Old Friends, Old Rivals (Chigusa Vs. Mai)

Chigusa was hurt pretty badly now. Her leg wasn't just sore, it burned with pain. Mai's submission had damaged it pretty severely. Chigusa didn't think she could be able to stand on that leg now, though she hoped it would get better with time. When she was up, she saw Mai running at her with a clothesline. Chigusa wasn't about to get hit again. She ducked at the last moment, letting the clothesline sail overhead and Mai slam into the ropes hard.

Mai whiffed and crashed into the ropes being sent stumbling backwards and fell on her butt. She groaned and rubbed her butt, leaving her open for a few moments

Chigusa had to take advantage of the opening. She was still close to Mai, so she could attack her very quickly. Chigusa leaned against the ropes, raised one leg, and aimed a kick right at the small of Mai's back in a low kick. Chigusa needed to buy some time to recover, and this would give her some time. She needed to let her wounded leg stop hurting.

Mai yelped when her back was kicked and jumped forward and onto her knees, rubbing the small of her back, her butt sticking up in the air as she winced. She tried to call away and put some distance between her and Chigusa.

Chigusa didn't go after Mai. Her leg was really starting to bother her now, she could barely put any weight on it. So while she let Mai recover, she quickly turned her attention to her leg. It didn't look too damaged, though when Chigusa rubbed it she felt jolts of pain. Had Mai torn one of her muscles? After a few more seconds of rubbing, the pain started to disappear. Chigusa let out a small sigh of relief. She let go of the ropes, testing out her balance, and found it acceptable. She then turned her attention back to Mai...

While Chigusa was recovering, Mai stood up and turned around to face Chigusa. She saw that the idol was still rubbing her leg. A spark in her eye gleamed. If she could exploit that, then she could have a better chance at winning. As Chigusa turned to face her, Mai put up her fists and advanced cautiously. When she was close enough, she faked a high kick with one leg and then thrust out her other leg, hoping to land a hard low kick at Chigusa's injured leg.

Chigusa walked up close to Mai again, beginning to engage with her rival. Mai struck first, faking a kick that distracted Chigusa, while her other leg slammed hard into Chigusa's damaged leg. Chigusa let out a cry of pain, but her leg didn't buckle. If Mai was so intent on proving which girl had the stronger legs, which girl was the better kicker, then Chigusa decided to oblige her. She raised her unwounded leg and kicked right up at Mai's head, hoping to show Mai just how strong her lower body was.

Mai's eyes widened when Chigusa didn't even fall to one knee from her kick. The moment of surprise caused Chigusa's kick to hit it's mark. Mai stumbled backwards and then fell on her back, groaning and clutcing her head, dazed from the kick.

After knocking Mai onto her back, Chigusa immediately took advantage of this moment of weakness to strike. She grabbed Mai's legs, both of them, and dragged her to the center of the ring. She smiled down at Mai, before flipping her over and putting her in a powerful Boston Crab. Chigusa wouldn't be able to hold the submission for long, but at the very least she was going to hurt Mai's legs and her back a bit.

Mai's eyes widened as Chigusa grabbed her and drug her to the center of the ring. She did her best to try and kick out of Chigusa's grip but was flipped onto her stomach.She cried out in pain when the crab was applied and pounded the mat as her thighs burned. Clenching her teeth to try and keep from yelling, she let out soft whimpers of pain.
