Valley Doll

Post by acuya on Mon Feb 24, 2014 4:56 am

Real Name: Valerie Dolores-Castle Wells Jr.
Nicknames: The Slamazon, the Last Slamazon, the Chick of 1,001 Kicks
Age: 32
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blonde
Height: 5”8’
Weight: 132 lbs
Nationality: United States of America
Alignment: Face

Entrance Music:

Ain't Talking 'Bout Love by Van Halen (2014-2015)
Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) by Journey (Briefly used in 2014)

Wrestling Information

Strategy: An experienced wrestler, Valerie draws on her history as a cheerleader, and prefers high-flying, agile attacks, along with powerful and swift kicks, encorporated from various martial arts. She also has an impressive grasp of submission moves and can employ some nifty grapples. With opponents close to her size or smaller, she'll even bust out the occasional power move. Lately, she's gotten into a habit of going for frequent pins, to wear her opponents down mentally and physically.

It's also worth noting that Valley looks at herself as both a competitor and an entertainer in equal parts. Just winning a match isn't enough for her, she has to do it in spectacular fashion. If she has to choose between a more pratical move and something that might hit harder with a high risk but look better, she'll always opt for the latter.

Style: High-Flying
Type: Indie Wrestling

Preferred Attacks: Aerial, Various Kicks, Throws, Submission Moves

Preferred Matches: Typically goes for standard, but will try other kinds with good reason. For big matches, Valley likes to engage her opponents in a special match type from her Slamazon days: Total Victory, a two out of three falls match where the first fall must be won by pin, the second by submission, and the third by knock out. Is not interested in hentai matches.

Physical Statistics

Endurance:★★★ - Years of wrestling have given her a good well of energy to tap.
Strength:★★ - Though not weak, she doesn't have much overall strength.
Speed:★★★★★ - Very quick and agile, with great flexibility.
Defense:★★★ - Prefers to dodge and evade attacks, rather than taking them head on.
Technique:★★★★★ - Most people are surprised to learn she's never taken martial arts. Experience has honed her skills, and she has a wide variety of moves to choose from. There's almost no angle she can't attack her opponent in the ring from, and relatively few moves she isn't capable of performing, at least in some way.

Wrestling Statistics

Strikes: ★★★★ - Uses powerful and quick kicks to hammer foes and pour on pressure. Is working on improving her punches, mainly to serve as a way to set up her kicks.
Submissions: ★★★ - Well-versed in submission holds. Not her first choice, but she can and will use them.
Powerhouse: ★★★ - Fairly low on upperbody strength, but can toss around women her own size and weight.
Aerial: ★★★★★ - Does very well in the air, quite agile and adept with going high.
Counters: ★★★ - As a vet, she had a good understanding of wrestling moves and can counter them effectively, though it's not her specialty.

Signature Move:

Trapped in the Valley: A figure-four headlock.

Pelé Kick

A classic move that Valley's trying to better integrate into her moveset. With her back to the opponent, Valley falls backwards and swings her leg towards the opponent, going for a kick in the face. A good surprise move that can catch an opponent off guard if she sets it up right.

Finishing Moves:

Valley Bomb - When her opponent is standing and dizzied, Valley runs to the ropes, bouces off and comes towards them, then does a cartwheel, flipping through the air beside them. As she passes, she grabs her opponents legs at the right moment while she's upside down, and pulls them along with her, using the momentum to slap them into a powerbomb, of sorts.

The move itself isn't that damaging, but it puts the opponent into a pin so quickly and it's so unorthodox that most opponent's don't even realize they're being pinned until it's too late.

Full Moonsault: With the opponent lying prone in the ring, Valley runs up the turnbuckle, hops top for a little extra bounce, then leaps off backwards. She tucks her legs in to reduce resistance, which allows her to rotate even more than usual, getting in a second rotation to the moonsault and landing with devastating force.

Personality: Some people often think Valerie is just some dumb blonde starlet, looking to use wrestling as a stepping stone to further her career - a pretty face in a leotard. And while she is certainly a pretty face, and she does wear a leotard, that’s hardly all she is.

Valerie has a genuine love for the sport in all areas, and takes her matches incredibly seriously - for her, it’s an art form, and she demands it be given the proper respect. She respects a good challenge, though she’s not above having a little fun in the ring, every once in a while. In the end, she’s all about putting on a good show for the fans, win or lose.

Outside the ring, she can be a bit of a flirt and a party girl - she loves to have fun, though it's somewhat tempered by age, these days. Growing old bothers her a lot more than she lets on.

History: Born in bright and beautiful Palm Springs, Valeria was born the daughter of famous wrestlerette Valerie Dolores, one of half the Heartbreakers, the Tag Team Champions of Slamazons, a big wrestling league in California. As such, Valerie was engulfed in wrestling culture from an early age, and many expected her to take on her mother’s legacy.

