Collecting, A love/hate relationship

Who here besides me likes to collect figurines? You know, like the PVC ones of your favorite anime/tv show characters.

Well why, WHY for the love of shit do these damn things need to be so expensive, yet so tantalizing?! Seriously, I've been perusing the web for these things for... a lot longer than I should be now, and I always have the hardest time finding decent deals. Does anyone know a good site to buy from that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Don't say Amazon. Or Ebay. Been trying that. It's not so great. I mean DEDICATED sites for these things.

I avoid shelf-ware as much as possible, but I have a few PokÃmon figures. Those aren't so expensive.

I've been collecting for years. It's become an addiction of sorts.

This is tame compared to your guys stuff, but I collect Live Show DVD's of bands I enjoy.

It changes from though. I don't really collect statues. I have a couple of Venom figures a couple of Galactus figures and I used to want to get all of the old Gung Ho Guns figures they used to make. Unfortunately they did not MAKE all the GHG! >______________-< How awful! D:

I collect comics, mostly Venom appearances. Other things here and there but it's pretty random.

Venom is lame.
