Rematch: Morrigan Vs. Valley Doll

Now that the hard part was over, Morrigan leaned back to let their positions do most of the work against Valley. She also slid her fingers through Valley's blonde hair and tugged, pulling at the blonde's neck. She clenched her free fist and then began to rain hateful punches down into the top of Valley's skull.

She was pretty sure the combination of all the things she was doing to the older wrestler would put her out of commission long before she could find some way to escape.

And just when Valley thought it couldn't get worse, it did. Exponentially.

After thirteen years of wrestling, Valley was pretty used to having her hair pulled, so that wouldn't have bothered her too much by itself. But the punching was another story. Brutal. Rapid. Intense. Each strike seemed to hurt more than the last as they rained down on her unprotected face, dragging her closer and closer to dream land with each second.

After the third - maybe the fourth, she had trouble counting - Valley summoned her reserves, pushed up with both her legs, and went into a mad roll, putting everything she had into a sudden, wild attempt to roll them into the ropes and gain freedom.

Morrigan had Valley pretty pinned down, but the blonde still had almost total control of everything below her neck. Though that didn't bother Morrigan as she continued to try and beat Valley into unconsciousness, it did give Valley room to work and soon, Morrigan was tipped into a roll that she could not stop.

Deciding to try and not get caught up in it, Morrigan spread her legs and let valley keep going once they were back on their butts. Feeling some adrenaline rush into her from gaining the momentum, Morrigan hopped up and dove at Valley feet first, trying to baseball slide into the blonde. If she wanted to go to the ropes so badly, then Morrigan would oblige her and then some.

Valley breathed many deep sighs of relief through her busted lip when Morrigan finally released the scissorhold, all while she massaged her crushed neck. She didn't have long, though. Only until Morrigan crashed into her and planted her boots right in the middle of the heart on her chest, landing a textbook baseball slide.

Valley went rolling away, flopping under the ropes, over the apron, and almost dumping out on the floor. Almost - she managed to grab the bottom rope on pure instinct at the last second. That was the only thing that saved her from falling flat on her back onto the cold floor. Instead, she dropped to a single knee a few feet in front of the announce table. She clutched her throbbing chest and just tried to focus on breathing normally. In, out. In, out. Staying lucid was key, here.

Morrigan hopped up and watched valley crouching nearby. She was a little sad she hadn't punted Valley out of the ring, but there was always a chance for a redo. She grabbed the middle rope and hopped off her feet, using it to propel herself out of the ring feet first with her boots aimed at valley's head.

Valley had just started to stand up when she became reacquainted with the underside of Morrigan's boots, as they crashed into the side of her head at terminal velocity. She went tumbling once, tried to stand back up, then tumbled again as her legs gave way, ending up close enough to the English commentator desk to hear their take on matters.

"-Morrigan continues to turn the tables on the Slamazon, folks." The younger, brighter, blonder commentator remarked, as Valley flopped on her back in front of them with one hand rubbing her head while the other continued to nurse her chest. "If you'd skipped a minute at the right place, you might even think you were watching a different match!"

Valley couldn't disagree - this was quickly getting out of her hands. She wanted to turn things around and she had some ideas, but they all required her to stand up. She was having trouble doing that.

Once Morrigan was out of the ring, she stomped over to Valley Doll. She wanted to continue to shut up the obnoxious blonde and show her that while she may have gotten the upper hand initially, Morrigan was tough and a survivor.

She reached out for the struggling blonde's hair and then tried to throw her head first into the steel steps. Hopefully that would be enough to rattle Valley's head enough to try and finish her off.

Some of Valley's opponents might've taken the opportunity to do a little showboating and rub in the humiliation after knocking her out of the ring. Not Morrigan. Morrigan was a vindictive, evil little witch, yes, but she was also smart. Smart enough to take the fight right to Valley as soon as she could.

The Slamazon had to bite back another shriek as she was hauled over to the steps. She had a pretty good idea what was happening next, and she also knew it would be the start of a very painful time for her if she didn't keep it from happening.

She brought her leg up and placed her foot against the middle step, using it to push back against the throw at the last moment. At the same time, she jerked back and threw an elbow into Morrigan's gut. She was still weak, couldn't get too much force into the wild blow, but if all it did was buy her a few seconds, she would be happy. Letting Morrigan's momentum get out of hand had been what cost her the match last time.

"Gh? Guh!"

Morrigan was stopped from smashing Valley's head into the steel steps, and the follow up elbow to he gut loosened her grip. She scowled and growled audibly, letting go of Valley with a shove and winging her own elbow at the blonde's face.

Valley had a feeling she would pay for her little counterattack, and she guessed right. It wasn't nearly as bad as getting her face slammed into the steps, but Morrigan's elbow wasn't exactly as gentle as a summer breeze, either.

The blow connected solidly on her nose with some deceptive force behind it, hitting harder than she remembered from the last time they fought. Valley stumbled towards the barricade and wound up leaning on it for support while she nursed her face. Some of the fans patted her on the shoulder, cheered her on, but she didn't look their way. Her eyes stayed locked at Morrigan, glaring fierce her way, as if daring her to come over and do it again.
