfold, showing no emotion or intent to intervene.

She knew now what was wrong. She knew what Valley Doll had done. While her cold, feline eyes stared at the out of control American blonde, Allison could only wait.

Valley cursed as Jocelyn grabbed the ropes - she'd been so caught up in punishing the little rat that she'd stopped paying attention to her surrounding. The Romero was a submission, especially for someone with her leg power, but the humiliating version she was doing sacrificed one of its best traits by letting Jocelyn's hands go free.

She grunted as the ref started the count and released the hold at the last moment, tossing Jocelyn off and sitting up. She ran a hand over her face, knocking off a thin sheen of sweat. That whole exchange couldn't have last more than five minutes, but it was brutal all the way. That Jocelyn had anything left at all was pretty impressive by itself. Valley had faced tougher opponents, sure, but she never imagined someone her size could take that amount of punishment and stay conscious.

Whatever the case, Valley felt it was safe to say that Jocelyn was about as softened up as she could get, and it was time Valley took a break of her own. Ace looked recovered enough, and even if she wasn't 100%, her opponent was practically gift-wrapped. All she had to do was finish it.

Valley stood up and held her hand out for Ace to do the tag, calming down now that she'd gotten the aggression out. "Ready?"

Jocelyn flopped to the mat with a hard thud, laying on the ground like a sack of potatoes as Valley pulled away. She groaned into the canvas as her aching body slowly writhed. She weakly lifted her head up and looked at Allison. The stoic Brit's features looked as though she were watching a game of cricket, with all the accompanying enthusiasm, rather than participating in a tag team wrestling match.

Normally that would bother Jocelyn, infuriate the Chistralian. How DARE Allison throw her to the wolves. But Jocelyn pulled one arm forward and let it flop to the canvas as she heard valley's words. She didn't have to look at all at who she was talking to. She only inched forward and then stopped to catch her breath before her other arm snaked out and pulled her body another inch.

There was a long way back to her corner and this time Jocelyn's eyes weren't filled with the shame of having to retreat. She was a prideful woman but even she knew she had been handled. It was a time for a break and it was time for Allison to come in and show everyone why she was the apple of Jocelyn's eye.

And that almond orb gleamed through her haggard facial expressions as she locked eyes with the beautiful blonde to wordlessly announce:

'I survived.'

Ace looked up as Valley offered to tag out, looking to the ring as Jocelyn slowly crawled towards her corner. She hadn't been focusing on the in ring action during her rest period, and was surprised at Jocelyn's condition. Whatever Valley Doll had done, it certainly wasn't just in the spirit of competition.

Ace nodded slowly and tagged in, stepping through the ropes to get back in the ring. She still feeling the effects of Jocelyn's stretches, causing her to move a little slower than she normally would, letting Jocelyn get a bit further away before Ace could catch up, the silver haired Canadian stepping around Jocelyn's body and standing directly in front of her, raising one leg and planting her foot on Jocelyn's upper back to keep her down.

Ace didn't say anything, didn't want to mix words with Jocelyn, since that's what got her caught last time, instead just giving Jocelyn a second to realize Ace was back before she dropped down, intending to bring her elbow down on Jocelyn's back!

Jocelyn was to about the middle of the ring and considered getting to her hands and knees when a pair of boots and legs blocked her path. "Crickey." She grumbled to herself, feeling fatigued as well as the boot stepped on her back and pushed her back down flat against the canvas.

"Gahaaaaa!"

Jocelyn's body bent around the point of Ace's elbow as she drove it into her. The Chistralian whimpered under Ace's weight and breathed hotly into the arms folded around her head. Maybe she survived valley Doll, but she didn't think she could last too much longer against Ace, even if she was injured as well.

Ace forced her elbow down onto Jocelyn's back as hard as she could before getting up to her feet, grabbing Jocelyn by her hair and pulling her up with her. Ace wasn't being rash like before, but she still wanted payback, pulling Jocelyn towards the ropes ahead of her, leaning Jocelyn's body on a spot on the ropes between Allison's corner and an empty turnbuckle. It was a risky move, but Ace wanted Allison to see this, to try and intimidate the mysterious woman a little, since she doubted the woman would let the fight end without coming in the ring.

