One Bird, Two Stones

Jocelyn listened to Dinah's words after the woman was in the ring. She was right on both accounts. She needed to be a better wrestler for herself as well as Sarah. She just needed to be stronger. She was also probably a masochist, though she couldn't admit it. And the former never crossed her mind, though maybe if she thought about it, that wouldn't be so far off from the truth either considering the situation she continued to willingly mire herself in.

However, it definitely intrigued Jocelyn when Dinah said she might give her some free shots on Sarah. She hadn't truthfully considered trying to impress the girl at all, but maybe... that could prove useful to the Chistralian. Either way, she was getting her shots on Sarah. But if things went bad for Allison, then this might be an interesting fall back plan.

"Right." Jocelyn said and nodded as she stretched her own lithe body, clearly built for more agile tactics than Dinah's larger frame. When she was done stretching, she bounced on her heels. "You don't need to treat me like a doll, mate." Jocelyn said. "Maybe I'm smaller but I can take a lot, don't worry. It's what we both want and need." Jocelyn said as she moved quickly on her heels, bringing up her hands in a guarding stance. If Jocelyn had any kind of advantage, which she was fairly sure she did not, it was that her style of fighting focused mostly on the lower half, from the waist down and more the hips, thighs and knees. Dinah looked like her chest and upper body were fierce, but maybe she could try and cut the legs out from this tree trunk of a woman. She dashed forward, keeping her guard up and when she approached threw out a shin to try and snap it against Dinah's shin, as if she were a Muai Thai boxer.

"If you say so, love." Dinah said. She rolled her shoulders and paced the ring. Honestly, she was a little uncomfortable with this, she didn't know what Jocelyn's angle was but it seemed utterly ridiculous that she would just want to get beat up for no reason.

She gave Jocelyn a skeptical look, and then put up her hands up in a tight boxing guard, fists near her cheek bones, elbows tucked in. She was content to just watch the skinny little Chinese girl to see what tricks she was planning on pulling out, so she didn't bother moving her hands when she rushed in. Dinah lifted her front leg and took Jocelyn's kick on the shin, almost without flinching. That could only hurt her more than it hurt Dinah.

"Are you a little child, kicking me in the shin? You're going to have to try harder than that." She said, keeping her eyes locked on Jocelyn as she slowly advanced on her.

Jocelyn furrowed her brow. Even her legs were like kicking a wood block. She backed away but kept her composure. She bent down. Maybe if she managed to unseat the big girl, she could do... something? She backed up further and then started running. The girl seemed like she was only in for straight fighting and maybe Jocelyn could give her some motivation to pick things up. When she was close enough, she bent her knees and launched herself, trying to square a dropkick into Dinah's stomach.

Dinah took a quick lateral step and batted Jocelyn's legs aside, letting her miss and flop onto the mat. She took hold of the girl's head with both hands and dragged her into a run before flinging her like a rag doll at the corner.

She wasn't planning on destroying the poor girl, but she was at least interested in seeing how she went about trying to fight Dinah while being so obviously outmatched. Her tenacity was as captivating as her lack of confidence.

Jocelyn's eyes widened when Dinah so dismissively batted away the dropkick. She wasn't expecting THAT, that was for sure. Still, maybe the fact tat she had to dodge it rather than tank it meant something? Before she could formulate an idea, however, she was tugged roughly by the hair. Her legs bent and shifted as she tried to get to a standing position, slipping on the mat while Dinah hauled her like a sack. One hand went to the woman's steely wrist just to alleviate some pressure. Before she could yell out much of a cry, she was literally tossed into the turnbuckle.

Se slammed into it hard and let out a quick grunt of pain followed by a low, groan as she hung against the turnbuckle. Whatever she thought of others, Sarah included, Dinah's raw power was undeniable. Jocelyn panted in the corner briefly before clenching her fists. She'd asked for this. All of it and more so she couldn't very well back down now but subtle attacks and even direct ones didn't seem to do much. She bent her knees and launched herself forward back at Dinah and aimed a hard fist for the girls big breast. Maybe it was a little dirty but she'd probably break her hand if she punched the woman's stomach. Maybe even her face too, Jocelyn knew how thick that skull of Dinah's was without laying a finger on it.

