Initially she trained Muay Thai, only to transfer her attention to Brazilian Jiujitsu and MMA later in her life. Being very successful MMA practitioner was a helpful trait in her career as she became member of French Gendarmerie nationale. Use of firearms only added to her overall fighting prowess. In certain point in her life Nina-Marie decided to withdraw from the ranks of Gendarmerie, even though she had successful career. Instead, she chose to become private bodyguard instead, under the patronage of the private security agency. Nina-Marie would have a prosperous career as a private security, if her patience haven’t failed her on June 12th XXXX year. On that day, the heated argument between her and her ex-husband escalated into a violent confrontation in which Nina-Marie inflicted multiple injuries to her ex (dislocated jaw, broken arms and several fractured ribs). From that point on, Nina-Marie’s life went downhill. She was triad for the murder attempt, and even though charges were dropped, Nina-Marie had to pay enormous sum to her ex as compensation. To make matters worse, this incident caused her status as private bodyguard to be revoked, promptly leaving Nina-Marie unemployed. Desperately needing money, she turned to only option she had – to become professional fighter. The incident with her ex did significant damage to her reputation – she was forced to fight in competitions and tournaments of lesser rank. She even took part in semi-legal fights. Armed with her natural talent and excellent training, Nina-Marie quickly came to the top ensuring her spot in the most highly ranked competitions. Soon, she was invited to join AFW and that was a chance she took without a moment of hesitation…

The truth is that Nina-Marie De la Croix is a fake name with fake biography and fake life all-together. Yet, the one that goes under the visage of this Frenchwoman is very real and much more deadly. Nina-Marie De la Croix from Montpellier will one day become Kira Vsevolodovna Zmein from Sankt Petersburg, who will in turn transform into Zoe Jäger from Wolfsburg only to be replaced by Nancy Lynch from Boston. Among these names floats the pseudonym Serpentrix. It’s the only real connection between these false identities and the only one that carries some truth. It is the name that sometimes shows up in the obscure documents and in doubtful rumors among the street thugs. Officially, any of those listed fake names are considered more real than Serpentrix.

Serpentrix’s story begins in the war-torn Yugoslavia. As the country was falling apart, her parents, whose identity will forever remain unknown, ended up in the USA as Yugoslav refugees. When their daughter was 3 years old, her parents gave her to the orphanage. Motive for such action is hard to determine, and the most probable reason was poverty. Anyhow, this child ended up as an orphan in the US social system. She was given a generic name, Rachel Darren, and with it her life begun. This is a rough reconstruction of Serpentrix origins and thus her ethnicity is still undetermined. As she grew up, “Rachel Darren” became a problem to the system and very soon she ended up on the streets, running away from the orphanage right into the arms of street low-life. Document from that period testifies that “Rachel Darren” died in the same year in which she escaped from the orphanage. This document is most likely a forgery, planted into a system by Serpentrix’s new masters.
It could be said that the night in which this girl run through the gates of that orphanage, was the night when she truly came to life. Serpentrix was born, leaving “Rachel Darren” to rot in the empty grave. Serpentrix run through the cold walls of social system deep into the New York concrete jungle. She was 10 or 11 when she did this. Too young. Too weak. Streets were about to chew her up and spit out the bones. New York City streets were not a place for a small girl. Yes, she was too young, and too weak, but she was also cold-hearted and her soul was as empty as the Rachel Darren’s grave. She didn’t felt fear. She didn’t know how to feel fear, or love…or any other emotion. The only thing she felt was the Serpent that coiled around her body. In every dream, during every night, during every day, Serpent was there, coiling around girl’s psyche.
The girl was “adopted” by a group. Call it a gang, if you will. That’s what people called them. They were gangers, low life, thugs, street scum…filth on the polished shoes of the great city. Yet, they were a street clan, a family, a tribe from the concrete jungle.  They were there for each other, protecting each other - stood side by side in every fight. Serpentrix came to them, and they embraced her as one of their own. She had family again.
Time passed. Serpentrix was running with her pack, wild and free. They were there when she was taught how to fight; they were there when she learned how to use a gun; they were there when she scored her first kill. Old members died, new members came; but the group survived. They even gave her a name; the one that one day grew into Serpentrix. She told her brothers and sisters about the Serpent in her dreams and they laughed at her. They called her Snake, Serpent and Viper. At first, this was a taunt, but later it was a sign of respect and approval. She did love her family, her tribe. She loved them with her mind; her fast, analytical and cold mind. Mind as beautiful as poisoned blade, and twice as deadly.
