Blood in the Water: Syd w/ Allie Parker vs. Gemma Faraday

"Gah!" Syd grunted as Gemma's fists began to smack into her slim midsection, hard enough to make her notice and in enough volume to piss her off.

She took the opportunity to show that she wasn't just a brawler, that she could wrestle too. She hooked an arm over one of Gemma's after a punch, and grabbed the girl's chin with her other hand. She turned around, using her leverage to twist Gemma around until they were back to back with the Brit bending over backwards, and then dropped onto her butt to slam the back of Gemma's neck against her shoulder.

Gemma's counter-attacks were more an act of desperation, than anything else. With the say Syd had been battering her skull and spine, the Brit had little to no hope of mustering the strength to do much more than annoy the girl. Still, she told herself she had to do something. That she owed it to herself and her fans to stand up for herself, somehow. She nearly buckled, as Syd clubbed her already-aching back, but the Brit kept all of her energy focused on swinging wild at her opponent's slim midriff, hoping for the best.

Unfortunately, "the best" turned out to actually be rather horrible. "Nnh!" Gemma grunted, as Syd hooked her slender arm, trapping it. The Brit was helpless, as Syd took hold of her chin and twisted her around. Gemma squirmed in the hold as Syd bent her over backwards, but it was clear that the white-haired Brit wasn't going anywhere her opponent didn't want her to go. When Syd pulled the two of them down, Gemma's neck slammed hard against her opponent's shoulder, sending a massive wave of agony through every already-battered muscle in the girl's upper back. "Bloody bum-shagging hell!" Gemma cried out, as the force of the move couple with her already-damaged neck and back muscles sent her into spams of pain, half-rolling, half-flopping away from Syd.

"Aaaoooww ..." Gemma moaned, pathetically, as she finally settled, curling up in a ball, on the mat. Both of her arms tucked protectively around her neck, hands cupping the base of her rattled skull, Gemma struggled to keep her wits about her. "Have to do something, dammit," she muttered to herself. "Can't let this little wank-bucket win ..." With her neck and spine in absolute fits, however, that something was going to have to wait. For now, all Gemma could do was lie on the mat, and hope to God the pounding in her head would subside.

Syd hopped back to her feet and looked down at her work with a self-satisfied sneer. She glanced over at Allie to make sure she was enjoying it as much as she was, and then bent to grab hold of Gemma's braids again. She couldn't resist. While she dragged the girl up, she violently yanked her head back and forth between her two pigtails, while laughing at the sight of it.

Allie caught Syd's eye and gave her an approving eye. Her arms were crossed smugly under her chest as Syd pulled Gemma up.

"Make her beg, Syd. C'mon!" Allie said, whining a bit.

“Hnn!” Gemma squeaked, when Syd starting using her hair (again, with that!) to pull her back up off of the ring. The pain in Gemma's neck from that neckbreaker, coupled with Syd began swinging her around like a rag doll, left her flailing helplessly, side to side, face reddening in rage and humiliation. Unable to get the leverage to fight back without risking her own hair, forced to let Syd's mocking laughter echo through her ears while she could do nothing about it, she it seemed the Brit's situation was looking more desperate with each passing minute.

Hearing Allie's whining demands, however, cut straight through the pain. Eyes widening, Gemma began to chew her lip, the girl's words cutting straight under her skin, little charges of panic through the blonde's petite skull. The last thing that she needed was Allie egging Syd on to torture her more. “Shut it, you codswallowing bint!” she shouted, in what she hoped to be Allie's general direction.

As she was lifted back to her feet, Gemma gripped Syd's wrists as tightly as she could, trying to alleviate some of that pressure. Allie's words nagged at the back of Gemma's neck, nipping away at her confidence, convincing her that she had to fight back, and quickly, if she was going to survive. Gemma spread her trembling legs to a wide stance, trying to get a firm base, to regain some of her balance. Mostly, though, Gemma struggled to focus on her breathing, to prevent completely panicking. With Syd's laughter still ringing in her ears, however, Gemma knew that her time to strike was now. Shifting all of her weight to her left foot, Gemma pivoted hard off the heel. With nothing to lose, no further she could possibly fall, tonight, Gemma threw every ounce of energy she had into a hard kick, exploding off of her right hip and driving her thick boot hard towards Syd's midsection. Hands still gripping Syd's wrists as firmly as she could, Gemma aimed her strike towards Syd's ribs but focused on ending the kick with her foot about two feet past that mark. It was an all or nothing effort; if Gemma was going to survive this match, she needed to give everything she had to this strike.