Dinah's eyes never left Jocelyn, and her hands were immediately back up in a tight boxing guard. She slowly stepped toward the girl to corner her, unsure if she was going to want to keep fighting the way she had so far. She doubted the girl would have the same enthusiasm for this ordeal having experienced how sorely outmatched she was.

She was a little impressed, though, by how Jocelyn came back at her, changing up her attack again with undiminished tenacity. Of course, Dinah had already measured her up and figured she had at least six or eight inches of reach on her. She didn't bother putting and power into her left hand, since Jocelyn's forward momentum would take care of that for her, and she flicked out a fast jab to stop her short before her punch could land on Dinah's body.

She quickly circled to her right, and again her hands were tight and she slowly advanced on the smaller girl. She had plenty to say to her, but remained silent for now. She didn't like to break her concentration in a fight.

Jocelyn was rattled when she was out reached by Dinah and felt the sting of the fist rattle through her teeth. She stumbled and staggered and pulled up her hands in a sloppy mimicry of Dinah. Her vision was fuzzy but she knew Dinah was only toying with her. That made her even more angry. The woman was a good boxer but Jocelyn was pretty sure she was good at what SHE did too! It was the ring and wrestling rules that allowed others to capture victory against her. She told herself that much.

She pulled back away just to keep some distance between them before letting out a huff and charging back in. This time she pulled up her leg and shot her foot downward at Dinah's knee. The woman was a boxer but how well could she fend off low attacks?

Dinah continued to slowly walk Jocelyn down. Of course the little girl would try to keep distance between them, but Dinah only had to wait and time her approaches in order to counter. Since she had no real fear of Jocelyn's power, she could afford to stand her ground and pick her shots. As a boxer, she was known as a powerful counter puncher. She was also known for her liver shot.

Jocelyn came in again, and Dinah immediately planted her feet. She took Jocelyn's sharp kick on the outside of her knee with a grunt. The impact bent her leg inward slightly, but she had already thrown a solid straight right counter aimed at the girl's chest.

Jocelyn felt her foot connect but she didn't get the desired result. Her face furrowed into a heavy scowl. Did she have to fight this woman with an ice pick to do some damage!?It really made her mad but she didn't have time to do much else when the fist buried into her chest. It stunned her and she took a step back before dropping straight down to her hands and knees, one hand clutching her chest as she inhaled a deep breath. It hurt so much but the shock was so much worse. It least with Allison, she stood a CHANCE. Or, THOUGHT she did. Dinah was a giant slab of meet that it seemed like she could do nothing to.


"Haaaaaangh...." She sucked in the loud breath and dug her fingers into the mat. Her legs tensed and she recklessly threw her body at Dinah, looking to drive her head between Dinah's legs. She swore to herself if she broke her face on the girl's crotch, then she'd have no choice but to believe the woman was from the future, not England and that she was looking for someone named Conners, not Allison.

Dinah stood up straight and dropped her hands. She was sure that Jocelyn would be done with her little sparring session. She didn't even hit Jocelyn that hard, but maybe she was just used to tougher sparring partners.

"Guess you're done, then, yeah?" Dinah said, straightening her pale purple, button-down shirt and putting a hand on her hip. "You've had your fun, maybe now..." She slowed down when Jocelyn looked like she was coming in again. "We can..."

Her eyes widened, and stood dumbfounded while the little asian girl flung herself at her again, but she never threw a punch. Or a kick. Dinah's self preservation instincts kicked in in time to keep her from taking the full brunt of Jocelyn's cranium, but it still crashed into her bone and knocked her onto her butt.

"Gaah! Ahahaha!" Dinah was laughing through her groans of pain. One hand went down to the sore spot, and the other propped her up in a sitting position. She grinned at Jocelyn. "You're a looney!"
