Summer Splash Challenge! Taylor Vs. Adrian: Event 2!

Adrian hadn't really noticed where Taylor was, all that mattered was that she knew that Taylor wasn't in front of her as she jumped up to the balance beam, arms out to either side as she rushed down without so much as a wobble, she'd run across barricades before, this beam was both wider and more stable: easy. Just the finish line... that was behind a paper wall? When did that get put up? she wondered to herself as she jumped down. The finish line must be just beyond that, and this was no time to stop moving. Charging forward as fast as her legs would let her, she tried to barge through the flimsy obstacle and claim what she hoped was her first challenge victory.

As the two bulldozed bravely through the paper walls, one of them would find more than just an empty path in front of them. A blond haired girl waited crouched down behind one of them.

And as Taylor burst through the wall Aurora leaped forward and up into her abdomen with her shoulder, not as a spear, but as a standing tackle just to hold her back. "Sorry, babe, but you're not getting through!"

Taylor crashed through the paper wall, expecting to find a finish line, and was skewered through the midsection by a blonde chick. "Hufff!" It knocked the wind out of her and took her totally by surprise, but she kept her feet under her.

"Are you serious?" She shouted indignantly, and tried to dig her arms down under the blonde's shoulders to shunt her to the side. "What is this shit? Get the fuck out of the waaay!"

She twisted and turned the blonde off to the side and tried to run past her. Maybe Adrian had similar trouble. She could still win.

Once the two contenders were off and ready, Lukretia motioned from the backstage area for two people to come in. She had planned to set two wrestlers behind the paper walls to spice up the competition a bit. The arm wrestling could have been fun but only was thanks to Adrian's predictable cheating.

She had also suspected the girl to do the same with the obstacle course plans so she added a slight addition to the course after everything was set. And a special surprise. She was thrilled to see how the two would handle the last event but if they were not competing fiercely, then what was the point?

As Adrian burst through the paper wall, there was a wrestler waiting for her as well. A baggy pants and clownish girl with green hair. Vanderdecken wasn't as close Aurora had been and she didn't charge at Adrian. Instead, she only had one thing to do and that was to make sure the cream pie she had in one hand made it right into Adrian's face.

"I hope you win." She said in a dry tone after shoving the pie forward.

"The fu-?" Adrian let out before she got a pie right in the face. That was... unexpected to be sure, was this the bonus challenge that Lukretia added for funsies? They had to cross the finish line while trying to look dignified with cream covering her face? Real funny, bitch. she thought at what she hoped was the German's general direction as she stumbled from the surprise, almost falling on the clown. "OUT OF MY WAY ASSHOLE!" She yelled, trying to barge past the dutch woman and run to the finish line just a few feet beyond the melancholy clown. When she won she was going to have to have some serious words with the boss, once she got the gunk out of her eyes.

Taylor shoved Aurora aside but she wasn't done quiet yet. "Not today!" she shouted and dove forward from her knees to grab ahold of one of Taylor's ankles and secure it under her shoulder. "Can't let you win this!"

Taylor tripped, and nearly face planted on the floor. The finish line was right there!

"Dude, get the fuck off!" Her voice rose frantically, She coiled up her free leg and crushed her heel into the blonde's face twice before she was able to yank her leg free. She scrambled on all fours until she could get her feet right, and sprinted across the finish line. She immediately looked around for Adrian.

Adrian was already across by the time Taylor had dislodged herself from Aurora, doubled over and breathing heavy as her muscles demanded the oxygen debt be repaid with interest. She had won the challenge, but the whole implications hadn't set in just yet, especially of the last obstacle.

Wiping the cream from her brow, she turned around to see Taylor scramble across the finish line in a mad dash. "Guess this means we're tied, huh." Adrian chuckled for a moment, raising her arm in victory.

Taylor stood up straight and slowed to a walk with her hands on her hips while she drew deep, controlled breaths. She couldn't help but look disappointed, her jaw clenched and her eyes dark, as she glanced at Adrian.

"Good job." It was all she could say.

She wanted to go back and pound the snot out of the dumb bitch that ruined it for her. She could've won if it wasn't for her. There was no point in making a scene, Adrian had won and there was nothing she could do about it. She just have to take her out in the next challenge.

"What..." She cocked her eyebrows as she finally noticed Adrian's face. "What is... You got somethin', like... up in here." She motioned with her hand over her face.

"Thanks. Means a lot." She said honestly. Despite being rivals and all, Adrian was still hungry for any praise she could get. "That just leaves the Chessboxing thing that Lukretia wants and then we have the actual match." The former cosplayer summarized before Taylor pointed out that despite her best efforts in the few seconds she'd had, she still hadn't gotten all the cream off.

"Freaking Kraut's dumb idea of a joke..." She grumbled, unaware of the whole circumstances. "Thought it'd be funny to have someone put a pie in my face when I burst through the paper. What did you get?" She asked, wondering what the German's sense of humour had done for the blonde.