She hated it...or at least, that’s what she told everyone. She didn’t have a rebellious phase, so much as she had a series of different phases - her punk rocker phase, her goth phase, her preppie phase. She resisted it at every turn, for all the good it did her. She tried to move away from it, became a cheerleader, focused on singing, but in the end...she was her mother’s daughter, and the pull was irresistible. She fought it, but she idolized her mother, wanted to be like her heroine. So when the time was right, she joined Slamazons.

She wrestled for a good twelve years, before bad management caused Slamazons to fall. Her family was fine - her mother was retired and sitting on a good bit of money. But Valerie was still eager to build up her own legacy - so she sets her sights on the AFW.

Wrestling Outfits

The outfit she wore for most of her time with the Slamazons.

After having her original constume ripped apart by Morrigan, she decided to update.

A new outfit Valley has in the works. Will make its fist appearance at Avalanche 2015.

Also, please note that Valley Doll, as of late 2015, DOES NOT HAVE A TAN ANYMORE. So, please, if you're in a topic with her, you can't mention how ugly her nonexistant spray tan makes her look.

Fun Facts:

-You would think that, being a high flyer and all, she wouldn’t have any problem with would be wrong. She’s, in fact, terrified of heights - she’s only been on a plane once - traveling to Japan, recently - and she’s already calling it the worst three hours of her life.

-Valerie is a closet Star Wars fan. She’s in the closet not because she thinks there’s anything wrong with being a Star Wars fan, but because she thinks people would get freaked out to know how obsessive she is about it. And she’s right. They would.

-For a cheerleader, she’s notoriously bad at dancing without a set routine.

-Is very particular about her breasts. It's silly, yes, but she's often accused of having surgery to get them, and while she's not against the practice, she is against people thinking she's done it - they're real, damn it. UPDATE: As of August 2015, Valley has undergone breast reduction surgery and shrunken her breasts by about half.

-Very fond of cats. Owns a six-year old tabby, Valentine.

-Absolutely loves 70/80s rock bands. She's into more modern music, too, but she always comes back to the good old stuff - Queen, AC/DC, Van Halen, Def Leppard. Her father was a guitarist from a band called the Pale Riders that had some success in the 80s, and it's a big reason she even exists - her parents met at a concert he was holding to start off a Slamazons show, and she was conceived in the after party.

Championships/Accomplishments: Since she was holding the Slamazons Champion Belt when it went down, she’s technically still and will always be the Slamazons Champ. Not that it’s worth much, but there you go.

Silver Ace: It's been a roller coaster ride between Silver Ace and Valley. After their first match, Valley and Ace started a relationship together, until Valley became too controlling and they split. For a while they were apart, but an intense match drew them back together. Currently, they've started over from square one, trying to see how things work when they go for a more organic approach.

Chris Morgan: After their match, Valley and Chris Morgan became close friends. Their similar backgrounds gave them common ground, and Chris was a constant help during Valley's darker times. They've even had a very intimate moment...

Alaina Sanders: A new blood that Valley fought and defeated, then became fast friends with after some training.

Kimmy Colton: A budding wrestler from New York that Valley had an intense match with. Valley's only just gotten to know her, but she's taken a keen interest in the young girl's career.

Haruka Date: One of Valley's closest matches and the start of her comeback trail. The two of them had a very, very close match, where Haruka had her on the ropes numerous times, and they'll probably meet again.

Natasha Han: This one was a bit of a surprise. What Valley expected to be just another exhibition match turned into a brutal, relentless bout that pushed her right to the edge. Natasha apparently had something to prove, and she fought like it was a PPV with a title on the line. She nearly took Valley down a few times, but in the end, lost to the Valley Bomb. She swore a rematch would happen, and Valley's been looking forward to it ever since.

Julia Rogers: A younger luchadora that Valley considers to be a younger, fresher version of herself. Valley's wanted her in the ring for a long while, and considers beating her to be the ultimate test. Whether she'll pass that test remains to be seen.

Alicia Wells: A newcomer to the AFW. Alicia is a very strong and gifted young wrestler, but Valley thinks she has a bit of a mean streak to her, but can't deny Alicia's ability. Valley came within a hair's breath of losing to Alicia in their official match, and she knows that, next time, she'll be even better.

Amethyst Velour:The first person Valley fought in the AFW, Amethyst has gotten a weird obsession with her...or hurting her, to be more specific. Beat her up in the gym, put her in the hospital for a little while.

Jade Hawk, Gold Lioness: Ganged up on Silver in a match, and Valley had to come down to save her. Valley made fun of them in a promo, which didn't exactly calm things down.

Lu Jiao Jocelyn: Another bitch who hurt Silver Ace, this at the Friction World Cup. Valley kicked her out of the ring and thought that was the end of it...

Allison Watson: ...until this woman came into the picture. She and Jocelyn had a tag match with her and Ace at Summer Slam, in which Valley went overboard in protecting Ace and mauled Jocelyn. When the fight was over, Allison cheapshotted Valley with an atomic drop and pinned poor Ace, skipping out of the ring with Jocelyn right behind.[/b]
