SS 14 Best 2/3 Falls: Taylor Parker Vs. Adrian Kytes

Adrian barely noticed Taylor covering her, her eyes were closed and her mind probably defaulted to thinking that any weight on her chest was probably just a feeling from how much this fight had taken out of her. It wasn't until the first count that Adrian really realized what was going on. "n-no." She groaned out, eyes opening as the ref's hand came down for the count of "Two!" throwing up her shoulder as fast as she could to kick out just in the nick of time. The crowd drawing out the "Twoooooooo" as Adrian gasped for breath, acting like she'd just gotten her head above water.

When Adrian kicked, she might as well have stabbed Taylor in the heart. The punk cringed while the arena crowed "Two!", as if the word itself caused her physical pain, and pulled herself off of Adrian to sit on her knees.

"Coooooooomme ooooooonnnnnnn!!" She wailed. But this was no time to lose her nerve. She had to finish Adrian off.

As she laboriously worked her way up to her feet, it occurred to her that she had no ill-will toward Adrian. She didn't have any grudge left. She didn't have the energy to hate her, she only wanted her goddamn shoulders to stay on the goddamn mat for three goddamn seconds. Goddammit.

Well, there was one way to make sure that happened. Taylor raised a tired fist in the air and issued forth another feral scream. The crowd cheered, but Taylor imagined they must have been tired too. She walked to the corner and slipped through the ropes, and began to climb the turnbuckles from the outside so that she faced in, at Adrian. Still down on the mat. Still just waiting for Taylor to dive bomb her and put her away for good.

The end was so close Taylor had butterflies in her stomach.

Adrian rolled over onto her front, rubbing a stain of her blood into the mat as her hair hung messily over her head. She didn't even know why she was continuing to push herself so hard when she could always fall back on and say that she proved in the first fall that she could beat Taylor fair and square, but she still forced herself back up regardless, managing to catch a glimpse of Taylor ascending to the top rope.

Her body screaming in pain, she charged forward, running as fast as she could to intercept the blonde's climb and putting full force into jumping up. Grabbing the top rope herself for leverage, she jump and pulled to launch her legs up, trying to catch Taylor with a surprise kick to the head. If this didn't work, even if it did, Adrian would pretty much be out of options, but she forced herself to do at least something.

Taylor held on tight to the top rope while she very carefully climbed up the turnbuckles. She was exhausted enough to worry about slipping, and she definitely didn't want to fall on her ass in front of everyone.

She had one foot on the top, and was about to look up and spot her jump when Adrian's boot swatted her across the face with an audible whack! The kicked knocked the sense out of her for what had to be the hundredth time, and she fell, folded belly-down over the top rope while she struggled to right herself.

Adrian held onto the top rope for dear life as her body dropped back down, her heart beating fast. "I...I got her." She said to herself, trying to process what just happened. The former cosplayer felt like she had been running on empty for so long with no end in sight, and now she had what she felt like was the perfect opportunity to end this whole thing once and for all. A bloody smile crept onto her face as she turned to the crowd, calling out for something that she knew would finish anyone off. "BRAIN BUSTAAAAA[size=150:3c76beo6]AAAAAAAAA!" She yelled, coughing out the last bits before she started her ascent up the turnbuckle, pulling Taylor so she was facing the ring when she looped her arm over the punkette's neck.

Taylor was weakly trying to right herself on the turnbuckle when she heard Adrian announce her intentions. The words set off alarm bells in her head, and as Adrian grabbed onto her, her feet finally found holds on the rope and the turnbuckle chain.

"Fuck..." She muttered. She pulled against Adrian to try to keep from being pulled into position for what could at that point be a career-threatening move. Her neck was already fucked, she couldn't take that!

"Shit, shit, shit..." She struggled to lift her head up enough to pry Adrian's arm away from her body and give her a clear shot at her ribs. She slammed her fist into the exposed area with all the strength she could muster, once, twice, anything to keep Adrian from lifting her up and over. She grabbed onto Adrian's wrist, and with a sudden burst of effort, she yanked her head free, reared back, and smashed her bloodied forehead into Adrian's face. And it hurt.

Adrian was busy psyching herself up for this, her back hadn't been good since the first fall and to lift Taylor up was going to take a herculean effort from the already battered former cosplayer. She wouldn't get the chance to try. "Haakkkk!" She coughed as Taylor smashed her fist into the brunette's ribs, forcing her to let go of the face lock and get hit with something worse.

Adrian didn't make a sound as the blonde's skull connected with hers, she just fell back with her eyes barely open as she hit the mat below back first, tears welling up in her eyes as her blood mixed in with Taylor's. She was so close, and once more, victory had just slipped through her fingertips. "N-no..." She murmured, moving like she was rising from the grave, trying everything just to stand back up and take another shot at Taylor, just pushing herself further and further up until she was staggering to her feet, eyes glazed over as bloody hair clung to her face.

Taylor gasped in pain and put a hand to her bruised and bleeding face. She had knocked Adrian away and saved herself from a grim death and a miserable defeat below, but it had cost her in dizzying, nauseating pain. It was a moment before she could open her eyes enough to see Adrian below.

She was almost shocked to see that Adrian was already soldiering up to her feet, and making Taylor eat so many of her words about the girl's toughness, or lack thereof. It would be disastrous if Adrian had recovered first, but Taylor could make sure she stayed down.

She could see through her bleary eyes just enough to spot her jump. She gave it no theatrics, no playing to the crowd, no over the top backflip. She only jumped off, catching Adrian with an arm around her neck as she fell onto her back, and drove the bloody brunette headfirst into the mat with enough force to make the entire ring jump.

"Ghhnkk..." Adrian groaned as Taylors arm collided with her throat, sending the former cosplayer sailing back towards the mat, the lights in her eyes finally going out as she laid still on the mat, only bouncing slightly with the ring vibrations.

Junko gasped as Taylor fell. The two had nearly killed themselves on the stupid ropes and Junko's hand was fanning herself so rapidly, it ached. SHE was panting and her heart was racing and she wasn't even in the match! Junko bit her lips and sucked in a breath while she waited to see what might become of the two girls. They both looked just awful and as much heart as the two had put into the match and as great as it had been, she was sad to see such pretty young girls laid out on the mat like slabs of butchered cow.

"Please... just be over now..." She whispered to herself while she watched on intently.
