Funimation is awesome. Most of their dubs are really damn good, and they seem to listen to their fans a lot.

I thought most anime fans all shared the opinion that every English Dub that wasn't Cowboy Bebop's was nothing but trash, and that "True Anime" could only be watched in original Japanese?

I only watch what Toonami shows, since I don't get the "funimation channel" and my internet sucks with showing videos.

I am not very competent at commenting Anime in general as I have no insider knowledge of Anime or Manga.
My memories of Anime are primarily made of Evangelion(a very bizare movie series), a little bit Gundam(see Evangelion), Sailor Moon/ DBZ/ Naruto/ One Piece(everyone of them had me in tears at one point or the other actually, especially the Haku plot.) and of course the more western series like JLA, Spiderman in all shapes and color and the Avengers.

But as I watched Agent Aika, a movie that was basically a tribute to panties and fanservice in general with an androgyn villain(Hagen), his butch sister and their whole army of good looking girls on top of that, I was not really disappointed with the plot. A little bit shallow, sure. But not more shallow than an episode of a daily soap.

Only morons think that. There's tons and tons of good English dubs, especially nowadays. We're not in the 90s as far as dubbing is concerned anymore. ;P

The only dubbing companies that suck are 4Kids (minus Pokemon) and Ocean Dub, other than that, a lot of English dub animes are very good but not as good as the Japanese dub to an extent.

Also there was a time where the Japanese dub was terrible and the English dub was a LOT better! xD

Sentai could use a little work...

They aren't bad, but they certain;y aren't awesome either. They get a little too cheeky with the dubs for my taste.
