Hard Velocity Vs. KamiKaze

Heather would let out a pained groan as Akashi quickly pulled her to her feet, giving her no time to react as she was immediately tossed into the corner. Heather's eyes would widen as she saw Taylor's boot in her path. Unable to do anything to prevent it, her head would collide with her boot, sending her back and onto the mat as the rubbed the area of pain.

Akashi watches as Taylor's boot slams into Heather's face. She winces but begins to run towards the ropes and when she gets close, calls for the tag so she can slap Taylor's hand in mid stride, bounding over Heather to climb the ropes quickly to plant herself into a sitting position on the top turnbuckle and hold out her hands for Taylor to do the rest.

Oh shit, Taylor thought. That. She swallowed hard, but there was no time to lose. They'd practiced it plenty, but she didn't have any time to think it through, she just had to move and hope for the best.

She slapped Akashi's hand and leapt over the top rope. She jumped off the middle rope to plant her foot in Akashi's hands, and jumped, as high as she could, with Akashi's help. She knew where Heather was, she knew the distance and she knew she could hit it. She hung in the air for what seemed like forever, she was higher up than she'd ever been without a crash mat, and up there everything seemed to go quiet, even the crowd. She turned a neat backflip and came down at Heather aiming to put all that momentum to use by slamming her knees into whatever part of her unfortunate enough to get in the way.

Heather would try her best to knock herself back to her senses as she lie there on the mat after being hit with Taylor's boot. She knew she didn't really have much time to waste and that she was wasting it away as she lie there, trying to regain herself. She had just taken quite the beating and glanced over at Cecilia, biting her lip a bit as she realized it.

Then, she would look up at what almost seemed like a tower that Akashi and Taylor had made on the top rope. Heather's eyes would widen in surprise as she saw Taylor get up on top of Akashi, before the girl would leap up, heading straight towards her. Using whatever energy she could muster, Heather would push at the canvas, using the force to roll herself out of the way of the move to try and avoid at the last minute the powerful double team maneuver.

Taylor slammed into the mat with nothing to break her fall. She would have screamed if she had the breath to do it, but instead she silently recoiled up off the mat clutching her ribs before falling back down, curled up in a ball. She squeezed her eyes shut and bit her lower lip. If nothing was broken it'd be a miracle, but she couldn't move.

Akashi screamed out when she say Taylor miss the hit. She had to turn her head away for a moment before she found herself gripping the ropes tightly. Her head was lowered, her bangs covering her eyes. "Baka..." She growled. "Baka! BKA BAKA!" She shouted and looked at the two bodies on the floor. It was Akashi's fault. She should have taken more time to beat up Heather. She shouldn't have tagged Taylor in. She should have finished the match herself. She was pissed and she felt like she wanted to take it out on someone, but she quietly smoldered in the corner and watched as Taylor writhed in agony. This was the worst possible situation.

Being able to narrowly avoid that big move by Akashi and Taylor, Heather would get up on all fours, breathing in and out heavily to try to regain herself. She would run through her mind what she thought she could do, looking over at Cecilia for a second. She would grit her teeth before shaking her head, apologizing to Cecilia in her head a bit as she turned back to Taylor. In her mind she had her and she wasn't going to let this opportunity slip

She would turn her body towards Taylor and keep herself on her hands and knees. She would narrow her eyes as she kept her vision directed on the girl, trying to focus herself as much as she could. She wasn't in a position to use her top rope finishers, but she had an idea. "Come on..get up.." Heather would say quietly, keeping a steady glare directed at Taylor as she waited in anticipation for the girl to get to her feet.

Long seconds ticked by before Taylor moved at all. She rolled onto her back, still tucked tightly in a ball. Because she wanted to hide the look of obvious pain on her face from the cameras, she rolled over onto her knees to bury her face in the mat, but sharp pain from her ribs put her on her back.

Something wasn't right. In all her AFW career, she'd never actually been injured, not exactly. She'd been beaten up plenty and spent more than her share of time with the Friction medical staff, but nothing like this.

She gingerly tested her side with her fingers. More shooting pain.

Fuck.

She finally opened her eyes and looked up at the lights. She looked down at her leg and noticed that she'd knocked one of her knee pads sideways, and she reached down to fix it. She could see the ropes, but she wasn't close enough to reach for them to work on getting up. She knew Akashi was close by, but not close enough. The only person that was coming to get her was Heather.

"Sorry Kashi... I fucked up." She said quietly, and began trying to sit up despite the sharp pain in her ribs. There was no use in laying around and waiting for Heather to pull shit like she did with Natalia. Taylor, unlike Natalia, would gnaw Heather's ankles off before she'd ever be humiliated like that. Still, the thought gave her a chill, given her current state.

She pushed up onto one hand and looked at Heather. She lifted her other hand and gave Heather her middle finger, and then waved her in.

Heather would watch Taylor's movements and see that the girl was indeed in pain. The fact that she was taking so long to get to try and get up was a testament to that. She would click her tongue a bit in the fact that she was in waiting for such a period of time, but in her mind the fact that she was having such difficulty made her falter a bit.

Heather wanted to get her back for what she said and how she's treated her this whole time, but she didn't want to seriously injure the girl. She was going to give the girl the time she needed before she would see Taylor raise her other hand up and flip her off.

"Kh..wh..Y-you!" Heather would let out, gritting her teeth in frustration as she stormed over to Taylor. Reaching for the hand that she gave her the middle finger with, Heather would attempt to violently force her all the way up, just to quickly shift her grip to her head, trying to turn and leap up, trying to quickly bring her down with a cutter. Trying to perform a standing version of her top rope finisher that she would usually perform.

Taylor tried moving when Heather advanced, but she didn't get very far. Then Heather yanked her to her feet.

"Nyaaaaaahah! Ahhh!" She screamed, blinding pain from her midsection nearly dropping her right back down to one knee. She clutched her ribs with both hands and grit her teeth and stumbled along in Heather's grip.

Then Heather jumped, and a moment later Taylor's face bounced off the mat and she lay sprawled out face down, almost completely motionless.