Syd's fun came to an abrupt and painful stop as Gemma's shin slammed into her midsection, causing her to drop the Brit's pigtails and buckling her to one side.

"Uuhfff!"

She went reeling away from her opponent, hugging her ribs with her arms and pacing off toward the ropes. "You're distracting me." She glared at Allie. Her stupid manager was supposed to help her win, not just stand there and annoy her until the other stupid girl kicked her spleen clean out of her body.

With a growl, she clenched her fists and turned to charge back at Gemma, swinging one arm out to try to decapitate the girl with a heavy clothesline.

Gemma had to suppress a bit of shock, when she felt her boot hit hard against Syd's ribs. Even harder, when when she heard the exhalation of pain driven from the white-haired sociopath's ribs. She'd landed a hit, dammit! Gemma didn't know how long she'd been telling herself that she'd get her shot in, but now that it seemed that moment was finally happening, she knew she couldn't let herself relax. Time to try and drive it home, she told herself!

Still dealing with an aching spine and neck, Gemma did her best to push all of that aside, and focus every little bit of energy she had on bringing down her tormentor. Offering a smug little wink and smirk to Syd, hoping that some bravado would belie the pain shooting between every muscle in her boydy, Gemma dropped to her haunches. The lithe young Brit kept her legs bent, wanting to be ready for Syd's inevitable counterstrike. With a keen eye on Syd's tightened arm, anticipating the strike to come, Gemma ducked low, hoping to let her opponent's clothesline sail over her aching head. Ducking beneath that blow as quickly as she could, Gemma would then reset her heels, try to shift her weight before pivoting hard off of her boot and delivering the strongest roundhouse kick her body could manage. The entire time, Gemma had her gaze fixed squarely on Syd's skull, wanting to punish the white-haired brawler for every indignity and pain that Gemma had been forced to suffer through, tonight.

Syd stumbled past her target as her clothesline whiffed harmlessly over Gemma's head. She planted her feet and turned, ready to press the attack, but instead took another kick, this time to the face.

Whack!

Syd's head snapped back and she fell to her knees while the crowd cheered at the sudden reversal. She shook her head while the arena spun around her and tried to get back to her feet only to lose her balance and pitch backward, stumbling sea-sick into the ropes, where she hung on with her arms hooked over the top rope.

Allie growled when Syd blamed her for distracting her. Allie was the best manager around and there was only ONE thing that might distract Syd and she had BETTER not be looking at THOSE!

'hmph!'

Allie crossed her arms as Syd charged for a clothesline she expected to nail Gemma with. Then she didn't and soon she was stumbling like a drunkard into the ropes. Allie raced around until she was in front of Syd.

"What the hell, what the hell!?" She shrieked. "Don't you make ME look bad by messing up your first night!" Allie furrowed her brow and looked past Syd at Gemma. This retarded Brit was really going to give Syd fits? She must have been sandbagging with that other match! How the hell could she muster up anything but whines, cries and snarky comments!

"Just turn around and beat her UP!" Allie commanded.

First the first time, Gemma was enjoying the sound of Allie's whining. Still, the Brit knew she couldn't rest on her laurels. She'd waited for this opening long enough, and she knew full well that there was no time to let up. Raising a fist high to try and rally her fans in the crowd, Gemma broke into a full run towards Syd, as she was hung up on the ropes.

Nearing her opponent, the high-flying Brit hopped up and planted her boots on the second rope, one on each side of Syd's slender waist. Leaning into her opponent for balance, Gemma worked her arms beneath Syd's, tucking her red-eyed opponent's head against her ribs in a double-underhook hold. Briefly, starting to fully enjoy the shift in momentum, Gemma allowed herself a second to give a taunting wink and smirk to Allie, down at ringside. Then, rocking her body into Syd's, pressing tight against her, Gemma used the tension in the ring ropes to aid her as she pushed off, giving every effort into launching of of the ropes and leap into the air. Gemma pulled Syd along with her, twisting as she did so, driving her opponent down head-first with a springboard underhook DDT. Gemma knew full well the toll the impact would take on her already battered back, but it would be more than worth it, to plant the white-haired little sociopath's skull into the mat with the added force of the springboard, behind it.
