SS '13: Dark Match: Cassie Elliot Vs. Lu Jiao Jocelyn

Jocelyn forced a grin when she heard Cassie's scream. as much as she wanted to keep wrenching on it until it broke, she'd done the job she needed to do and she wasn't going to risk testing out the legality of it anymore than she had to.

Jocelyn untangled her legs and spun them away from Cassie. She needed to go. Get away from the red head and, more importantly, away from the center of the ring. But it seemed Cassie wasn't done. Jocelyn relinquished the toe and threw her hands up to block the incoming punch. "Get the fuck away!" She shouted and flung her arms forward to cast aside Cassie's incoming punch.

She lurched forward and panted hard as sweat rolled down her cheek. She looked at Cassie. The red head was still too close and Jocelyn knew if she made any quick attempts to put some distance between them, she'd only leave herself open for Cassie to catch her again.

"I don't even NEED my legs to beat YOU!" She taunted, turning her body around so her legs were splayed out behind her. They were on fire and she didn't know how useful they would be for walking or standing on for long periods of time but for the moment if she needed to at least get to her knees, she thought she might be ok.

Cassie instinctively scrunched up her toes once they were free, and she quickly got up. She was set to go after Jocelyn, press the attack, not give her any space, but she stopped short. She changed her mind.

She turned and walked away from Jocelyn, looking back over her shoulder and motioning for her to get up.

"I can't wait to see how you manage this part, then." She said, and she thought she actually sounded kind of tough saying it!

Jocelyn was ready for Cassie to come at her from her position. Instead, she watched as the red head backed away and taunted her."What... the hell did you say?" Jocelyn snarled. She understood. She just couldn't believe it.

Jocelyn stared Cassie down while she pulled herself to a kneeling position. Her legs burned and her body was trembling. She snortedtthrough her nose as she clenched her teeth tightly. With a grunt she threw herself into a standing position only to stumble and begin to fall backwards. Really, she was ok with that as long as she could let the momentum carry her to the ropes.

"You heard me!" Cassie shouted back. She glanced at Mamouru again for approval and moral support, and prepared to go after Jocelyn once she finally got up.

And she got up. Sort of. This time, Cassie couldn't ignore how it felt to see the effects of her work. She put a hand over her mouth and took a step back. She felt like a predator preparing to finish off a wounded, defenseless animal, and she was ashamed at how heartless it felt. Why couldn't she just have given up?

She looked at Mamouru again, her conflict written in her eyes, and then back at Jocelyn. She just had to remember that they were both fighters. Both wrestlers. This was what they did, everyone understood that.

Except for Cassie, apparently.

"A-are you..." She stopped herself, and shook her head. Lacking any better plan, she put a hand out to offer a tie-up.

Mamouru was feeling good about the match so far. He encouraged Cassie from the sideline and gave approving nods when she looked his way. But when she looked back after Jocelyn stumbled to the ropes he saw the look in her eyes and frowned.

"Go on! Finish her Cassie-San!" He encouraged.

The Chistralian was able to flop against the ropes and rested there for a long moment. It didn't seem like Cassie was coming after her. If the girl was going to let Jocelyn regroup, she was going to take every advantage of it.

When Cassie finally stepped forward and offered a lock up. Jocelyn planted a foot and made sure she was not too bad off. But when Cassie sheepishly asked her question, Jocelyn's eyes widened. She was about to scream at Cassie again but choked it down and smiled at the red head.

" I'm bloody ripper." She said and held up her arms. As Cassie came close, Jocelyn pulled her arm in to try and snap an elbow into Cassie's nose.

Cassie swallowed hard. She reminded herself that so much was riding on this match. Her career, for one thing, but she would let down not only Mamouru but all the other people who had been willing to put any faith in her. She was winning decisively so far, and she could not ruin it by being to nice.

So when Jocelyn reached out to take her hand, Cassie threw a low kick, aimed to batter Jocelyn's leg just above the knee. Before it landed, Jocelyn yanked her off balance, and instead she fell face-first into an elbow.

"Aagh!" She cried out and fell halfway to the mat. She caught herself and backed up rapidly, covering her nose with her hand.

Jocelyn grinned when the elbow connected. She knew she couldn't let Cassie recover though. Too many times the girl had squirreled away from her and she wasn't going to let it go to waste again. When Cassie bent down and tried to back away, Jocelyn reached for Cassie's hair to try and hold her in place so she could send more attacks to Cassie's face. This time int he form of close fisted punches. She was going to beat Cassie ugly for what the red head tried to do to her and she wasn't ready to trust her legs just yet. The last thing she could afford to do was have one give out when she tried a knee strike or hip toss.

Cassie gave a frustrated scream when Jocelyn yet again caught her by the hair, but frustration turned to panic as the girl's fist slammed into her face.

The first punch nearly dropped her to her knees, and she quickly covered up, putting her arms between her face and Jocelyn's torrent of punches. She felt a warm trickle of blood run from her nose, and she kept her eyes shut. She couldn't see out of them, anyway, after two solid shots to her nose. She tried retreating, but was stuck in place by the hair. Instead, she tried pushing into Jocelyn, reaching out to wrap her arms around the girl's body.

Jocelyn almost felt giddy when her fists slammed into Cassie's face. It was too much and it was the perfect payback for what the bitch had done to her legs. It was also a good way to shut the red head's stupid mouth up.

But when Cassie pushed forward and wrapped her arms around Jocelyn's waist, the Chistralian frowned for a moment. But only a moment. She let go of Cassie's hair and slid one hand down the back of the Canadian's white one piece. When her hand was in the small of Cassie's back, she dug her nails into the fabric and tried to tug up. A wedgie would be nice and humiliating but it wasn't her ultimate goal. She was looking to use her grip on Cassie's suit to try and maneuver her into a side headlock so she could plant Cassie into the mat head first with a DDT.

"Wha- Aiee! Stop it!" Cassie shrieked. Her hands retreated back behind her to try to hold down her pristine white suit, and her cheeks were already turning bright red. How unfair!

With her hands behind her, she couldn't even soften the blow when she was pulled forward and down, and her forehead slammed solidly into the mat. The ring shook with the impact, and then Cassie laid still, face down.

"Ugh..."
