Gabbie Desjardin Vs. Nova DellaPietra

Gabbie pushed up as she felt Nova wriggle above her. She needed to push herself and get out of the way while Nova stood up.

She could hear the crowd cheering and flung herself forward as much as she could, lunging so Nova plopped onto the canvas rather than her back. Gabbie then rolled away to try and clear some distance between her and the obnoxious pink haired girl.

"AIE!"

Nova shrieked in surprise and pain when her butt slammed into the mat instead of on the nice comfy blonde girl she had been riding. "Owwwww, ow, ow, ow..." She whined, and flopped forward onto her her knees and elbow, one hand back to rub her hurt behind.

Gabbie only spared a glance back at Nova as she screeched from the impact. The Canadian took a moment to catch her breath and rub her neck before she scrambled to her feet.

Gabbie spun around as fast as she could and winged a kick at Nova's back.

Smack!

"Aaaaaaaghh!" Nova wailed, arching her back in pain from the kick. She shook her fists back and forth in front of her chest before tipping over onto her side and thumping her fist against the mat.

"Ohhh myyy gawwwwwwd!"

Gabbie's face hardened as Nova cried. Her hands began to rise and she slowly began to bounce on the balls of her feet. She wanted so badly to grab Nova by her hair and yank her around, but she wasn't going to.

"Stand up!" Gabbie barked. "Stand up so I can put you back down on your ass!" Gabbie motioned at Nova as she was now fully back into her fighting stance.

Once Nova regained her senses, she pushed herself up on one hand, laying on one hip, and looked over at Gabby. Still fierce. Still itching to kick a hole in her.

She took a moment to primp and smooth out her pigtails, and then crawled her way to the corner before standing up. She leaned back against the turnbuckles and held up her hands, palms out toward Gabby.

"Stay back until I'm good and weady!"

Gabbie narrowed her eyes as nova fluffed and primped and tried to buy time. She might have let her up, but she wasn't going to let the girl do as she liked.

Gabbie cleared the distance and drew up her leg, looking to jam a straight kick into Nova's gut. If Nova wanted to hide in the corner, Gabbie would pin her there.

"Nonono!"

Nova fearfully flapped her hands at Gabby before the girl charged, and when Gabby couldn't see anymore, she smirked.

Just before Gabby reached her, before she could spear her foot straight through Nova's belly, Nova spun to the side, leaving Gabby with nothing but the corner to connect with.

"Ha!"

Gabbie's foot stabbed air and continued until it sailed through the ropes. Gabbie growled and grabbed the top ropes so she wouldn't look like too much of an idiot. Her cheeks were red. Nova was just smart enough to take advantage of any reckless behavior and crafty enough to bend the rules when that didn't work.

Still, Gabbie was certain that all she needed was one kick to the jaw to end the fight. She just had to get things to that point...

Nova laughed at the sight of Gabby hung up in the ropes, and quickly snagged the ankle of her stuck leg. She pulled back, wrapping Gabby's knee around the rope tightly enough to put strain on it, and took advantage of Gabby's legs being splayed apart with a sneaky knee up at her crotch.