Time passed some more and Serpentrix rose in tribal hierarchy. Being second-in-command meant that more often than not she was leading her tribe in the bloody skirmishes and daring missions. There was no doubt that she earned that position. Serpentrix earned quite the reputation on the streets. In hand-to-hand fighting she could take out any other female, and most of the males. She was even more deadly with the guns. She won, not because of her muscles, but because of her cold, sharp, swift analytical mind. Time has changed though and city streets became even more deadly. Constant clashes with other groups reduced the ranks of her clan. Out of 28, 9 were still alive. No matter. Those that survived formed an elite battle group, carved out from the street tribe through the vicious struggle and “survival-of-the-fittest”. They became well equipped, skilled and trained freelancers– they were hired by the crime syndicates, by corporations, or by the city power structures. Their reputation grew – and so was their confidence.
Freelancing lasted until they had a deadly night encounter with a foe they couldn’t even imagine. Battle was hard, but they were victorious at the end. They were injured, but without any casualties. Before they even managed to examine who or what did they just kill, they were approached by anonymous spectators. With their impressive dark suits and unremarkable faces, these people piqued Serpentrix’s interest. Their offer piqued her interest even more. There, that same night, among the blood and gore, they offered to recruit entire group into their own organization. These mysterious people revealed that they already did business with Serpentrix’s group via proxy employers. This last battle was the final test – after that, group was granted full membership into the unnamed organization. At that point, ego and overblown confidence overcame group’s long time leader. He spoke some rubbish about staying independent, carving their own path, and seeking their own destiny. While he was talking about destiny seeking and path carving, group’s leader met his own destiny in a shape of Serpentrix’s broad battle-knife. Serpentrix decided to seek her own destiny by carving her path right across her leader’s throat. While the ex-leader tried to breathe through his wide-opened wind-pipe, Serpentrix quickly took over the leadership and accepted organization’s proposal. It is a matter of debate was her action motivated by her own selfish interest, or she did it for the benefit of the entire group. Whatever was her motive, truth was that since that day, group prospered. They enjoyed material stability, privileges and benefits that distinguished them from the common citizens. With greater paycheck came the more dangerous work; servitude to their new masters claimed the lives of 5 members of the group. Serpentrix and the two surviving members were separated through line of work. It is true that Serpentrix didn’t mind this separation much. After all, they were members of bigger group now. Her life finally had a clear purpose. She runs with a bigger pack now, under the new name which she invented for herself during her life on the street. This name will remain unknown to everyone outside her pack. This is the moment in which Serpent grew into Serpentrix, the only name she will ever reveal to the rest of the world.  
This organization (or society, as some call it) she joined hides itself behind dozens of names, proxy corporations, smaller organizations, groups, cliques and enterprises. While doing so, it maintains a complex and well organized web through which it spreads its world-wide reach. Its main goal is to accumulate as much money, influence and, above all else, power. This organization negotiates with other organizations, topples governments, make deals with criminal underworld, finance researches, influence the monetary systems and arrange wars. They manipulate blackmail, extort, and assassinate; everybody has a price, and no one is out of reach. Being agent of this organization, Serpentrix received full scale training. Her main role is the one of the assassin, spy/infiltrator and occasional strike-team member. She is well trained in hand-to-hand fighting techniques that can be described as MMA (Muay Thai, Krav Maga, Brazilian Jujitsu, and Taekwondo). She is also an expert in use of both melee and ranged weapons. Due to her role as a spy and infiltrator, Serpentrix is fluent in English, French, German, Russian and Serbo-Croatian – she gained knowledge in languages and fake identities according to her line of work. Even though she was raised in USA, Serpentrix’s masters decided to transfer her to Europe due to her European heritage. 82% of her assignments were in Europe, while the rest of them were in other parts of the world. Suspiciously, significant part of her assignments was located on the ex-Yugoslav territory. This is in accordance to Serpentrix’s probable origin.
Her new assignment brought a complete change of scenery. Under the guise of “Frenchwoman” she was to go to Japan and join AFW as a professional wrestler. The Organization made the arrangements for Serpentrix to be invited into the AFW. Instead of hiding her presence, Organization plans to hide Serpentrix in plain sight – as a pro wrestler, in front of cameras, even under her codename. As she is trained and experienced fighter, Serpentrix’s received appropriate mission. One of her tasks is to scout out and evaluate potential recruits for the Organization. Every match she fights is monitored by her superiors, and her opponents have a chance of getting a recruitment offer. Other tasks are known only to her, and AFW membership is to be used as a screen for her clandestine activities.
Serpentrix sees fighting in the AFW as rather difficult task. She knows she is a trained killer, not a ring fighter. Her killer instincts are not easily suppressed. Besides, she is used on catching her opponents unprepared, turning every possibility to her favor. Fighting in a match restricted by rules, in an open ring, and in the bright light was not her idea of having fun. Acting as a professional fighter, Serpentrix was even banned from smuggling weapons into the fight. However, she never turned away an assignment before, and she is not going to do it now, either.