Placing Jocelyn's arms over the ropes to keep her standing, Ace took a step back from the smaller woman and turned to the side. Since the girl was so skilled with her kicks, it was only fair that Ace give her a taste of her own powerful legs, swinging her leg out from her side position, aiming to smash her leg against Jocelyn's chest!

Once again Jocelyn was hauled up by her short, hair that had been matted from the grueling effort she'd put in thus far. The crowd was at a steady cheer as Jocelyn was draped over the top rope and her arms hooked to keep her in place.

Jocelyn's head lolled to the side as her glassy eyes took in the blur of Ace's form as she took a moment to measure up the smaller Chistralian. Jocelyn moaned when Ace fired her leg up, the impact thudding into her tiny chest and lifting her feet off the mat for a moment before her legs ozzed back onto the mat, leaving her panting and sore.

That hurt, but Jocelyn was thankful that Ace was trying to show off instead of putting her away. The lithe Jocelyn still trying to work out something in her mind as she struggled to push herself down the ropes, using them like a cable car to slide her body closer to Allison.

All she needed to do was get back to her corner. As long as Ace was focused on hurting her rather than putting her away and as long as Jocelyn kept her mind focused on tagging in Allison, she believed with all her heart she could do it. The thought made her heart beat faster. If she made it through this and got to Allison, they'd win. They'd win and Allison would be sure to praise her. Maybe she'd see that Jocelyn wasn't some loud mouthed brat and that she was a woman worthy of Allison's affection.

It was all the mantra she could repeat to herself to try and keep her going and powering down to wards her corner.

Ace watched as Jocelyn tried to make her way down the rope, getting slightly closer to her partner before Ace swung her leg again, aiming a hard kick towards Jocelyn's side. She couldn't put it off forever, She highly doubted this Allison girl would actually willingly lose and not compete, so eventually, she would get in the ring. Plus, as creepy as the woman was and as much as she hated Jocelyn...Ace had to admit that she was curious as to what the woman could do in the ring. Jocelyn proved earlier to more than Ace thought she was, perhaps this opponent was as well.

Then again, perhaps it was better to just and end things while she literally had Jocelyn on the ropes. Grabbing Jocelyn and turning her to face Ace, the semi rookie grabbed her arm and pulled her towards her, while kneeling down and draping Jocelyn's body over her shoulders and standing up, staring at Allison almost head on while she had Allisons partner stuck on her shoulders, just out of arms reach.

"Ready to say goodnight Jocel-bitch?"

"Guwaah!"

Jocelyn cried again as her chest was hit with another hard kick, sending her in a small sputter of convulsions before settling back down. Jocelyn panted hard The ropes, combined with the chops at least gave her back and neck some respite but it seemed like Ace was done. Jocelyn felt like she was done too as Ace pulled on her arms and leaned Jocelyn over her like a cloak.

Jocelyn sighed, wanting to close her yes but as Ace stood up, Jocelyn knew that she'd be finished if Ace pulled off whatever she had in mind. Her body was aching but she had just enough life left in her.

Jocelyn threw her legs out and hooked her ankles around the top rope.

"Not by you!" She growled and tried to use her position to force the two of them closer to the ropes. The referee was already over and considering calling a rope break. Jocelyn pulled her arm out and reached out for Allison's arm. A rope break might save her, a tag DEFINITELY would. Either way, it was all she had before Ace did whatever sinister thing she had planned to finish Jocelyn off.

"Nnnnghhh!"

Jocelyn strained as she tried to ues her legs to pull them towards her own corner even as she extended her hand out in reach of Allison. The Brit hadn't moved all match, seeming to be almost statuesque. She just hoped that now Allison might actually bridge the gap between them and take her hand.
