SS '14 Hawk and Lioness Vs. Silver Ace and Valley Doll

Once Jocelyn saw that Ace was no longer giving chase, she stopped rolling and spun her body around, bracing her weight on her shoulder blades before performing another impressive kip up.

She took a step forward and smiled, pivoting her body and getting into her Wu Shu stance. She had a cruel smile on her face as her almond eyes flickered, giving her a regal and exotic appearance until her mouth opened and the train wreck of English spewed out from it.

"Pretty fuckin weak revenge. More like loud thunder in a quiet, fuckin room, ya drongo!"

Jocelyn, who usually let her emotions get the better of her, was feeling good seeing things from the other side of the coin. She tilted her head and pointed at her chin. "Need a lil help, joey?" She said, holding out her jaw for Ace mockingly.

"Jocelyn," Allison said from behind the gutter-mouthed girl. Her voice was soft and musical, but with a stern edge to it. She spoke quietly enough that only Jocelyn could hear.

"You are by far the smallest of the four of us. You are also much more skilled than either of our lovely opponents, yet you're trying to act like an idiot bully. While we're both in this ring, I expect you to perform to the best of your ability, and that begins with understanding how you're superior. Now, go and paint me a pretty picture, will you darling?"

Valley watched from the corner, not quite as silent as her British counterpart. Ace was still revved up, but she knew she could seal the deal on this hack - she had the skills, the ability, she just needed to get her head right."Keep it cool, baby, this twig isn't half the wrestler you are on the worst day of your life! Don't let her wreck your calm, you go this. Outwrestle her. Just like we practice, remember the fundamentals."

She started to clap, rallying the crowd to give Ace a boost. She was a little worried - Jocelyn seemed more skilled than she'd originally given her credit for, showing some martial arts. Kung Fu, from the look of it.

It was true. Jocelyn did know martial arts. Wu Shu to be specific, Bājíquán to be even more specific and she could get even MORE specific than that. She was quite good at it too, thanks in part to her father all but forcing her to excel at it.

She had tried to use it when she first entered the ring but it never seemed to click very well. Maybe because she hadn't figured out how to integrate it into countering a powerbomb? Maybe she wasn't as focused and clear of mind as she needed to be. It certainly seemed like a definite possibility for the fiery tempered mutt.

However, she felt at ease in the moment, even despite the crowd's cheering for Ace. Jocelyn's cheeks were also a slight shade of crimson from Allison's words.

Of course she wasn't going to just take an attack from Ace as the silver haired girl slashed out. Jocelyn stepped to the side and in, towards Ace as she swung her leg out. The Chistralian's palms were slightly exposed as her fingers curled inward. She threw her left hand downward to deflect the leg that she couldn't completely side step and then raised her other hand to snap the base of her palm into the bridge of Ace's nose and follow up with a sharp, close range elbow to the face.

It would all happen in an instant and, if successful, would be both graceful to watch and painful to receive.

Jocelyn bobbed on her feet as she put Ace down, her Chinese dress swishing elegantly around her. It had been a while since she'd gotten a thrill like that. She may have hated her father for forcing his will upon her, but she didn't hate WÅ« Shu and that was the reason why. It was why she chose wrestling as a way to rebelliously stab back at her dad.

Jocelyn watch Ace try to get up and hopped forward, she swung her elbow down, trying to drive it into the top of Ace's head while she thrust her knee upward into Ace's face, trying to sandwich Ace between two vicious points of the Chistralian's lithe frame.

Valley gripped the ropes tight as Jocelyn's skill started to come out, trying hard not let her worries play on her face and wreck Ace's confidence. She and Ace had trained well...to fight Hawk and Lioness. Jocelyn was bringing a style of fighting that was wholly different from anything those two would have been working with. Ace would have to think on her feet. "Come on, come on..."

And there was still that other woman to deal with, Allison. Valley stole a few furtive glances her way. She seemed closer to Valley's age, maybe two or three years younger. That didn't necessarily translate to skill, but it was curious - most wrestlers in the AFW were near the younger end of twenty. Valley had just turned thirty before she joined - she hadn't bothered to check, but she wouldn't be surprised to learn she was one of the oldest, if not the oldest, active wrestler. Seeing someone else that close was a bit odd.

It all added up to an uncomfortable situation, but then, wrestling had a way of throwing those her way. She'd deal with it. They'd deal with it.

Jocelyn frowned as Ace blocked her knee strike, however, she still connected with an elbow and took a step back to admire her work.

"Don't need ta kick yer poonce ta beat yer ass, do I?" She taunted in her grating Aussie accent.

"Face works just as well!" Jocelyn snapped her leg out to try and crack it across Ace's head and put the silver haired girl on the canvas for good.
