Tag Title Match: The Love Bunnies (C) Vs. The Frozen Flame Combo

Anubis and Bastet had been watching the match begin with sour interest, waiting to see precisely how the Love Bunnies planned to screw these latest competitors out of a title and add yet another group to the long line of bitter former contenders that the Goddesses would have to deal with. They had sympathy for the other teams who Leah and Mara cheated out of proper title shots, sure, but they themselves were clearly the ideal candidates for the belts, and had gotten screwed out of a sure victory in a much more blatant way than any other team. The belts rightfully belonged to the Goddesses. Were this a matter to be taken up in court, the Goddesses would have an open-and-shut case.

But, of course, there was no court in this land or any other that was going to take a case like this. And the Goddesses didn't want to decide their contendership in some courtroom, or take the titles on a technicality. They were not going to give Leah any chance to say that they hadn't really earned those gold belts. They had beaten her and her partner once, and they were going to do it again.

Soon enough, the match was dissolving into chaos, as Seele and her partner came out to once again delegitimize any result that might come out of this match. Anubis rolled her eyes and Bastet scoffed as they watched the deteriorating situation on a monitor backstage. Seele was almost as bad as Leah. If the two of them could just eliminate each other, all of the tag team title's problems would go away.

Unfortunately, that was only wishful thinking.

At this point, the match was over, once again inconclusive, thanks to interference, with the Love Bunnies once again scampering away with the titles. The Goddesses didn't like that one bit. And they were not just going to stand idly by while three inferior teams were bickering over a title that they had won fair and square. They headed for the top of the ramp. When they stepped out into the arena, they practically ran right into Leah, who was backing up the ramp, blissfully unaware of their presence.

The Goddesses looked at each other and smirked.

"Where are you going with our belts, huh?" Bastet would demand, as the Goddesses each grabbed onto one of Leah's shoulders, halting her backwards progress, then giving her a hard shove, hoping the decline she was standing on would force her to stumble back down towards the ring, with the Goddesses following right behind!

Mara slowly slipped out under the ropes and down onto the outside ring area, a hand on the apron of the ring to steady herself while she came to her senses and took a look around at all of the activities and carnage being laid around.

Meanwhile at the top of the rampway, Leah unwittingly walked backwards right into both Anubis's and Bastet's tanned meagerly clothed forms. She gasped, immediately trying to rush forwards away from them but the two goddesses grabbed onto her shoulder and gave her a hefty shove forwards, forcing her to stumble forwards back down the ramp and lose her footing. The blonde bunny fell and rolled forwards once, dropping the belts off at the side of the ramp right at the bottom as she quickly tried to scramble back up to her feet

"I'M SORRY!" Kat said with wide eyes as she shook her head and tried to get Yukiko to understand. Seele, meanwhile, was back on her feet and looking to tear into the girl. However, she wasn't stupid and made sure she kept an eye on Akiko while she marched over to where Kat and Yukiko were laying.

Fortunately, or Unfortunately, before the four girls could get back into it, the arena lights flashed and familiar theme began to play. Out from the backstage area stepped the General Manager, Lukretia Von Creuzfeldt herself with an annoyed look on her face.

"Genug!" She barked into the microphone she held. "I have had enough of zis. Ze whole division has been turned into a useless farce und I am putting an end to it right now." She looked over everyone. "Ze Goddesses vill be vying for ze title at Summer Splash." She said and looked at the two. No doubt it might upset the bunnies since the Goddeses were forbidden from challenging for the titles, but she didn't care.

"What!?" Seele growled and began to start up towards the ramp, infuriated at the GM's decision.

"Und you as vell, Cait Sith." Lukretia said and looked at the Bunnies. "I do believe zat neither team vas allowed to challenge you for your title, right? Vell, individually, neither team is. Since you do not have to be pinned to lose ze titles, I think zat it's quite fair."

She then looked passed the three tag teams and focused on the red and blue haired girls. "Oh, und you know vhat? Consider yourselves in ze right place at ze right time." Lukretia said. "Since ze Häschen vere so eager to face you for zheir titles, zhey vill still get zat opportunity as vell."

Her annoyed face melted away and her usual haughty, devilish smirk returned as her eyes fell back to the love Bunnies.

Yukiko had more than a few choice words for Kat, but those could definitely wait until after she had beat the crap out of her and her obnoxious friend. Akiko slid out of the ring, landing next to Yukiko, more than a little upset at Kat as well. However, just as the two prepared to strike, they stopped short as the arena lights flashed and music blared, heralding the entrance of yet another interruption.

Though they had been at the AFW for a decent amount of time, neither of the two girls had actually ever seen nor met the general manager before. Both admitted, she more than lived up to her intimidating reputation. While her thick accent made it a bit hard for them to understand, they did manage to follow the general gist of things, at least until that last part.

"Wait... You just said those two fatasses are getting a shot, but... What does that mean!?" Yukiko demanded, while Akiko just stood there looking puzzled.

"Let me make zis perfectly clear, zhen." Lukretia said as she looked amongst the competitors. "At Summer Splash, it vill be ze Love Bunnies versus ze Goddesses versus Team Cait Sith versus Frozen Flame Combo for ze Tag Team Titles. Is zat succinct enough?"

Without another word, Lukretia turned and left the arena.
